So far for the anniversary, I have the 11 Doctors Stamps, and one of the Harlequin Goldsmiths Silver Ingots
The only other things I plan to get are the Character Building 11 Doctors, and I’ll give the Figurine Magazine Collection a try if it gets a full release
I might also get the Regeneration DVD, but only after it comes down in price
Posted by: the astronaut of death April 19th, 2013
how much all together was it to buy the stamps
Posted by: DavidH April 19th, 2013
It WAS £7.40, but because of an error with my order they gave me a refund but also let me keep them, so technically I got them free
Posted by: the astronaut of death April 19th, 2013
your well lucky
do you get the stamps in strips or what
Posted by: DavidH April 22nd, 2013

Posted by: Dan23 April 13th, 2013
Didn’t know where to put this but have any of you seen the new ice warrior figure image? http://m.sfx.co.uk/2013/04/13/first-look-at-the-new-character-options-doctor-who-ice-warrior/#null

Posted by: Calum Gillan April 16th, 2013
You can get it in WHSmiths
Posted by: The Surgeon April 4th, 2013
I’m going to be honest, I find all this memorabilia really disappointing really. I will probably get the Eighth, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Doctor’s respective books, but that’s all.
Posted by: josh smith April 3rd, 2013
im getting the 3rd and 6th doctor glasses
Posted by: Mels April 1st, 2013
Slightly off topic, but there is a 1/6 figure of Winston Churchill coming out in June. It’s not the Doctor Who Winston Churchill (the figure has nothing to do with Doctor Who)… it’s based off the real person. BUT, it fits the BCS DW range size wise, and would be nice to display next to the Big Chief 11th Doctor – or any of the Doctors really. Of course it’s very expensive. :p

love the Toby mugs, but saw the whole set on ebay for £1000, which i thought was a lot!
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor February 27th, 2013
Toby mugs ?
Posted by: DOCTOR WHO ONE February 28th, 2013
Toby Mugs are what the 11 Doctors versions are based on. If you look up Toby Mugs on Google in images, you’ll get the point.
Posted by: eddy March 6th, 2013
i think they might of been tankers, but i don’t think there is much differnce
Posted by: Sam Bentley February 19th, 2013
Just thought I’d say, after reading previous questions, how funny I think it is when someone asks the site for a certain figure to be released. I know, I know, I’m being harsh, but booboo and Luke can’t help them in anyway, they aren’t Underground Toys or Charcater Options! Not really a question, but I thought I’d make the statement anyway!
Posted by: eddy February 24th, 2013
totally agree with you sam
don’t think it sounds harsh at all .
good point well made
Posted by: The Ice Warrior is March 24th, 2013
yeah email co or ut
Posted by: Space1999 February 16th, 2013
William Hartnell looks like Alfred Hitchcock on the covers on the books where it doesn’t show his face
Posted by: Sam Bentley February 19th, 2013
I’ve always thought that as well! It’s got to be that nose!
Posted by: DOCTOR WHO ONE February 9th, 2013
Having just read the previous comment by ‘The Monitor’, saying that Forbidden Planet advertise so much Doctor Who merchandise but don’t show all of it in their stores, which he said also frustrates Forbidden Planet’s staff who clearly are massive Doctor Who fan’s, it would seem to me that what we need is a new range of stores all over the UK [and perhaps abroad too if possible] that sell nothing but Doctor Who merchandise.
Posted by: drjakeyoung February 9th, 2013
exactly! You know what, in Banbury, which has about 100,000 people living in it, there are no toy/model/dvd(now HMV has shut down) and no forbidden planet stores. The only way i can get all this stuff is by going online!
Posted by: booboo February 9th, 2013
Same where i live, Cheltenham, we still have HMV but nothing scifi shop wise
Forbidden planet are only in large towns and have a very established internet business to back them up and give them buying power.
Running a shops costs a fortune in rent and business rates and so on
Posted by: josh smith February 13th, 2013
yh i live in walthem cross and i used to by dr who from woolworths but now i have to go to london forbiden planet which is 40 mins away!
Posted by: Clayderman February 13th, 2013
Well, i guess i’m kinda lucky then.
I live in Birmingham, quite close to the city, I can get to Forbidden Planet in 20 minutes and back to the bus stop! But… If you visit and you want to get “offers”, go down to the Comic Book Shop. They have figures for £4.99!
Posted by: drjakeyoung February 16th, 2013
rent is to high these days, that is why there are hardly any toy shops
Posted by: Anonymous February 19th, 2013
theres one near me in bristol on park street but i have to get the buss there from st geogre and there are no local comic shops (I’ve been searching for batman automoblia for ages so i hope i can an eagle moss stockist before they release the doctor who figurre inen colletion
Posted by: dalek eternal February 20th, 2013
theres inly one fp in wales and thats in cardiff which is an hours drive from where i live in swaansea although there is a brilliant antigue shop in penarth with two toy shops downstairs both sell dr who figures i bought 4 figures ive been looking for for a while there the other day at £2.50 a figure which was great they also have all different toys ainly retro and they have some dapol stuff too ive had some great figures there in the past like the voc robot from the 4th dr set which id wanted for ages and many other rare figures
Posted by: The Monitor January 31st, 2013
As a collector for 30 years, I can state that collecting today is more difficult than in the Wilderness Years of 1990-2004, because less and less shops stock Who now.
FPI must be chuffed to get exclusivity to 3Drs, but this is a shallow victory if poor sales mean no more new classic figures emerge.
FP advertise so much on their site, but so little arrives in the shops. It frustrates the staff too.
Wilco and Argos discontinued within the last 12 months. Smythes sell 1 item. TRU have had no new items for months.
50th anniv. retailers..££s?
Posted by: Mooneye63 January 31st, 2013
Can we please have Jamie, the yeti’s & 60′s UNIT please. An electronic version of his TARDIS wld be great too. I feel the 2nd Dr is a tad overlooked. If you want to produce a different model, how about with life jacket & whooly hat from Fury From The Deep. When are we getting a version of the 2nd Drs Sonic? Its the Eveready Torch with a blue end cap. Cheers
Posted by: Joethewhovian February 24th, 2013
I’m sorry but booboo dosen’t make figures and this isn’t forbidden planet
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor January 30th, 2013
Those silhouettes are cool but Peter Davison’s and Jon Pertwee’s look wierd, Pertwee looks like he has a teacake sitting on top of his hair and Davison is unrecognisable, looks more like a messy Patrick Troughton
I like the vinyl stickers and the comic books, but why does the First Doctor’s look so computer generated ?
And could they not have had the Doctor’s face on the head side of the coin ? Sheesh !
Posted by: hanbot10 January 30th, 2013
hey guys. i found out that david bradley will play the 1st doctor in the 50th anniversery special. and on saturday i met a real life script writer for the doctor who radio serise!
Posted by: booboo January 30th, 2013
its in the news
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor January 30th, 2013
The radio series ? You mean Big Fnish ?
Posted by: DoctorWhoFanOfManyYears February 2nd, 2013
No we will not, he is playing William Hartnell, there has been no talk to any actors not even previous doctor who actors about the 50th anniversary special, David Bradley is playing Hartnell in a 90 min doctor who documentary…so its not the actual special and i doubt they cast his as the 1st in it either since he was in it in the first half of series 7
Posted by: captain claret January 29th, 2013
can we please have some Ogron action figures released please. They must be the most overlooked character not to get a figure
Posted by: josh smith February 13th, 2013
no ogrons AND draconions
Posted by: Mr Evil Fez January 23rd, 2013
Outside Forbidden Planet London is a poster that has the 1st Doctor’s head with his adventures inside it and it has the 2nd Doctor’s logo. It also says ‘Come and Celebrate the 50th Anniversary with us’.

