USA / Australia to get 3.75″ Variant Wave
All six figures are now available in Australia from www.popcultcha.com.au
What will they cost…
All six figures £45.27 + Post to UK £10.58 = £55.85
That’s £9.30 a figure

Figures are now available individually from www.whona.com (Most now sold out)
All 6 figures will cost you £70 (11.66 each) to send to the UK. If customs charges apply add an extra £14 making a total of £84. That’s £14 a figure.
Is is not economical to have individual figures shipped.
Please check UK postage rates to see if they suit your budget.
UK / USA customers can also order now from www.bigbadtoystore.com
There may be others so its up to you!
What it will cost you (please check your own figures, dont take this as gospel)…
At best
All 6 Figures $69.99
UK Post $25.00
total $95.00 which is £60, works out at £10 per figure including post
At worst if charged import duty and costs
£60+vat £72 +£8 Handling fee = £80 = £13.33 per figure
According to underground toys facebook page the USA are to get all the chase figures so sought after in the UK as a single variant wave. This has already been offered to retailers.
They are also now listed on an Australian wholesale site.
Apparently this is because these variants were never included in deliveries overseas.
UK buyers however have never been able to go on-line and buy these individually anywhere other than for highly inflated prices with many examples being taken out of the chain by retailers and put straight to ebay.
As there is no news in the UK on this (the variants have never been “officially” acknowledged here) we can only assume this move is exclusive to them.
If you are considering importing please bear in mind you may have to pay import duty and costs.
Images are mock-ups. There are no official images available at present
You can Search Ebay for “Rare” figures or Search Ebay for “Chase” figures to find them.

November 13th, 2013 - 8:09pmGiven up collecting these ones. The details are poor compared to the 5inch scale figures and I got sick of the chase figures too. Was the worst move CO made.
Dalek The Supreme
November 13th, 2013 - 8:48pmWorse than having one or two new sculpts in waves of variants for Series 6 and ignoring great designs that would have translated beautifully into figures?
The Living Shadow
November 14th, 2013 - 5:50pmYes! This whole variant thing isn’t a good marketing idea at all!
Trenzalore
November 13th, 2013 - 7:55pm£10.00! Must be a little kick in the teeth to the people who got the via ebay.
Trenzalore
November 13th, 2013 - 7:56pmAlthough it’s a shame you can’t order them separately. Hopefully somewhere does them like this.

The Living Shadow
November 13th, 2013 - 7:02pmTo be honest I feel most sorry for those who paid over £50 on ebay
Scott
November 13th, 2013 - 7:58pmI don’t really understand why people spend that much on them but then I am not as big a fan as I am of the 5″
Dalek The Supreme
November 13th, 2013 - 6:55pmAs happy as I am that these will be there own wave, I do have two problems. For one, I would have liked a wave of new figures with it’s own rares, especially since the new range has yet to give us a Whisperman, Gunslinger, or metallic Paradigm Dalek. For another, it doesn’t seem fair that us and the Australians get these figures as a regular release when the country that originated the show still has to scrounge around on eBay just to find them selling at 50-100 pounds.
The Big Friendly Button
November 13th, 2013 - 6:59pmThat is exacly what i said, i have sent an email to character which you can see below. I really hope we get these.
Dominic Kane
November 13th, 2013 - 6:14pmThey should do a gift set for Christmas of the rare variants I hate that they made the screaming weeping angel a rare 🙁
The Big Freindly Button
November 13th, 2013 - 5:50pmI have decided to send character an email about this predicament.
This is what I wrote.
I am writing to you because of one of the problems I have encountered, it has come to my attention that Undergroundtoys are distributing the rare doctor who figures in general release in the US and Australia, and yet there has been no news to why they have not been released here. I have also been lead to believe from various sources that they may be an exclusive to them. I personally am a little shocked and saddened by the development even if it has not been confirmed by you or underground toys, to this end if it becomes known that they will not be released in the Uk I would like to know and the reason why this is. I find it quite unfair that one region of the world be allowed figures that the British public have been trudging over the country to find and then being let down and for them to be able to access them without having to encounter the problems that the latter has faced. It is known that Doctor Who is a British show, and yet it is the British who are being kicked in the teeth. But like I have stated the news that the figures are not being sold in the uk has not been set in stone so I do hold out hope, because the last thing I want to have to do is pay import charges for a figure that should be in this country in the first place.
If you have any information that you could share it would be a great help not just to me but the many other member of the orginal fanbase of Doctor who. Your figures are the best I have ever had the pleasure of owning and I would hate for that to go sour.
Yours sincerely Luke Higgins

November 13th, 2013 - 5:50pmHopefully I will get an answer tomorrow, so I will keep you all posted.

