February 1st, 2017 - 3:25pmI think it’s because its a ball joint, which makes the arms bulk up a bit due to the extra articulation.

January 31st, 2017 - 10:15amNow it says ‘stock on the way’ does that suggest they won’t be getting these today?

January 26th, 2017 - 7:31pmI wasn’t interested in this at first, but the £9.99 price tag makes it very appealing indeed. It’s amazing what a difference bicep and wrist swivels can do to improve the Tenth Doctor figure. I am loving the new headsculpt too.
Now if only they’d upscale the 3.75″ Tenth Doctor figure! Swappable arms and a removable coat piece would make it perfect; especially if offered in both brown and blue.

January 25th, 2017 - 10:14pmDoes anyone think that any FP retailers will get this figure in stock early like what’s happened with some figures in the past or not?
booboo
January 26th, 2017 - 7:41amits a strange situation, they were definitely saying mid spring (ie May) at the toys fair but FP dates seem very specific and they have both been given the same
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?
January 30th, 2017 - 4:40pmHopefully FP (International anyway) stick to their word and this gets released tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the case though. It’s a bit strange though that this is due tomorrow according to International yet on FP.com it’s not due until 28th February.
booboo
January 30th, 2017 - 4:45pmi get the impression that all of the figures would have followed the same system as before ie One every few weeks as a FP exclusive in the UK
It possible the 10th doctor was already on its way to them when things clearly changed

January 24th, 2017 - 11:37amThe price seems to gone down to ten pound. I pre ordered it when it was 15. Does that make a difference?

January 24th, 2017 - 3:20pmWell it means you and I will be paying £5 more than others! Hey-ho.

January 24th, 2017 - 4:42pmCancel your order over the phone. Then go back on the site and re-order it. I have just done that…I also added the 2 12th Doctor variants to the order. If you order all 3 figures the P&P is about £2 cheaper on FPI verses FP.com

January 23rd, 2017 - 8:05am18 point? I’m counting 14. Even if you count both shoulders as two separate pieces of articulation it’s still only 16.
Omega63
January 23rd, 2017 - 8:05amAside from that, I just really hope these get to Toys R Us as for me it’s so much easier to get to
booboo
January 23rd, 2017 - 8:43amI’m seeing 18?
Omega63
January 23rd, 2017 - 6:08pm1 Head
2 Shoulder (Maybe 4)
2 Bicep
2 Elbow
2 Wrist
1 Waist
2 Pelvis (Maybe 4)
2 Knee
So possibly, but if so then 12 has 20 in that principle.

January 21st, 2017 - 3:59pmIt seems that once again Character have got their facts wrong. This variant appeared in Rise of the Cybermen AND The Age of Steel AND also in The Lazarus Experiment.
Richard
January 22nd, 2017 - 12:22amBut he did wear this in Voyage of the Damned, did he not? Or was that a different shirt?
JA
January 22nd, 2017 - 4:37amThey were just giving episode examples, not ALL the episodes Ten wore the suit in.
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?
January 22nd, 2017 - 10:06amYes but Rise of the Cybermen and The Age of Steel is a two-parter, if they’re going to give examples then at least give correct ones. Then again Character did get the information wrong on some of the figures from the Thirteen Doctors set so it doesn’t surprise me.
booboo
January 22nd, 2017 - 1:16pmto be honest its down to the fans to scrutinise every episode this may have been in.
from a PR point of view its sensible to mention just a couple of episodes that would immediately ring bells with Jo Public

January 22nd, 2017 - 10:08amAlso UT’s USA Twitter page did say that the figure was from The End of Time until people corrected them.
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?
January 22nd, 2017 - 1:01pmActually it was UT’s Instagram page not Twitter, now I’m getting my facts wrong.
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?
January 22nd, 2017 - 1:41pmIt’s the same story as what happened with the Holographic Tenth Doctor, some people thought it was from Blink and others thought it was from Doomsday. It is debatable because I don’t think it actually specifys which episode this figure is supposed to be from but the obvious choice would be Voyage of the Damned.

January 25th, 2017 - 4:12pmNot technically wrong. They just named the more memorable ones. 🙂

January 21st, 2017 - 3:28pmIt’s just a shame that:
A. It’s not a standard outfit 10th Doctor with the updated articulation
And
B. It looks nothing like David Tennant.

January 21st, 2017 - 3:23pmIs it me or does the 3.75 version of 10 still have the superior likeness?.. shame.

January 21st, 2017 - 10:18amI asked Galaxy 4 if any changes would be made and this was their reply.
“Hi Richard
At the moment Character are still telling us the figure will be made available to us for a retail price of £9.99. If we are advised of any changes we will let you know straight away.”
Doctor909
January 21st, 2017 - 11:59amDid they mention anything about the release date?

January 21st, 2017 - 4:41pmNo, but on the website it says the 31st of May.

January 21st, 2017 - 4:44pmthe press release seems to confirm this
gut feeling is FPi have an exclusive lead in on the 10th Doctor at least
they may well have had some input on this figure as its labled UT

January 21st, 2017 - 1:13amFor the first time in a long time we’re actually getting a figure first, damn.
Though I do hope people across the world do get these figures eventually, because the more people who buy, the more money they get, the more chance of new figures being made!

January 20th, 2017 - 5:29pmno idea, personally i doubt it
this one was clearly a UT figure by the packaging we have seen so perhaps FP had some input hence they are getting stock early

January 20th, 2017 - 5:34pmToys R Us still advertise the Collector Series as Exclusive despite them (at least used to) being in FP. Real problems with false advertising clearly.

January 20th, 2017 - 5:42pmjoint exclusives aren’t uncommon, in fact as far as Doctor Who figures are concerned its been quite common

January 20th, 2017 - 8:00pmI was just saying it makes it clear no where that it’s joint on the Toys R Us website. Exclusive to me suggests it’s just that

December 17th, 2016 - 10:46amI have seen that someone has posted a picture of an in-hand image of this figure on the Doctor Who Toys Net forum and it includes a new mould closed Sonic Screwdriver, not the one seen in the prototype image. The packaging doesn’t look any different from last year’s wave though but it looks like a nice figure.
The Outcast
December 17th, 2016 - 11:04amHopefully this means that there could be more accessories for the 12th Doctor figure. Imagine if one of the 12th Doctors came wearing shades and with a closed confession dial and the other came with an open dial and closed sonic shades (as an accessory).
