Yesteryear – In The Domain Of The Daleks

In The Domain Of The Daleks

The Tardis has materialised aboard a Dalek battle cruiser. Can the Doctor stop Davros and the Daleks from acheiving universal domination?

Manufactured by Bluebird toys of Swindon during 1997 and long discontinued, this Doctor Who play-set hidden away inside a Dalek shell includes a mini 4th doctor, Davros, Dalek and Tardis.

I’ve Actually Got This, Mines Still in the original packaging unopened it’s a great set for people wondering it’s a 5 inch dalek no bigger than that

I love this! The company Bluebird went under shortly after this but I think this set makes a fantastic final piece for them. Bluebird also invented Polly Pocket and one of my all time favorite toys, Mighty Max! I haven’t been able to find this Dalek playset in the states however which is sad because it would be a wonderful addition to my Mighty Max sets. Anyone know where I could look?

WoW, this was teh best ehy could do back then ?

The real-life image is terrible ! the quality is substantial and there’s barely even a close resemblance to Tom Baker.

Dr Who Merchandise of modern times, si vastly better, phew ! 😀

Would be pritty awesome if companies that make Doctor Who Merchandise took a look back at old Doctor Who collectables like this, and perhaps try to update them with what seen in the New Series. A modern Dalek that opens up like the one shown above, complete with figures of the Doctor, Amy, Rory etc would appeal i think to younger fans perhaps.

Judging by the logo, should it be 1997 isetead of 87?

can you take out the small figures

you can take out the Dalek and 4th Doctor, the Tardis doors open and Davros’s hood opens and closes

that is quite clever!! but can you take out the small figures and play with them? cos if you can’t then it’s really just for display.