November 13th, 2013 - 6:12pmThat’s a very good letter the are doing strange things with the doctor who figures since series 6
Exterminator
November 13th, 2013 - 5:43pmI spent literally hours and hours driving to dozens of shops not to mention loads of petrol money in getting to all the different shops looking for these rare figures. Now I find out it was a total waste of time and money. If the next wave of new figures has got chase variants, I’m not going to bother.
Ben
November 13th, 2013 - 4:59pmIs there anyway we can buy them and get them shipped to our homes in Britain?
booboo
November 13th, 2013 - 5:00pmyes we assume so , will let everyone know when you can, Australia may be the cheapest route
Ben
November 13th, 2013 - 5:02pmThank you!!
The 13th Doctor
November 13th, 2013 - 4:45pmYet another non-british exclusive!?
This is getting out of hand it’s high time we in Britain got something exclusive to us!
Unfortunately there’s no such thing as a British exclusive these days
🙁 :'(
mrewanwatson
November 13th, 2013 - 4:55pmI know!!! I wouldnt mind the rare ones!!!!
RhysCH
November 13th, 2013 - 4:39pmWhere in the US are the selling them? I’ll try get my dad to pick them up!
LG
November 13th, 2013 - 4:35pmI just don’t understand the motive behind this, it will just de-value the UK variants!
Ben
November 13th, 2013 - 4:25pmI think that this is unfair and unacceptable.
Nathan
November 13th, 2013 - 4:33pmI agree, they have not taken I to account how rare they have been here. I always go into toys r us to find the same things all the time, where is the fairness to little customers in the UK?
Nathan
November 13th, 2013 - 4:34pmLoyal not little :s
RexisnotyourDoctor
November 12th, 2013 - 10:34pmUptake on Who figures by American retailers seems to be slowing down, so maybe this move is born of desperation on CO’s part. Still unfair on the British collectors, though. It’s merchandise related to a programme made with British licence fee payers’ money after all. A fact which both CO and the BBC seem to be losing sight of. Character Options’ retailing and release choices this year have been particularly questionable, and between this, the fiasco with the twin packs and the delays with the other classic sets, I’m pretty much done with them.
Peter
November 12th, 2013 - 10:11pmAstonishing move if true, we are asked to support our ailing high street yet all this will do is send money overseas.
The Big Friendly Button
November 12th, 2013 - 10:23pmIt does seemed to have done a 360, but like booboo has stated it being an us exclusive is untrue untill confirmed.
Radburn
November 12th, 2013 - 9:57pm…and thanks to all our loyal customers!
The Big Friendly Button
November 12th, 2013 - 10:06pmI just really hope that the exclusive part is not true and if it is i would like to know their reasons behind this.
Radburn
November 12th, 2013 - 10:13pmWho know’s what Toy Companies think?
I would have happily paid for a full set of 12 figures when they were first released. Instead I spent months in vain trying to track down variants I could not find. At least the scalpers made their money & the Toy Company lost out on double sales…
The Big Friendly Button
November 12th, 2013 - 10:18pmI know, the entire variant wave aidea has been in shambles, The only one i really want i the cybermen. But lets have all our fingers crossed that we get the variants too.
Doctor Stu
November 12th, 2013 - 9:55pmHold up! Does this mean they are getting the rares as a general release kind of thing?
Trenzalore
November 12th, 2013 - 9:56pmyep

November 12th, 2013 - 9:57pmlooks like it, retailers can order just those figures

November 12th, 2013 - 9:58pmSo I’ve been hunting for months for Dalek sec and just a hint or a sniff of a Cyberman with gun and they’re being released in America instead. 🙄

Doctor Stu
November 12th, 2013 - 10:00pmLucky,
Doctor Stu
November 12th, 2013 - 10:34pmThanks Booboo
The Big Friendly Button
November 12th, 2013 - 9:34pmLike I have said many times I am unbiased about other people getting things, but somethimg like this where people are literally throwing away cash to buy these is completely wrong. Like me i have been looking for the cyberman for five months, now what am i supposed to do. I am genuinely happy for the americans having not no worry about finding these, but i realy hope it is not an exclusive.
Jay Ubi

booboo
November 12th, 2013 - 9:31pmwell to be fair not really, they might not be getting the last toys r us sets which many collectors there are desperate for
Trenzalore
November 12th, 2013 - 9:27pmI’m guessing your not all that happy about this booboo?
booboo
November 12th, 2013 - 9:32pmnope, unless of course its going to made available here as well