CANT Wait for theese
Posted by: DavidH January 7th, 2013
I like the Zeon teapot and mug, right now they’re my most likely anniversary products to buy. But surely they should be gold, not silver?
Posted by: Calum Gillan January 6th, 2013
I don’t understand why the mugs are the same as the Eleven Doctors set figures and they have articulation points like a crack in the neck so the head can turn
Posted by: booboo January 6th, 2013
they are mock ups
Posted by: Mr Evil Fez January 5th, 2013
I have some ideas:
Angry Birds Doctor Who
1st Doctor’s Tardis Alarm clock
Classic Character Building figures
Pringles team up with Doctor Who to make collectible Dalek cans

Great ideas

Angry Birds Doctor Who

Posted by: DOCTOR WHO ONE January 7th, 2013
Weetabix should redo what they did back in the 1970′s which was have these cut out Doctor Who standees, but have them as the 11th Doctor, Clara, Tardis, modern Daleks and Cybermen etc.
Posted by: Droney January 9th, 2013
I love angry birds Doctor who and classic character building
Posted by: Mr Evil Fez January 9th, 2013
Thanks Droney!

No probes Mr Evil Fez
Posted by: Sammi Carter January 5th, 2013
i would like to see all the missing episodes recovered in time for 50th anniversary so i can see power of the daleks , the daleks master plan , evil of the daleks , the massacre , the myth makers , mission to the unknown , the highlanders and much more released on dvd finally.
and i would love to know if the rumours are true that power of the daleks has been returned to bbc
Posted by: Gordon January 10th, 2013
Not going to happen. Considering how long people in the bbc have been looking (1978) for missing the odds of all eps turning up are virtually nil.Not saying there wont be any more finds just the odds of all of them turning up are virtually non existant
Posted by: DoctorWhoFanOfManyYears February 2nd, 2013
Also it was said by many of the doctor who team and bbc that some were thrown out and i’m guessing have been destroyed over time where they were dumped and other were erased so that they could record on the films for different tv shows
Posted by: Baba January 4th, 2013
They should make a Blu-ray of the first ever Dr Who story in coluor like what they did with the DVD relaese in the U.N.I.T. files box set, in Invasion of the Dinosaurs the first part was in black & white but they re-colourd it.
Also they make a box set of Susan, The Doctor, Babra and ian.
Posted by: Gordon January 9th, 2013
Difference is invasion of the dinosaurs was made in colour and was recoloured using chroma dot colour recovery. Colour recovery isnt possible on stories that were black and white stories. Manual colourising of all 4 episodes of unearthly child would take too long (babelcolour has took 18 months just to do 1 ep of mind of evil) plus its unlikely blu ray will do anything to improve the picture quality
Posted by: The TARDIS January 4th, 2013
Some things I would like:
Key to Time modfel with pieces that fit together Like a jigsaw ans with a magnetic tracer that buzzes when it’s near it.
Sonic Screwdriver collection!
A series of collections for each Doctor that includes new figures of the Doctor, a selection of companions, an enemy or two and a very special special edition of one of their best stories. Plus maybe the reprint for their Doctor. So for the first Doctor, Ian, Susan and Barbara, a Dalek and a special edition of The Dalek Invasion of Earth and the book Ten Little Aliens.
Posted by: The TARDIS January 4th, 2013
Any other ideas for other sets? For the second Doctor, I’d use Jamie, Victoria and Zoe with a Tomb of the Cybermen style Cyberman and an Ice Warrior with a special edition of The Mind Robber.
Posted by: RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND January 4th, 2013
i do not like those mugs. they are creepy
Posted by: Baba January 4th, 2013
I think I will get some of the stuff there.
Like:
The collectors books with the special covers.
The glasses with the silhouette of the doctors head on it.
The TARDIS bobble head.
I do hope they make more stuff for the 50th anniversary.
Posted by: Sean Bassett January 1st, 2013
The BBC should release a new Doctor Who videogame for the 50th on 3DS where you start off as the 1st Doctor and each time you die,you regenerate into the next one until you reach the current 11th Doctor. Then,if you die whilst in your 11th incarnation,it’s game over.
It should be a open world action/adventure featuring a wide mixture of popular companions both classic and new, with over 50 of the Doctor’s enemies in the game including the Daleks and the weeping angels.
Posted by: Baba January 4th, 2013
Good idea!
Posted by: Baba January 4th, 2013
Good idea! That would be GREAT!
Posted by: Mr Evil Fez January 4th, 2013
Good idea but it should be on other consoles like The Wii!
Posted by: Baba January 4th, 2013
Yes.
Posted by: Mels January 4th, 2013
We keep hoping for at least one great Doctor Who game! (Especially one that features multiple – or all! – regenerations).
Really Doctor Who should be a game developer’s dream, with almost endless possibilies for story and location.

