October 10th, 2014 - 10:30pmim not complaining about the video but is that coat supposed to be hanging from the middle because when i play with my figures with the eleventh doctor figure i hope it isnt lumpy
Sebatron
October 11th, 2014 - 12:13amYeah the waist coat is held on with two pegs on the coat that go into holes. But it takes a bit of fiddling to make it go sort of flat.
cheesy pie
October 12th, 2014 - 2:28pmhow long did it take to be dispatched??
cheesy pie
October 12th, 2014 - 3:05pmepic review I think I have said it more than once but THANK YOU for reviewing this set I was soooo desperate to see what the finale figure was like
The five doctors
October 12th, 2014 - 3:13pmAWSOME review mate you are so lucky to have this set already !!!!
The Silent Silent
October 9th, 2014 - 7:07amI have decided not to order just encase I got STUNG BY CUSTOMS !!!!
doctor what
October 9th, 2014 - 6:58pmProbably a good idea, I got a war doctor from America and got a large customs fee. If you order from popcultcha, inc. postage it’s only 6 quid less than FP.
The Silent Silent
October 8th, 2014 - 6:17pmIf I ordered 1 set, would I get stopped at customs ???
Matthew
October 8th, 2014 - 7:17pmWhy would u?
Clarafan4
October 8th, 2014 - 7:19pmBecuase he ordered it from abroad
Doctor number 10
October 9th, 2014 - 5:34pmI’ve been buying Doctor Who stuff across the world for years now. I live in the U.S. and I bought most of my Who stuff from Great Britain. I’ve never had a problem with customs. Worst thing that has happened to me was wait a few extra days for my stuff to get past customs but other then that its been smooth transactions.
The Silent Silent
October 9th, 2014 - 5:51pmYeah, that is because if you Order from the UK TO USA you don’t pay anything but if if its the other way round we get stung.
Exterminator
October 8th, 2014 - 2:24pmI’ve cancelled the set I preordered from fpi for £29.99! I’ve got one on the way from popculcha.
I ordered it when it worked out at £14.99 and £6 p&p. I still think it’s crazy that it’s cheaper to order it from Australia than to buy it from the uk.
booboo
October 8th, 2014 - 2:27pmdoesn’t make sense really does it
but these has been something odd about the price right from the start on this one
The Silent Silent
October 7th, 2014 - 8:45pmLets say I bought 2 of these sets and they got stopped at customs, How much would I pay ??
Owen
October 7th, 2014 - 9:33pm£80!
The Silent Silent
October 7th, 2014 - 9:34pm£80 custom fees ???
cheesy pie
October 12th, 2014 - 2:30pmnobody has had customs.
booboo
October 12th, 2014 - 2:39pmThat’s because it was below the limit when they ordered it
Oracle
October 7th, 2014 - 6:33pmI hope this is a sign that this will come soon to the Uk, the new pictures make it look even better! I just wish that the older 11th Doctor head looked as it did In the first pictures. Also I wish Capaldi looked angrier, his eyebrows should be striking fear into me not making me laugh! It isn’t all bad though, I can definitely see it is Peter.
Nobody in particular
October 7th, 2014 - 10:37pmYes, sadly it is just the 3.75″ head from the regeneration figure rescaled. It would have been great to see a new headsculpt with more detail on places like the neck.
Oracle
October 8th, 2014 - 6:55pmEven though it is resized it does look like Capaldi. If he only he looked how he did in Day of the Doctor. Even though it was a few seconds long his eyebrows said it all. For some reason I like the expressions of the figures to reflect on the character. A good example of this is the War Doctor, he looked so tired as if he couldn’t deal with the time war. Other figures usually do this well but when did Capaldi smile and raise his eyebrow in Time of the Doctor?
finn townley
October 7th, 2014 - 6:24pmDoes anybody know how to change the chest piece and I still need to pre order this
doctor what
October 7th, 2014 - 7:41pmIt just pulls off
Doctor 909
October 7th, 2014 - 7:42pmYou remove the head, then pull back the coat and pull it up, then slot the alternate one in, I’m guessing.
doctor what
October 7th, 2014 - 9:16pmOh yes sorry I forgot that there is no split on the back of the collar like bracewell so you have to remove the head
TSPITL
October 7th, 2014 - 12:44pmHas anyone else noticed the sonic? It seems to be a different green!
Tardis’nt
October 7th, 2014 - 3:21pmit’s a different sculpt too!
Ian
October 7th, 2014 - 11:29amI have a dilemma, I like Regen figures and I want to be able to display the 11th in that costume and the 12th Doctor. Thinking of getting two sets..but its a lot of money.
