USA / Australia to get 3.75″ Variant Wave
All six figures are now available in Australia from www.popcultcha.com.au
What will they cost…
All six figures £45.27 + Post to UK £10.58 = £55.85
That’s £9.30 a figure
If customs charges apply £79.50 = £13.25 a figure at worst
Figures are now available individually from www.whona.com (Most now sold out)
All 6 figures will cost you £70 (11.66 each) to send to the UK. If customs charges apply add an extra £14 making a total of £84. That’s £14 a figure.
Is is not economical to have individual figures shipped.

According to underground toys facebook page the USA are to get all the chase figures so sought after in the UK as a single variant wave. This has already been offered to retailers.
They are also now listed on an Australian wholesale site.
Apparently this is because these variants were never included in deliveries overseas.
UK buyers however have never been able to go on-line and buy these individually anywhere other than for highly inflated prices with many examples being taken out of the chain by retailers and put straight to ebay.
As there is no news in the UK on this (the variants have never been “officially” acknowledged here) we can only assume this move is exclusive to them.
If you are considering importing please bear in mind you may have to pay import duty and costs.

December 6th, 2013 - 5:11pmJust received my set from Popcultcha. Ordered them from Oz on 26/11/13 & they are already here in the UK 11 days later & it did’nt get caught at Customs either. Very pleased!

December 6th, 2013 - 5:17pmmine did, along with a £13.50 parcel force charge, i also got the standard wave, for the life of me i dont know how that happened, seems like it was my mistake but i cant see how, totally out of pocket.
I only did this to get the sfxs Daleks as well
Quite frankly its insane we have to resort to buying overseas – if it had happened here i could just send them back.
have ordered all the re-releases got a felling i’m going to get caught on those as well, also didn’t realise you have to VAT on the cost and the postage charge, last time i will be ordering from overseas i think
have effectively paid £100 for something that would have cost me £45 here

I want the SFX Wave 2 Daleks as well; but as I have already got the Special Weapons Dalek SFX, it is not practical to buy the WHOLE four again to get three – Depends on if they get released here? If not, I will have to purchase abroad. It is INSANE that we have to buy Doctor Who merchandise from abroad. Even more annoying is stuff due to Licensing Restrictions we can’t even get here

December 6th, 2013 - 5:32pmTrouble is these restrictions seem only to apply to the company selling them? Other dealers on ebay are selling the Toothbrush Holder, Shower Curtains & Tea Infuser for (obviously) triple the price to the UK so so much for Licensing?