Posted by: Willjones December 31st, 2012
I have a couple of good ideas(I think they are good but feel free to criticize) :
1. the curse of peladon set: 1x alpha centauri 1x ice warrior 1x Ice lord and 1x king peladon.
2.the invasion set: 1x Tobias Vaughn 2x cybermen with guns and emotion ray thing and 1x Zoe heriot.
3.2nd doctor companion set: 1x 2nd doctor 1x Jamie Mcrimmon 1x Ben 1x Polly and 1x Victoria
4.The Green death set 1x doctor in milkman uniform 1x professor Clifford Jones 1x BOSS computer monitor and 1x Mike Yates in civvies’ clothing.
5. 1x Bessie 1x 3rd doctor 1x Liz
Posted by: jacondanjake January 2nd, 2013
I agree with everything except that I think Zoe Heriot should be in the 2nd Doctor Companion Set rather than The Invasion Set.
Posted by: McGann is The Doctor January 4th, 2013
A green death set with the Third Doctor in milkman uniform and clifford jones ?
Who would want that ?! I want the giant flying thing and the Doctor in his tartan cloak from the episode !
What they really need for Jon Pertwee is a set with him and Sarah from the Monster of Peladon with Aggedor and the Icelord, I love that story and would certainly buy that !
Posted by: Willjones January 8th, 2013
fair enough. thanks for your feedback
Posted by: Hazumu January 19th, 2013
With the Green Death set you could have a variant release with the Doctor dressed in his cleaner disguise
Posted by: drjakeyoung December 30th, 2012
how about the BBC animate every single lost doctor who episode (let them take a few years) and the release a giant box cubed thing(shaped like a Tardis, with every season box set in it! It could include some exclusive stuff with it like art cards, maybe a sonic screwdriver, actions figures and a comic. It would probably be about as big as a chair and the price range would be impossible but hay, if your a doctor who fan you will buy anything related to doctor who!
Posted by: Willjones December 31st, 2012
A really good Idea I certainly wouldn’t oppose it but it could take a long time
Posted by: drjakeyoung January 1st, 2013
by the time the BBC animate every lost episode (say 10/20 years from now) they will also have to include all the 12th and 13th doctor episodes, and because if the 13th doctor is supposedly the last doctor they could call it Doctor Who:the complete collection
Posted by: Anonymous January 2nd, 2013
Do you really think they’d finish it? They’ve already said they will just make something up at the time and have another one.
Posted by: drjakeyoung January 2nd, 2013
the bbc make tuns of money out of the show but by the time of the 13th doctor i think they would of animated all the episodes, which is perfect timing(just a guess) but yea the beeb would never cancel the show whistled it is making money
Posted by: Baba January 4th, 2013
That’s an amazing idea, they still have the voice recordings!
Posted by: Nathan Hancock December 30th, 2012
How about a variant set of the eleven Doctors (5 inch) and a variant set of the character building eleven Doctors set
Posted by: The Smith Nebula January 4th, 2013
Apparently there was a variant 5″ Eleven Doctors set but it was scrapped because of low interest from retailers.
Posted by: Mumble5557 Productions December 29th, 2012
How about a DVD & BluRay 3 part box set covering the most popular episode from that doctors era????
Posted by: Blink January 2nd, 2013
The picture quality ( at least for the classic series ) would not translate well into HD
Posted by: Mumble5557 Productions January 2nd, 2013
Good Point
Posted by: annoyedwhovian December 28th, 2012
i got the 50th anniversay top trumps in the post today. im not happy that the dalek sound effect that is supposed to play when the tin is opened does not work. except for that they are cool. i ordered them from amazon. i complained to winning moves and i will get my mum to complain to amazon because she ordered them on her account.

Posted by: annoyed whovian January 4th, 2013

WONDERFUL
Posted by: the astronaut of death December 26th, 2012
booboo are you going to do a page on what figures we would like to see in the snowmen
Posted by: Steve December 9th, 2012
Anyone else find it mighty annoying that most of the merchandise in particular the 16 oz glasses need to be shipped from the US, UNLESS you want to wait for them to become available in the home of Doctor Who, the UK. Shipping adds an extra $15 dollars onto the price, so you’re basically paying for the same item twice when it should be made readily available here in the UK. Very, very annoying.
Posted by: daff December 26th, 2012
glad im not the only one who notiched this, it takes the p*ss beyond all DW is british not american, looks like their going to steal it and milk it to death like they have done with Harry Potter
Posted by: Radburn December 26th, 2012
Totally agree! I have said this time after time. Most of this 50th Merchandise is available mainly from the US or Australia at a significant cost. I managed to get the Tardis Stringlights & I would like the Yahtzee game – But a lot of it is cash-in tat – So really I’m being very choosy over what I buy. At least we have the UK Stamp set to look forward to!
Posted by: booboo December 26th, 2012
I see no “cash-in tat” on this page, the reason its mostly USA so far is because they are USA based companies.
Posted by: TellyGeek December 28th, 2012
Welcome to my life since 1987. Sorry but I’m not feeling sympathetic considering I’ve paid in the past 25 years enough $$ and UK Royal mail shipping charges to buy a small house in New Orleans, USA. I figure all my $ spent has made it my show too!
Posted by: Cate March 24th, 2013
I understand how annoyed you are, shipping costs make the item way to pricey. Knowing that this is a big event for Doctor Who it is unlikely that the products will not be sold in British stores. I am happy that these are being made in the US though, because now I might be able to find Doctor Who products in American stores other than Barnes and Noble and their tiny selection.

Lol, these all look good, I love the cover for the 1st 2nd 9th 10th and 11th Doctor
Posted by: The Monitor December 1st, 2012
The irony of your comment is that in the Johnny Depp version, all the “umpa loopas” are played by Deep Roy, whose equally fantastic contribution was to Tom Baker’s The Talons of Weng Chiang as Mr Sin.

Posted by: The Fourth Doctor November 26th, 2012
A complete set would be far too big and far too heavy for shops to retail.
Posted by: Thomas Chapman November 27th, 2012
Maybe they could do it in Season Box Sets like Robot to Terror Of The Zygons!
Posted by: The Fourth Doctor November 30th, 2012
Yes maybe season boxes but no way would they do every episode in one set

Posted by: Boodleoo November 16th, 2012
Those mugs look like the CO figures.;)
Posted by: Maelstrom November 16th, 2012
As a long term fan Ive not seen 1 item so far that’s made me sit up and think fantastic….
CO should be boosting the classic range for the 50th anniversay a plethora of aliens untouched….
And those toby jugs I didnt think theyd manage to make a set worse than that batch a few years back…but these a flippin’ horrible.

Anyone else read this daft text message in the current issue of Doctor Who Magazine by Johnny Dean -
‘Is it just me who thinks ‘Whovian’ is a rubbish name ?. I’m starting a campaign to change it to ‘EnWhosiast’.
I can’t even pronounce the stupid name his made up, but no, Whovian is NOT rubbish, so this guys campaign is a waste of his time.

