ace-50

The Seventh Doctor first met Ace in the Iceworld trading colony on the planet Svartos. Ace was from Perivale on Earth in the 1980s, but had been deposited on Iceworld in a freak time storm. She hated her real name ‘Dorothy’, and instead rebelliously went by ‘Ace’. She had a dangerous aptitude for high explosives and never shied away from danger.

ace-new

A teen tearaway Ace matured considerably during her travels with the Doctor, encountering on the way many wondrous planets and places and a true menagerie of enemies from eight foot tall blue Demons, malevolent Victorian houses, the relentless Cybermen, inter-dimensional Arthurian knights, a psychopathic robot called the Kandyman and even the Master while helping the Cheetah People. But it was against the Daleks on Earth in 1963 that she showed the most pluck by dispatching several of them with her trademark Nitro-9 explosives, an RPG and even a baseball bat enhanced by Time Lord technology…Wicked!

Set Includes..

  • Three Nitro 9 cans
  • Rocket launcher with missile
  • Ruck Sack
  • Baseball Bat
  • Removable Jacket with 2 alternative arms to produce t Shirt variant

the BBc just have to give them permission. its the same with every figure based of a charture. they would have to ask sophie for this figre.

The Kandyman is slightly different, since it had a remarkable resemblance to a certain sweets logo. So remarkable that the company behind them could sue if it was made as a figure.

    • Some bloke

      July 1st, 2013 - 6:24pm

If it’s a solo figure, then it could be anything between £13.99 and £17.99 🙁

    • JaffaCakes

      July 1st, 2013 - 6:34pm

As long as it’s not more expensive than that I could probably get away with asking for it for my birthday or somesuch.. but still a great figure!

    • Some bloke

      July 1st, 2013 - 6:38pm

from the back anyways 🙂 Eager to see the front. I just hope we get a sarah jane figure soon. Would LOVE an Android invasion set with her, the doctor, Styggron, and an android in boiler suit. That would be me SUPER happy. And then they can add other characters like benton, harry, the android pods and such later. OMG WANT THAT SO BAD NOW!

    • JaffaCakes

      July 1st, 2013 - 6:50pm

Oh, quite agree dear chap, quite agree. In fact I was thinking of just that set the other day – the boiler suit could have a removable visor so you could see the circuitry underneath! And a Styggron figure.. brill.

    • JaffaCakes

      July 1st, 2013 - 6:52pm

I’ve always thought ‘The Android Invasion’ is an undercredited story, myself – might be reviewing it on my blog in a few weeks or so.

    • Some bloke

      July 1st, 2013 - 6:56pm

OMG YES!!! Android Invasion is my favourite story ever, which is why I would love to own that set!!!

they should do a companions set like they did a doctor set, one companion per doctor, my ideas:
    1st doctor: Susan
2nd doctor: haven’t seen any episodes
    3rd doctor: Jo
4th doctor: Sarah Jane or Romana
    5th doctor: Tegan
    6th doctor: Peri
    7th doctor: Ace
    8th doctor: Grace
    9th doctor: Rose
    10th doctor: Donna
    11th doctor: Amy
    12th doctor: Clara

There are probably difficult rights issues around Grace for the 8th Doctor. Of course, if they did a 3D scan of India Fisher for Charlie Pollard, I certainly wouldn’t complain.

    • Some bloke

      July 1st, 2013 - 6:35pm

Not necessarily, considering they used india fisher/charlie pollard for the 8th doctor’s story of destiny of the doctors. It may be possible

    • josh smith

      July 1st, 2013 - 7:16pm

zoe ofr the 2nd doctor in her mini skirt form the krotns 🙂

    • Doctor Who Crazy Ross

      July 1st, 2013 - 7:58pm

      1st: Susan
      2nd: Jamie
      3rd: Sarah Jane
      4th: Romana II
      5th: Adric
      6th: Mel
      7th: Ace
      8th: Charlie
      9th: Rose (Union Jack shirt)
      10th: Donna Noble (Journey’s End)
11th: Clara 2pck (Rings and Journey)

Maybe an 11 companions set like the 11 Doctor’s set?

      That would be great!

Brilliant! I’ll admit I was getting fed up with all the constant 70’s sets and haven’t bought any classic figures for a while, but now that something from my era has finally been released I’m back in the fold. If it comes with an accurate Imperial Dalek as well even better.