When The Doctor Was Me
October 7th, 2014 - 12:09pmI have the same problem! Currently have one on order! Wish they had done 2 bodies with aged 11th head, handles, cane and sonic as accessories! And even though 2 bodies the shirt and wasitcoats could still be interchangeable!
Sebatron
October 7th, 2014 - 4:15amI just got the dispatch email!!!
It’s getting closer!
The Fez Master
October 7th, 2014 - 7:17pmDid you get it from popcultcha?
Danny
October 8th, 2014 - 9:15amare you getting it charlie?
Sebatron
October 9th, 2014 - 2:13amPopcultcha
Anthonydoctorwho fan
October 6th, 2014 - 10:16pmIt looks amazing. I can not wait to get this set.
Jevon Robinson
October 6th, 2014 - 8:39pmDoes anyone know if the sculpt on the 11th Doctor’s cane is the same as the 1st Doctor’s? It sure looks like it.
doctor what
October 6th, 2014 - 10:20pmI don’t think it is, Hartnell’s is more twisted up and is a bit thinner.
Doctor RevWho
October 6th, 2014 - 7:21pmI love the look of this set. Definately want to get this.
Cpl Hicks
October 6th, 2014 - 6:50pmWhy would this be double what the War Doctor originally cost? Only 2 extra heads!
Drwhofan130
October 6th, 2014 - 6:59pm1 figure, 3 heads, a sonic, a cane & two chest pices (one with bow tie, one with not) and better packaging. a lot more then the war doctor
The Living Shadow
October 6th, 2014 - 7:06pmBut the price doesn’t need to double for a few more accessories!
The Silent Silent
October 6th, 2014 - 7:17pmIt should be like £23.99
Drwhofan130
October 6th, 2014 - 7:30pmIts £19 on popcultcha it was £27 with tax and Shipping 😀
Danny
October 6th, 2014 - 7:48pmIt should be £17
Living Shadow
October 6th, 2014 - 8:13pmI think £20’s a good price for it, maybe £23 at a push
Nicholas
October 6th, 2014 - 8:54pmIt’s all to do with import fees. These are commissioned by UT – who are American
Cpl Hicks
October 6th, 2014 - 9:20pmHey, just curious as the pricing for all figures seems a little erratic sometimes. Seeing this in its packaging it does seem better value, but fact is a bit of cardboard costs nothing…ask Costa Coffee 😉
Ian
October 7th, 2014 - 11:26amAce was £19.99 and the War Doctor £14.99. War Doctor I think had far more work done on it.
It might be Import fees, but UT have done other exclusives that have not cost so much. The Impossible set cost £29.99 for two figures, this set has one, with two heads, I guess that is why the cost is high, the cost of tooling.
The Silent Silent
October 6th, 2014 - 6:34pmTempted to order now seeing new pictures 🙂
The Silent Silent
October 6th, 2014 - 6:34pmI mean I have already pre-ordered from FPI.CO.UK but I want it NOW!!!!
the astronaut of death
October 6th, 2014 - 6:28pmnot long now until I can get my hands on one
Drwhofan130
October 6th, 2014 - 6:25pmI bort one today having it shipped over, in £’s I found it cheaper then buying it in the uk 😛
RhysCH
October 7th, 2014 - 6:43pmHow much was it in total?
Warrior Doctor
October 6th, 2014 - 5:44pmI wouldn’t know to unbox it it not!
Danny
October 6th, 2014 - 7:48pmi would
Dalekparadigm2
October 6th, 2014 - 8:07pmHere’s what a guy in a comic book store told me. How can you enjoy something if you’re never going to open it. It would be like buying a Christmas present, wrapping it up and then never unwrapping it. I will be opening mine for certain.
Balakin
October 7th, 2014 - 10:21amthat’s true with comics or boxed items (like a playset) but this box is a display in itself, similar to putting the figure on the shelf.
I would definitely open it but I can understand people who won’t do it in case of these illustrious packagings.
shatner
October 6th, 2014 - 5:42pmwow really can’t wait for this. More 5 inch sculpts please character people
Nicholas
October 6th, 2014 - 5:42pmOrdering this (from FPi) at the end of the week. These images have sold it for me
finn townley
October 6th, 2014 - 5:23pmlooks amazinga
alexanderop
October 6th, 2014 - 4:18pmThe Capaldi head looks really good, but I’m not too sure about the old smith head.. looks a bit off (almost looks like a Hartnell sculpt).
Trenzalore
October 6th, 2014 - 4:00pmWell those brilliant TARDIS opening front panels have been totally ruined by giant stuff across it. I mean honestly couldn’t they have put all that in a more reasonable place?
Just hope the release date doesn’t move.
Dalekparadigm2
October 6th, 2014 - 8:09pmI agree. And on the inside you’ve got the Velcro covering the writing and stuff