I’m not that keen either on the 50 Years Tardis logo. But the ‘swirly-wirly’ logo as you guys have called it is cool
Posted by: The TARDIS November 14th, 2012
I’ve just seen it on the Top Trumps collection – it looks great in context! And, whilst I still don’t like the TARDIS thing, I do like the theme of gold logos.
Posted by: The TARDIS November 14th, 2012
With the TARDIS thing, they could have done something in the theme of the current logo. Like a 50 instead of a DW.
Posted by: doctorwhoone November 14th, 2012
The Tardis – If you go to Deviant Art and type in ‘Doctor Who 50th Anniversary’, there are afew uploads which does feature 50 in the style of the DW Tardis logo as ‘ DOCTOR 50 WHO’

Posted by: doctorwhoone November 14th, 2012
Yeah, I read they will be in episode 13 as far as I know from Wikipedia or where ever I read it online.
I imagine that the rest of series 7 will be finished in early 2013 so series 8 might be on later in the year if where lucky rather then wait for series 8 in 2014.
Posted by: Anonymous November 14th, 2012
The 50th anniversary celebrations will make the first bit of the next series. What that means in terms of episodes is a mystery though, but it is unlikely they’d delay it to 2014 (otherwise you’d be waiting until Autumn again).
Posted by: harraseda November 14th, 2012
After the end of series 7, there will be 4 tennant-esque specials in november to mark the anniversary
Posted by: Trenzalore 64 November 14th, 2012
Does anyone know what is going to happen on the special, i hop they have the daleks.
Posted by: doctorwhoone November 14th, 2012
Right now, it’s just a guessing game what might be going on during 2013 to celebrate the 50th anniversary.
One thing that is known is that Mark Gatiss is writing a documentary drama which will see actors playing the original four cast members and the original team who created Doctor Who in 1963.
Posted by: doctorwhoone November 14th, 2012
I can’t wait for 2013 to finally arrive. I’m going to celebrate Doctor Who all year round, 365 days all year, cos 50 years means half a century of Doctor Who, and we are celebrating the shows golden anniversary too, so why not.
I’m going to make 2013 for me a year to remember
Ive got some Doctor Who novels and stories inside recent Doctor Who Annuals Ive not read, so I’m going to be reading them during the year, and watch the following stories on DVD that got me into Doctor Who 20 years ago when I was 4 years old -
Posted by: doctorwhoone November 14th, 2012
Day of the Daleks
The Curse of Peladon
Planet of the Daleks
The Green Death

Posted by: Jen November 5th, 2012
Will there be any type of figurine’s? I know my dad would love one.
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor November 5th, 2012
You mean figures ?
Yeah they’re my favourite piece of Doctor Who merchandise apart from owning the actual episodes.
Shame they aren’t making anymore 5″ Matt Smith figures
Posted by: Lucille November 6th, 2012
How would they make them special for the 50th though?! It’s all been done before. I’d like to see something new and different for the Anniversary!
Posted by: Jen November 7th, 2012
It would be cool if they made gold figurine’s or ornaments, something thats a keep sake seeing as its the 50th!!
Posted by: Andrew November 5th, 2012
Loving the new Doctor Who glass tumblers, especially the 3rd doctor one. Might get this. Have you all heard about Colin Baker possibly going into I’m a Celebrity 2012? just thought you guys might be interested.
Posted by: DOCTORben November 5th, 2012
NO WAY?! Colin Baker is my favourite doctor.
Posted by: Jen November 5th, 2012
This could be true!! he hasnt done much lately and this would be great with the up and coming anniversary!!
Posted by: RunAndRemember Innes November 5th, 2012
It is true, it’s been confirmed!
Posted by: DOCTORben November 5th, 2012
This is GREAT!! The calendar is a must! Not too sure about the monopoly board though?? Something like a chess set would be awesome and get used!! DALEK V TIME LORD!!!!! Ultimate battle.
Posted by: James November 5th, 2012
I’m glad they used the Classic Series logo for the merchandise the new series logo for the eleventh doctor with the DW in the shape of a Tardis doesn’t work with me anyone else agree with that? But anyway what’s been released in terms of merchandise is great and it’s pretty cool there going to have basically the whole classic dvd range complete in the same year as the 50th.
Posted by: David Edinburgh November 5th, 2012
What a dead period for figures this is…
Posted by: Mr Evil Fez November 4th, 2012
Lots of Merchandise is coming onto this page. Would be great to have some unusual items such as computer mats and hopefully a full colour Unearthly Child DVD.
Posted by: MrWho63 November 4th, 2012
I suggested the Unearthly Child in colour.
Too Costy i was told
Posted by: MasterKasterborous November 4th, 2012
Indeed it would be VERY expensive and anyway I think I’d prefer it in black and white.
Posted by: Mr Evil Fez November 6th, 2012
Maybe a lava lamp (fits in with Unusual)?
Posted by: The Driver November 4th, 2012
The monopoly is in stock in a few shops.
Posted by: The Driver November 4th, 2012
I like that diary.
Posted by: oscarwho November 4th, 2012
like the 11 audios idea and the 12 comics ideas
Posted by: Mels November 4th, 2012
I have the Prisoners of Time comics on preorder already, and I really like the glasses, particularly the third Doctor one.
Posted by: the astronaut of death October 30th, 2012
one thing i want for the 50th
is a haloween special
Posted by: The Driver November 5th, 2012
That’s a wicked idea! The monster could be the weeping angels; after all, they are the scariest monsters on doctor who.
Posted by: zarbicontroller October 18th, 2012
i want them all
Posted by: Anonymous October 27th, 2012
BBC Books are releasing 11 doctor who book re-issues to celebrate the 50th. They have new cover artwork.
They are:
Ten Little Aliens
Dreams of Empire
Last of the Gaderene
Festival of Death
Fear of the Dark
Players
Rememberance of the Daleks (Novelisation)
Earthworld
Only Human
Beautiful Chaos
The Silent Stars Go By

Posted by: booboo October 27th, 2012
strange this is the only site with this info, looks like a scan from somewhere
Posted by: Mels November 4th, 2012
Interesting!
Posted by: The Monitor November 4th, 2012
I do like those covers as a “one-off” set. Very contemporary. If they were on-going I think one would tire of their simplicity, as it is pure novelty factor. Bizarre that one is a television novelisation. I know it is a favourite book for some, but you would think that the seventh Doctor one would be an original fiction one, after all, there are more for this Doctor than any other.
Posted by: the astronaut of death October 17th, 2012
the dw monopily is in agros
Posted by: mrewanwatson October 17th, 2012
I’m working on a Doctor Who Audio Book series for the 50th anniversary, the first ones called Monster Hunter!
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor October 18th, 2012
Who’s the Doctor and what age is he and what does the Doctor wear and what is the Doctor’s style ?
Posted by: mrewanwatson October 19th, 2012
He’s the 12th Doctor, he’s 2000, he wears a blue dicky bow, blue shirt, red braces, overcoat, black skinny jeans and brown boots in the first one and his style is 70s
Posted by: TheLostDalek29 October 17th, 2012
I really want them to release a classic tardis console set!!! I mean how has that not been released yet!?!?! This really needs to be done just as the 11 doctors box set needed to be done!!
Posted by: mr October 17th, 2012
I agree! Even if just the one (they are quite similar) that would be ace!
Posted by: The Casterline October 18th, 2012
they should release the grey one with removable pannels so they can move them about as they did in the classic serise as they didnt have much money
but they should do a 8th doctors tardis even if it cost £100
Posted by: TheLostDalek29 October 18th, 2012
Yh i would like that but first i just want a basic tardis console from either the 3rd 4th or 5th doctor!!!
Posted by: DavidH October 17th, 2012
I’d love to get something for the Anniversary, but haven’t seen anything I really love yet
I was tempted by Monopoly but talked myself out of it because it would never be used
So far my favourite product is Yahtzee, but at €20 for what is basically 5 dice and a plastic box, it’s a bit on the expensive side
I’m sure lots more stuff will be announced, so here’s hoping there’s something good among them
Posted by: DOCTORben November 5th, 2012
Totally agree about the monopoly!!
Me and my wife are HUGE doctor who fans and can’t wait to see what else is about. We’ve heard rummours about some doctor who jewellery? Hope this is true, seen so many pieces of tack jewellery around! so hopefully this will be something good.
Posted by: Jen November 5th, 2012
jewellery sounds great!! id love a pair of earings or a pendant for myself. everywhere i have looked for them they are all plastic or steal.
Posted by: James October 4th, 2012
A Replica of K-9 Mark I complete to scale and with the same audio as in the Classic Series.
I’m not a collector of doctor who merchandise but a K-9 to sit in my room saying “Welcome Master” whenever l walk in would be pretty cool
Posted by: dalek eternal November 4th, 2012
that would be cool unlikely but cool but there is the big remote control k9 which talks which i have and is very cool still works complete and all they were 40 pound when the came out but i dont know how much they go for know though
Posted by: THE DOCTOR September 8th, 2012
next year ,not that long.
half a century is here, the hopefully greatest things will come, maybe hints at even the oldest question, the reveal maybe coming is this the end of the doctors lies, will the true secret be told
Posted by: the astronaut of death September 8th, 2012
i hope when it is the 50th annerversery the google home page will have a doctor who theme

