    £14 for this book?

For that price, I’d expect a companion to *all* the stories from “An Unearthly Child” onwards.

Revelation of the Daleks for Colin. Interesting story, wonderfully directed and somewhat macabre with the glass dalek!

I’m not really sure why a who fan would need this, the way I properly started was as follows:
    genesis of the daleks
    the sea devils
    the dalek invasion of earth
    tomb of the cybermen
    earthshock
    twin dilemma
    ghost light
    tv movie
and then chronologically from nine on.
if you are starting who, find the doctor you like first, buy a story from each doctor, narrow it down to 4-5 and invest in them till you find one you like, I’d steer clear of later classics as they may be off putting. just my opinions, what are your thoughts on classic episodes?

I love the classic series as I think they had more time to do thinks and the daleks and the cybermen were scary

I don’t see the point in this. If your new to ‘Who’, then I think you should buy it, then you would know which ‘Who’episodes are considered to be the best, however if you’ve seen all episodes in existence (like me :D) then there’s no need for the book, cus you would have your own personal favourites.

It’s still interesting to listen or/read other people’s opinions.

I wonder what 50 stories there are? I pray that The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang, Tomb of the Cybermen, and Asylum of the Daleks are among them, as they’re my top three.
