This set is now available for pre-order on the US site along with the 13th doctor companion set. Very impressed by the diversity of the figurines being released this year. Never disappointed. Thank you to Neil and his team!

FYI – Former companion Fraser Hines appeared as ‘Mr Troughton’ in BBC1’s ‘Doctors’ soap today. Should be on iPlayer? Playing opposite uber geek Dr Al Haskey.

Anyone any idea what’s going on with the Rare Dalek Plinth from the Figurine Collection? Wasn’t it only supposed to be delayed until November? It’s about 7 issues late now

I had a note in one of my deliveries and said it was delayed until December but had a delivery the other week and I had another binder which I didn’t need so not got a clue what’s going on

Because so many people are stupid & cannot compose a reasonable comment. This end’s up with Booboo having to disable the Comments on that page. You may notice a number of pages like this unfortunately…

Just got Lynn and Eternal Dalek. Eaglemoss always send mine a month behind. The Paint job is dreadful on Lynn and the magazine has come ruined! First there was no bag around the magazine, which meant it got water damage, then we got the good bag, now we have these horrible bags which crease everything! Eaglemoss is pushing me to the limit!

Just realised that lin has purple from her vest on her head, as well as skin colour over the main body of the mutant. Only problem I get with figures is them being broken, with over 200 models it’s lucky it’s only happened 3 times, but this is the first model I don’t want too display.

Love everything about this *except* the 1st Dr who looks uniformally awful. Strange awkward pose & looks nothing like Hartnell. Such a shame as this could have been a definitive first Dr figurine.

Weirdly the first Doctor set seems very under priced on Big Bad given the exchange rate. I really cant see a 4 figure set going for less than £29.99 in the U.K.

Looking at this image of the first doctor, I immediately thought of the images they use for blu ray collections. Maybe it was made for a future box and then discarded and placed here.

Neil, if/when the regular fortnightly issues come to an end (sometime far, far into the distant future I hope), please consider continuing the collection with a periodic release of themed box sets of figures and oversized special editions. There’s so many more figures us collectors would like to see, hence the ever helpful!? wish lists and suggestions (dear Santa I would like….). Also, as long as the series itself continues, there’ll be many more new adversaries and allies of the Doctor to add to the potential figures list.

Keep up the good work (for as long as possible 😉 )

PS are there any figures you would wish to see that haven’t yet made it into production?

I will argue with anyone until I’m old and grey that not only is this the best figurine collection that Eaglemoss/Hero Collector has ever produced but that it is also the greatest figurine merchandise of Doctor Who ever done.

The love, care and attention to detail that Ben, Neil and the whole team put into this set is astounding and I really hope, even though a few people moan here and there, that they understand just how respected and appreciated they are for all their hard work and effort.

I’m so excited and looking forward to both confirmed sets for next year (13th and 1st Doctor companion sets) but I would love to know of there’s been an extension? One minute we’re told that Ben Robinson has confirmed an extension and so have the customer service department bit nothing has been announced and someone has mentioned their payment schedule stops at 180?

The Lord of the Rings figurine collection by Eaglemoss went to 300 issues in their main collection and I reckon this set could go that far without even breaking a sweat or “scraping the barrel” as some people say. Look on any comment thread on this site, Twitter or Facebook and you’ll see tons of really good ideas and characters left to do, plus a lot of Dalek and Cybermen variants left to go as well.

Either way I adore this collection and hope it continues for a good long while………would love to see a Menoptera made.

These sets, if it finishes at 180 for single figures, would seem the best way forward as a continuation with the Specials inbetween.