Posted by: andrew September 2nd, 2012
Good ideas, I think the 80s console should come with a K9 with sound fx chip like the new daleks. I hope they release a console set for 50th, makes sense compared to dapol! Lets hope it has 6 sides this time lol!

Posted by: jacondanjake August 19th, 2012
Oh man. All this is so cool. I want to get all of this. But there’s two complications due to the fact I’m American: 1. It’s going to be very expensive. 2. The royal mail stamp set. Darn. It might be the 60th anniversary by the time I get all this.
Posted by: Radburn August 20th, 2012
I suggest you pick & choose carefully. A lot of stuff coming out for the 50th. Anniversary is going to be a lot of people trying to make a quick buck. You shouldn’t have any problem getting the Stamp Set as Royal Mail sell worldwide – But that would need to be a first purchase because after a year Royal Mail delete it from stock & then you would only be able to get it on the secondary market at a price!
Posted by: jacondanjake November 11th, 2012
Thanks a whole lot. I didn’t know that.
Posted by: CYBERMEN97000 August 18th, 2012
sorry a bit off topic but i was in one of those b and m bargain stores the other day to my surprise they sold doctor who merch well i was even more shocked as i found a limited edition 10th doctors sonic screw driver for £6 ponds i obviously bought it as i mine had broke, there were at least 9 they also sold the new 13inch strategist dalek and the exclusive to toys r us 10inch doctor and some series 5 wave 1g but i thought the remote conrol dalek and 10inch doctor were toysrus exclusives? can they sell these?
Posted by: dalek eternal August 16th, 2012
i really want a bessie toy in scale with the figures that has a pop up roof as well and it should come with a third dr and a brigadier i would also love a classic tardis console playset

what if box set of seasons 1-26
Posted by: oscarwho August 6th, 2012
what how could they do that that would be like two years wacthing that
Posted by: Anonymous August 6th, 2012
Two weeks actually, provided you don’t want to sleep, eat or take any sort of break at all.
Posted by: Aaron August 7th, 2012
Plus you can’t do it because stories are missing from season 1-6
Posted by: gordon August 7th, 2012
There is the missing episode audio soundtracks that could plug the gaps. But i doubt a complete box set will happen. even if they plug the gap with animation or reconstructions it would just be far too many discs and going by bbc’s pricing policy it would be far too expensive ie at least 2 thousand pounds. I doubt many fans could afford that
Posted by: Whovian100 August 6th, 2012
The Royal Mail Stamp Set looks very interesting however I will look forward to the release of the 50 Years of BBC Audio. I may get the Sticker Book although I doubt it as I do not really like Stickers! I MUST GET THE CALENDER! It looks AWESOME and I have been struggling to find a Calender for 2013 so this Hits the Spot! The Monopoly looks like it is REALLY FUN and I am looking forward to finding out more as the Year goes on!
So on that note, BRING ON THE 50TH!
Posted by: The Doctor August 6th, 2012
were is the stamp page?
Posted by: Radburn August 6th, 2012
There isn’t one yet, as no further information has been released by Royal Mail: Here’s hoping it’s along the lines of the Thunderbirds 50th. with Hologram Stamps?
Posted by: Sebatron August 6th, 2012

