I emailed John Powell at Winning Moves over this. He says this has been put back until Sept/Oct 2012. You can Pre-Order it from August at the Winning Moves Website. It comes with two exclusive packs “Allies” (The 11 Doctors & his companions) and “Enemies” (Monsters & Foes)

      February 28th, 2012 - 3:22pm

Not gonna purchase it until I get more information on it? If it’s a re-release it is pointless – But if it has new Characters or a different design it may be worth getting?

I would get this… If it featured any new cards. This is really pointless for anyone who has collected all of the cards already! And if there are only 60 cards, then what happened to the other 120 cards from the other sets? There are three possible reasons:
    1. They are actually new cards. But they’re not, so thats wrong.
    2. The Dalek tin isn’t big enough for any more.
    3. It would cost too much to do all of them re-printed.

Wait a second. Isn’t this a little pointless for people that already have the other packs?

First, the design of eac card is diffirent, because, for example, the Series 6 one was light blue with diffirent designs on it but the Series 4 one is red. I would prefer if they where all identical.

It would be good if they contained cards from The Rebel Flesh up to The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe, containing some more cards from Series 6 The Impossible Astronaut up to The Doctor’s Wife, such as Idris, Canton, Astronaut and Captain Avery.

But overall, it’s a good set and excellent for people that haven’t collected all of them. I think it will contain more classics than the new series, because the classics pack was bigger than usual, and as I don’t have the classics I might be getting this. Hope there isn’t the Flood! 🙂

There is an exclusive Astronaut Top Trumps card. It comes with Doctor Who Monopoly (the Matt Smith one. Not the new 50th anniversary edition).

      February 26th, 2012 - 1:36pm

Oh really? I always thought the Monopoly looked rather cool and once I was thinking to get it. 🙂

      February 28th, 2012 - 3:26pm

They gave a couple of thousand of these Astronaut Super Top Trumps Cards away at the Dr Who Experience first – The only other way of getting it was buying the Ltd. Edition (5,000) Monopoly Set at £24.99p like I did

Are these all new cards or are they just some collected from the five other packs released as the Cyberman and The Fourth Doctor are features in 45 years of Time and Space and River Song is features in the latest release of the 2011 set.
