Doctor Who Adventures issue 287

Doctor Who Adventures issue 287

Sorry! Slightly out of breath.I just nipped back to Henry VIII’s en suite to try and retrieve Rory’s phone charger (honestly, those Ponds!) when Anne Boleyn challenged me to a game of darts.

You know me, never one to turn down a challenge! Fast forward two hours and 17 guards mere chasing me around the Hampton Court maze. Thank Boe I parked the TARDIS in the centre. Which reminds me, I must get a hedge setting for the sonic. And a chocolate lemonade setting. And a knitting setting!

Also inside…

*Secret preview!
*Cowboy quiz!
*Monster texts!
*Matt interview!
*Adventure guide!
*Comic action!
*Behind the scene
*Puzzle party!

The Renegade Suprme dalek is the Ultimate dalek. Good, because it stands out.

I stopped getting this once I got the 200th issue as it was getting a bit tiresome and giving the same old free gifts all the time, but at times I like to look inside, and this time I glad I had, cos the comic-strip [Dawn of Time] really shocked me by showing the Doctor, Amy and Rory going back through the different incarnations of the Tardis console room all the way back to the 1963 original !!!! πŸ˜€

Pity that couldn’t have happened in an actual episode, even thou last years ‘The Doctors Wife’ did give us a chance to see the old 9th/10th Docto

Bit inappriorate having a naked woman in it!

    • Jason doctorwhoone

      September 20th, 2012 - 5:58pm

She sort off does appear ‘naked’ but she said she was made by Rassilon so she’s clearly an android.

Then again look at ‘Earthshock’ and ‘The Five Doctors’, both stories featured androids that could be viewed in someway as ‘naked’.

but since the android is just an android with nothing to really expose, it’s not a problem, otherwise they wouldn’t have the character in the comic-strip.

Glad they decided to have a cover for A Town Called Mercy. Sometimes, DWA like to dedicate a cover to the next episode when it’s almost the end of the series (or half of a series).

That will probably be the case next week, though! Move over cubes, the Weeping Angels are coming back! πŸ˜€