just been looking again at the ‘episode’ squares – have I missed an episode called ‘Omega’ somewhere down the line?
Posted by: Anonymous August 5th, 2012
It looks like the episode and name have been mixed up
Posted by: Charlie August 5th, 2012
Omega is not an episode name… yet and Omega IS rumored to return. That would make the BEST 50th Aniversary Special.
Wo-ho
Posted by: DavidH August 5th, 2012
I’m sure they’ll fix it. They also still have Community Chest in the center while it says UNIT around the edge
Posted by: DavidH August 12th, 2012
As well as fixing the above, I see they’ve changed Chance to Gallifrey. And I just realised, the question mark looks an awful lot like that of McCoy’s umbrella
Posted by: THE DOCTOR September 8th, 2012
omega or the valeyard
Posted by: the astronaut of death August 4th, 2012
it would be cool if the jail for the monopily was the stormcage prizon
Posted by: andrew August 4th, 2012
I think due to rights, they have to keep some of it traditional monopoly, like in the first version which i regret getting and am gonna sell, it didn’t have pieces, i think that’s due to rights, now they have more, the pieces hopefully, gonna be a lot better and i’m definitely gonna get this one.
Posted by: matt smithy August 5th, 2012
I actually like the first one more than this. I like “locations” rather than episodes. I personly find this one a bit cheap and silly.
Posted by: I LOVE DOCTOR WHO August 4th, 2012
i wonder it is going tobe monoply money or with credit cards
Posted by: Boodleoo August 4th, 2012
The only problem I see with the monopoly is that igroups the episodes by classic aliens and Steven said that thier will be a classic monster in the new series and so I can see it not being full up to date but maybe they can update it.
Posted by: Anonymous August 5th, 2012
There’s a couple missing as it is.
Posted by: dw2005 August 4th, 2012
Does anyone know if there will be doctor who styled counters with this monoply?
Posted by: BOOBOO JR August 4th, 2012
So yes, there will be, but we only know one of them so far.
Posted by: dw2005 August 4th, 2012
Oh that’s good, I’m definitely going to get it now. I didn’t get the last monopoly because the pieces weren’t doctor who style and the board had too much new who on it.
Posted by: DavidH August 4th, 2012
I can’t quite see in the picture, are the property value £60 – £400, or £60k – $4M?
I hope it’s the old-fashioned values, I don’t like the inclusion of the millions
Posted by: dw2005 August 4th, 2012
The image I saw on play.com showed it as £60k -$4M.
Posted by: matparks08 August 4th, 2012
Poor old Ice Warriors get the Old Kent Road treatment! Surely a sign that they need to make a comeback
Posted by: Charlie August 5th, 2012
The Ice Warriors are classic villains, I agree. But, glad to see one of my favorites (good old Earthshock) high up the ranks. Never underestimate the power of the cybermen.
Let me see, oh yes!, Last Of The Time Lords, awesome ep, I think, (Even if Tennant goes freakishly CGI, the Master’s plan is MAD, acting from the master is undoubtably bad, and the ending doesn’t make sence!)I have faith I s’pose!
Wait, what is The Poison Sky doing there?
And does Unit mean?
Anyone know?
Posted by: Sebatron August 3rd, 2012
I’m going to buy the Monopoly Game
Posted by: MasterKasterborous August 1st, 2012
I think they should release a special 50 pence piece to celebrate the 50th anniversary.
Posted by: LG August 1st, 2012
is definately collectors edition
Posted by: seanwray1 July 7th, 2012
Is this set limited edition booboo? i hope not because i have had enough of trying to get limited edition sets, just like the titanic blu ray and find that i keep getting disappointed. Please reply
Posted by: booboo July 7th, 2012
dont think so it just says collectors edition rather than limited
Posted by: seanwray1 July 7th, 2012
okay its only because i searched this on google and there is an image with limited to 5000 copies written over it for a buy online shop. But im less worried now anyway so thanks booboo
Posted by: booboo July 7th, 2012
even if its 5000 that’s a lot, i think there will plenty to go round
Posted by: matparks08 July 5th, 2012
Isn’t the Monopoly set supposed to be out anytime now?
Posted by: booboo July 5th, 2012
i think its been put back to sept time, i know it has just been sent to print
Posted by: matparks08 July 5th, 2012
The 2nd set of Bif Bang Pow figures keep being put back too, they were due (i think) April, then last i looked it was August, now they’re due in November…..I wonder if they will actually ever appear!
Posted by: booboo July 5th, 2012
i have rather taken to these i must admit so disappointing they are delayed, let alone wave 3
Posted by: Anonymous July 1st, 2012
The calender is beautiful
Posted by: the whovastatron July 1st, 2012
I think the best thing they could do is bring out a boxset with ALL the episodes, and auidos etc. for the ones that don’t excist.
Posted by: Gordon July 2nd, 2012
Too many discs and too expensive
Posted by: LG August 1st, 2012
What about just the first season on dvd
Posted by: Ben June 30th, 2012
Here’s some merchandise I would like for the 50th anniversary:
-An Unearthly Child – Special Edition DVD (with an option to watch in color.)
-50ht Anniversary Box Set (12 discs, on each disc the best voted episode from each Doctor, including special features and a Doctor50Who Documentary on Disc 12)
-Doctor Who Classic Series Encyclopedia
-Guess Who – Doctor Who Edition
Plus a channel dedicated to showing all episodes of Doctor Who that still exist. BBC Who, maybe?
Posted by: Give me a Dalek any day June 30th, 2012
BBC Who? That would be great!
Posted by: MrWho63 June 30th, 2012
Love the,in colour option! on my website i made a dvd cover for ‘colour doctor who’ dvd’s.
what about dvd documentaries…
49 up -how much does the show grow every 7 years (AUDIO VERSION OF DWM VERSION)
What year is this? -An exploration of the many years in which doctor who has been set.
Location, Location, Location -A guide to many of doctor who’s locations.
Nearly who -Which actors were shortlisted to play the honourable role?
Who is ‘ Zodin?’ -’the tale yet to be told’ but who could she be?
Charater Options! – We go…
Posted by: MrWho63 June 30th, 2012
… behind the scenes of their memrobable figures!
How very bizzare! – doctor who fans discuss the shows many quirks.
Unseen footage – behind the scenes footage from every doctor!
Posted by: Gordon July 2nd, 2012
Too expensive on the current budget to hand colourise 4 episodes of unearthly child and takes too long. Plus the person that would have to do it babelcolour is currently far too busy colourising ep 1 of mind of evil Not going to happen
Posted by: DALEKSKITTLES June 30th, 2012
Hey guys
you can even see where the actor sweat underneath the mask :S
I have mentioned before that my Sunday drama college teacher is Louise Jamison who played the doctors assistant leela and she knows I love doctor who so on the last lesson before the Christmas break she got me the original Magnus Greel mutation mask they used on set ! It’s worth abit but I would never sell it

Posted by: Bigger on the Inside June 29th, 2012
Yeah it looks better like that but even better like this http://www.tardistime.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/tumblr_returning2013-3.jpg
Posted by: Anonymous June 29th, 2012
Isn’t that just the logo they use on the show itself rather than on the merchandise?
Posted by: Esterath June 29th, 2012
That pic’s fake, by the way.
Posted by: Bigger on the Inside June 29th, 2012
I know I’m just saying that the logo looks good in gold, do you agree?
Posted by: booboo June 29th, 2012
yes it does, its on gold on the Big Chief Boxes and it looks great
Posted by: Esterath June 29th, 2012
Yeah! They should do it in gold for the the 2013 Series 7 and 8!
Posted by: Bigger on the Inside June 29th, 2012
Should email them to suggest it!

Posted by: the TARDIS June 29th, 2012
I think that they should do a doctor box set each month until november from january featuring each Doctor, TARDIS, Companions and two enemies. Although I would really love a key to time model which can be broken into six pieces and jigsawed together. Along with a magnetic tracer which buzzes when it’s near the pieces.
Posted by: John June 27th, 2012
I hope these things are considered:
1. Paul McGann as separate figure
2. Anthony Ainley Master in classic outfit
3. Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart – Pertwee era
4. 1980 era TARDIS interior
5. final TARDIS interior of Davison-McCoy
6. Bessie
7. Adric
8. a Key to Time set
9. a Pirate Planet set
10. High Council of Time Lords from Davison era
11. Two Doctors set (C. Baker/P. Troughton)
12. War Games figure set – Jamie McCrimmon et al.
13. improved Matt Smith era Police Box – better lighting, etc.
Posted by: Mr Who 63 June 7th, 2012
These are the figures I think should be released….
Bessie
Jon Pertwee in D.I.T costume
Brig in brown coat ( From the silurians )
And like a 76 Totters Lane ( junkyard ) Set.

