Winston Churchill Action Figure Creation Video
Earlier today an excellent video from designworks showing how the Winston Churchill figure was made was put up on Youtube. This has been removed for an unspecified reason.
There are far to many comments being posted across the site in unrelated pages on this so the article has been put back up to concentrate them in one area.
Please do not ask for screenshots.
Do not link to any Screenshots.
You will not find any here.
Speculate on what you may have seen but that’s as far as it goes. Please be aware that any images may have been prototypes -it does not mean they will be released
Hopefully designworks can re issue the video as it was a great insight into how figures are made and just how much work goes into them.

Here are the Series 6 figures I want, and HAVE been wanting since I saw their characters onscreen:
The Minotaur, some Handbots, more Pegdolls, the Doctor in his longcoat (greatcoat, green-brown coat whatever you want to call it) from Lets Kill Hitler (white shirt blue bowtie), and from Closing Time (blue shirt and red bow) and from the Wedding of Riverson (same as Closing Time but with the Stettson) from Series 6.
I also wish there was a Riversong and Amy for S6.

I would have LOVED to have that figure. All they have to do is take the beardy Doctor, remove the beard, add on the eyedrive paint the bowtie navy and you have it !
But instead, CO just released the bearded Doctor from Day of the Moon unchanged. 🙁

The Rory exclusive should be Rory in his normal clothes, because the Centurion one wold sell fine if it were sold along with other figures in UK toystores.

Anyway, I don’t believe this lift, there’s no way they have THAT many figures in the background of their video, figures dating back to David Tennant’s era ? No way.

This shows a fantastic production line and just shows how much skill goes into making just one prototype. This is fantastic. now when I get a scuff or mispaint on a figure, I wont moan or complain because of the effort I know they have go to to make it 🙂

The only complaints that would be put against them would be screen inaccuracies and poor sculpting really.

There’s also a ”Wheel in Space” Cyberman there next to the Ice Warrior and the decayed Master would appear to be holding the Rod of Rassilon.
