Which 5 Companions Would You Like to See Released in the Future ?
A few years ago we ran a poll to find out which 5 Companions you would Like to See added to the classic figure range.
Three of the top five have now been released so its time to find out your most wanted companion figures again.
The results from the previous poll with over 12,000 votes. Three of the top four which were clear winners have been released.

What people saw in the yeti picture was just the sculpt (as with some of the other figures in “That Picture”)
The tooling is the most expensive part (that’s the individual moulds that all the parts are made up from, costs a fortune) and it never got to that stage – presumably because it was either to expensive of rights issues.
That’s the problem with leaked images, many assumed the yeti existed ready for retail – it actually never did
I think with the 2nd Doctor they were banking on a new 11 Doctors set for the mass market to make the cost of new tooling and mouldings viable but not enough retailers were interested i gather

July 4th, 2013 - 10:59pmI want a Keeper of traken – Castrovalva bunch of sets, including a proper Master, Nyssa, tegan, Adric and maybe the monitor or a new TARDIS PB, however, I did hope the SDCC exclusive would be a TARDIS console set, I do hope that that is one of the things they have up their sleeve for later in the year.

July 4th, 2013 - 10:19pmMy votes go to Jamie (To go with Patrick Troughton), Sarah Jane (For anyone who has the Genesis of the Daleks, Revenge of the Cybermen, Sontaran Experiment, and Pyramids of Mars sets, which I don’t, so at the moment this vote is more for other collectors than myself), Romana II (To complete my City of Death set)), Tegan, and Nyssa (Because the Fifth Doctor has only one companion, and he travelled with her for just two stories).

Third Doctor – Jo Grant + Brigadier
Fourth Doctor – Leela + K9
Fifth + Sixth Doctor – Peri
Seventh Doctor – Ace
What we could do with the most is some 60’s companions. I think it would be best if they were ones that travelled with the Doctor on their own at some point,
like Susan, Steven and most of all… JAMIE!
I think we also need some more iconic Fifth Doctor companions like Tegan or Nysaa. And a classic Sarah Jane too.

July 4th, 2013 - 9:52pmI just love Liz Shaw because in my opinion, she is one of the very few companions that are unique. For example, she was a very clever scientist that actually understood what the Doctor said, unlike most (of even the rest) of the companions.