For the calendar, how about this: each doctor and their companions as the main image, and then all of their enemies in the squares for each day beneath and for December, have every doctor and then the most recurrent aliens in the squares…
Posted by: cyberking3 April 16th, 2012

I really want them to release 50th anniversary sets, 11 of them. One for each doctor. Each set could come with a doctor, one of his companions and one of that doctors enemys!
Posted by: TheblueV3 December 26th, 2012
Yeah they should, I pictured the sets being like this:
The 1st Doctor with Susan and Dalek
The 2nd Doctor with Jamie and Cyberman
The 3rd Doctor with The Brigadier and The Master
The 4th Doctor with Romana and Davros
The 5th Doctor with Adric and Cyber Leader
The 6th Doctor with Peri and The Rani
The 7th Doctor with Ace and Imperial Dalek
(Not sure about the 8th Doctor)
The 9th Doctor with Rose and Auton
The 10th Doctor with Martha and Dalek Sec
The 11th Doctor with Clara/Oswin and Dalek
But these are just my ideas

Posted by: booboo April 10th, 2012
the picture used on the packaging was someone else’s work which they (Monopoly) evidently did ask if they could use.
The image was therefore removed immediately from here and retail sites but its still around in some places

That was an April Fools joke and the other rumours about a female Doctor haven’t been confirmed at all. Matt Smith isn’t going anywhere yet.
Posted by: Chris September 11th, 2012
I’m already making my very own calendar right at this very moment. December is a tricky one, though. It either could be all the Doctors, or the Companions, or the Daleks, or even the Master. All complete with a 50/TARDIS icon, like the DW one, only golden.
Posted by: Dalek Jake April 10th, 2012
Definitely getting the calendar, not Monopoly though.

Looking forward to this calendar!
I bet each month will go up in order of Doctors like:
Jan – 1st Dr
Feb – 2nd Dr
etc
And the December will have them all togeather.
I hope that’s how it goes anyway. I would certainly buy it!
Posted by: Mumble5557 April 10th, 2012
No I personally think it should go like this:
Jan-First Doctor & All Companions
Feb-Second Doctor & All Companions
March-Third Doctor & All Companions
April-Fourth Doctor & All Companions
etc
And then like you said for December all the Doctor’s with all the companions and some monsters.

Does anyone else find it destressing that they animate lost eoisodes of dw on dvd, getting the message out about lost episodes should be at the top of the BBC’s To do list!
Posted by: booboo March 31st, 2012
It is, there has been extensive research over the years to try a locate them
Posted by: Mr Who 63 March 31st, 2012
Booboo, has there EVER been any locations on Shada.
And i recently found it VERY unthankfull of a fan saying he had the tenth planet last episode.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTujXxXdaXc
Posted by: booboo March 31st, 2012
there have been many hoaxes, some very good ones
How do you mean Shada? – that is incomplete because it was never completely filmed because of a strike
Posted by: Give me a Dalek any day March 31st, 2012
It’s good that there are sets such as Lost in Time though. The only annoying thing is that it makes you want to see what happens next when you know you can’t. Would you agree booboo?
Posted by: booboo March 31st, 2012
totally agree we have the audios (and we only have most of those because of one person) but its not the same
Many of these lost stories would be worth a fortune the the BBC now especially episode 4 of the 10th Planet and Power and Evil of The Daleks
Posted by: Mr Who 63 March 31st, 2012
I never knew Shada was’nt completed, and Give me a Dalek any day, in totally agree, i would recomend if you REALY want to see the next episode, on DailyMotion, fans have made lost episodes into their original form by using surviving clips and motion pictures.
Posted by: Anonymous April 10th, 2012
I think the animations are a good option for the restoration of episodes. Obviously they are not the best option (I’d rather have the actual episodes any day) but not every episode exists, we know one episode is definetly lost forever (The Daleks’ Master Plan episode 7 which was never copied) so if it can provide a way of “seeing” these lost episodes then I’d say they should do it.
Posted by: gordon April 10th, 2012
I agree that animation is the best way and i know we are getting reign of terror animated. I think ice warriors and tenth planet will follow after that. But for stories like moonbase and crusade that was on lost in time it will depend on how reign of terror sells. Anything more than 3 episodes will possibly be too costly budget wise or too time consuming (the 2 eps of reign of terror alone will take a year)
Posted by: Commander Strax April 11th, 2012
that video is so sad
Posted by: Mr Who 63 April 21st, 2012
Sad about the daleks master plan — yes — if animation is the only way then yes, i will listen, BUT IM NOT GIVING UP! 2 entertain should make second releases with subtitles explaining whats happening in the picture/audio, cause just think what would happen if the pictures and audio went missing!!
Posted by: Black TARDIS March 17th, 2012
Bets that BBC will attempt to start airing 50th anniv either 5:16pm or 5:17pm (can’t remember which was the time in which an unearthly child pt 1 was 1st aired) so that its exactly 50 yrs of doctor who
Posted by: Mr Who 63 March 31st, 2012
Yeh! They should bring the 80s Console room and then, accidentally the TARDIS lands at TOTTERS LANE ( as in an unearthly child, and rememberence of the daleks )
Posted by: doctorwhofan27 April 9th, 2012
and attack of the cyberman, though apparently the Foreman Junkyard was downsized by 1985.
Posted by: the astronaut of death March 12th, 2012
i wonder for the 50th annervirsery tif hey will show the first ever episode of doctor who
Posted by: Give me a Dalek any day March 31st, 2012
It would be a crime if they didn’t. Huge armies of Judoon would approach the Earth in search of whoever refused to show it!
Posted by: The Stetson of Chaos March 31st, 2012
Lol!!!
They should show on the 50th every day at least 2 episodes right up to Series 7 (exc. The Waters of Mars lol!)
Posted by: Bowtiesarecool April 9th, 2012
Right up to series 7 excluding one of the best Tennant Episodes… why?
Posted by: Commander Strax April 11th, 2012
they shond do a spical 2-hour long documuntary about the history of dr who
Posted by: Dalek of Doom March 10th, 2012
May I just say I am beginning to worry A LOT about the 50th Anniversary in 2013! I looked at the annual front cover for 2013 and thought – it doesn’t look special and it doesn’t even say it’s the 50th Anniversary Annual! Worried, guys?
Posted by: booboo March 10th, 2012
no need to worry, annuals are always way behind events, they bring them out early for the Xmas market so there simply wouldn’t be any 50th info available yet for them to put in it
Posted by: the astronaut of death March 8th, 2012
how cool would it be if there was a doctor who dvd containing every epiode of docotr who from the last 50 years including the xmas specials ang the 50th annerversery
Posted by: BOOBOO JR March 8th, 2012
But think how much that would cost you!!!
Posted by: the astronaut of death March 9th, 2012
i know but it would be worth it
Posted by: gordon March 11th, 2012
I dont think that will ever happen. We are talking Over 150 discs at least. With the bbc pricing policy i can see that costing well over 1000 pounds at least. Cant see many sane fans being able to fork out all that when you can get a once in a lifetime holiday abroad for that same money
Posted by: Mr Who 63 March 31st, 2012
Maybe 2 entertain will bring out two boxsets:
Begginings ( all doctors first episodes – please help find the power of the daleks! )
and endings ( all the doctors last episodes )
Posted by: Mr Who 63 March 31st, 2012
they should have two boxsets every doctors first episode ( IF THEY FIND POWER OF THE DALEKS ) and every doctors last episode.
Posted by: gordon April 18th, 2012
They are planning something special for the 50th aniversary but it wont be box sets for the first and last episodes. Im kind of expecting for 2013:
1. ambasadors of death in colour (if its not out by the end of the year)
2. Mind Of evil in colour
3. Terror Of The Zygons(Something special for it is being planned but its not CGI)
4. Tenth Planet (with hopefully ep 4 animated) and possibly Galaxy 4 ep 3 as an extra
5. Ice Warriors (with hopefully eps2 and 3 animated)
Posted by: gordon April 18th, 2012
6. Underwater menace with eps 1 and 4 animated (if the budget is not there for animation put ep 2 in with ice warriors
7.Galaxy 4 if its not with 10th planet with eps 1,2 and 4 either animated or reconstructed in some form depending on budget.
I also feel they will possibly pad out the rest of the year with revisits.Katy manning let slip that she was recording talk for an axos dvd and im thinking it wont be the only one.
Posted by: gordon April 18th, 2012
I would also like for them to give The crusade and moonbase revisits but as long as they have the budget for animation but that would be way after 2013 and is off topic. As for finding power of the daleks i would love to happen but being a realist the odds of finding all 6 episodes are very small indeed. We might find an episode or 2 but all 6 i just cant see it.

Hmmm…
The Best of Doctor Who (1963-2012):
It could have 8 discs all containing 8 episodes each.
Cost: £65
Episodes: Classics and New Series, including The End Of Time, The Eleventh Hour, The Girl Who Waited, The Empty Child and more!
Posted by: Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010) March 8th, 2012
Would probably work better if it was done in volumes. Part one: Doctors 1-4, part two Doctors 5-8 and part three: Doctors 9-11.
Posted by: Mr Who 63 March 31st, 2012

I don’t think there will be a multi Doctor story with more than three Doctors.
The first three incarnations of the Doctor and the 9th are not available because they’re no longer with us and Christopher Eccleston has stated he WILL NOT play the Doctor EVER AGAIN.
What really would be better is if David Tennant and Paul McGann came with Matt Smith for a special, perhaps involving the Timewar, and the 8th Doctor can wear that new outfit that was seen at a convention (Armageddon) and it would be so cool !
Posted by: booboo March 8th, 2012
Sylvester McCoy is very keen on the idea of the surviving Doctors playing other parts, they could actually do stories involving everyone inc companions
Star Trek deep space 9 did an episode something along those lines which was very good
Posted by: Anonymous March 8th, 2012
Ecellstone didn’t want to come back, beacuse he didn’t like Daves
Posted by: Anonymous March 31st, 2012
rule 1: the cast and crew of dr who lies (Christopher Ecclestone)
Posted by: Anonymous April 10th, 2012
There is a difference with Christopher Eccelston, after a bit of a fall out with the writers and directors over their treatment of some lower members of the crew (meniotning the props and makeup departments in particular) he refused to do a second series and refused to ever be involved with the show again.
It’s a great shame but the reasons are fair enough, it might not have been RTD who did it but the people who worked alongside him were responsible for ruining any chances of bringing back one of the Doctors in future.

Posted by: Tardis’nt (previously no one) March 7th, 2012
its going to be a series split in two like last year, part 2 is next year though
all the remaining doctors in one ep is a rumour at the moment, i would love it to happen though.
Posted by: Anonymous March 7th, 2012
At the moment it will be a full series, regardless of what a certain head of BBC One claims. Some of it will broadcast in 2013 but not because of a split of any form unless something goes disastorously wrong in the production.

im hoping for an earthshock figure set with:
cyberleader
Cyberman x2
Adric
accessories: 3x cyberguns.
i also want a new wave of figures that at least have rory and cyberleader with gun before rory and amy leave in series 7!
Posted by: THE PONDS March 7th, 2012
i know! i can’t believe there is no Rory figure yet!
Posted by: The 13th Doctor March 7th, 2012
we want Rory
Posted by: Mr Who 63 March 31st, 2012
If anyone was at the DR who convention, Arthur ( Darvil who plays rory ) seemed pritty calm about having no figure ) And i hope your Earthshock figures come true because CO have decided not to make any dr who classic companion figures, i hope they make just an Adric, for you and for fans.

Don’t take any notice of these rumours about figures

Us older Dr Who fans know exactly who ANDREW SKILLITER is, he did a lot of the covers for the Target Dr Who novels plus lots of other great Dr Who art

Rumours about that they might be making ‘An Unearthly Child’ in full colour and that is where I got the DVD idea from.
The 5o years action figure set would feature unreleased figures and most wanted from the classic series.

I can squash the rumours about a possible colour version of an unearthly child right now and say there absolute no truth to that rumour. Restoration Team have said multiple times they have no plans to recolour any 1960′s serial as it wasnt recorded in colour or made for colour. Plus the time and cost of it would be best spent else where as Every shot and frame would have to be coloured in individually as no chroma dots exist unlike the surviving b and w pertwee eps which do have chroma dots

OMG dalek one
Posted by: LG August 1st, 2012
Babelcolour did a few clips from an unearthly child in colour
Posted by: Amy March 4th, 2013
But what about dr who figures? I think there should be another Amy from dinosaurs on a space ship x

im looking forward to some new classic and rtd era 5″ figure sets. we will probably get a few companions we havent had yet (wilf too please) and that highly sought classic console room set.
im hoping the new ps3 game is popular so we get an 11 doctors game too next year.

I am really looking forward to seeing how this page develops
Posted by: Mels March 7th, 2012
It will probably end up the largest page on the site.
Posted by: The 507th Doctor (Previously King of the Tenza) March 7th, 2012
And probably the most popular.
Posted by: Commander Strax March 7th, 2012
yep

I can’t wait for the monopoly. And it would be awesome if next year they re-release all the figures and new ones like Tritovore, Liz 10, Forest of Cheem and more!
Posted by: matparks08 March 7th, 2012
Looking forward to seeing the monopoly set – still no images available I guess?
Posted by: booboo March 7th, 2012
not yet, i took the original image down (as have FP now) when it became clear they had part used someone else’s artwork
Posted by: Hazumu February 5th, 2013
The monopoly was a limited edition which was released last October, some shops may still have copies… Last time I looked it was on sale at FP and Waterstones
