Trenzalore
December 30th, 2013 - 1:43pmNothing to make me annoyed, I liked it, it’s one of my favourite Peter Davison stories.

May 8th, 2013 - 3:24pmWhat I would really like is people to stop knocking Matthew Waterhouse continually in Interviews & Features – It’s starting to get very tiresome….

February 23rd, 2013 - 9:16pmsorry, what actually are special editions? i know it has remastered sound and picture quality. but does it still have all the original footage? and does it have the original trasnmission version in it to?
Gordon
February 23rd, 2013 - 9:56pmIn most cases it has all the original footage but in 1 or 2 cases there is an odd ocasion where a documentary has rights that have expired and getting the clearance to put it on the new edition isnt possible. Tombwatch on tomb of the cyberman and Panopticon 93 footage on three doctors to name 2. All special editions are as transmited
drjakeyoung
February 24th, 2013 - 12:12amand the Jon Pertwee news thing on the original movie release.
Gordon
February 24th, 2013 - 1:27amIts just a 2 second mention of his name at the end of the movie if i remember right
drjakeyoung
February 25th, 2013 - 5:47pmwasn’t there a news article on the original movie release that was an Easter egg?
drjakeyoung
February 25th, 2013 - 5:48pmforgot to put my avatar up 🙂
drjakeyoung
February 25th, 2013 - 5:52pmi thought there was an Easter egg on the original release that let you see a news clip of the announcement that he died?
Gordon
February 26th, 2013 - 1:31amJust double checked. You are right about it being an easter egg but its just a dedication caption rather than a news item
The Greater Intelligence
February 23rd, 2013 - 2:08amThis release has just been put on barnesandnoble.com for pre-order for anyone who is interested about different stores carrying it in advance.
THE ERGON
February 22nd, 2013 - 5:27pmLove the android from this story and the terileptils are one of my favourite 80s aliens. looking forward to the upgraded picture quality and extras. So glad it got the re-release.
The Greater Intelligence
February 22nd, 2013 - 2:48pmI think I’m the only one to notice this, but did anyone else realise that the London Fire is behind and under The Doctor. It’s almost like it’s consuming him, but not the Terriliptel or android. Very cool way to imply the results of the story.
drjakeyoung
February 24th, 2013 - 12:14amSPOILER! I haven’t seen it yet! lol
The Greater Intelligence
February 24th, 2013 - 1:19amSorry, but you have to admit it does sound more intruiging after what I said, doesn’t it.
drjakeyoung
February 25th, 2013 - 5:49pmyes OK it does! I really want to see it now!
The Greater Intelligence
February 26th, 2013 - 1:02amYou are welcome
McGann is the Doctor
March 1st, 2013 - 11:53amWhat do you mean Greater Intelligence ? I have seen the story and don’t understand what you mean ? ❓
The TARDIS
February 20th, 2013 - 4:43pmThis story definitely needed a rerelease. The special features were… Sparse, at best. And the new cover is a serious improvement!
AlzieWhozie
February 20th, 2013 - 4:12pmThis looks like a SE well worth getting – to think a few years ago that Janet Fielding wouldn’t give a “to-camera interview” and now here she is doing interviews, Big Finish stuff, etc. Seeing PD, SS, MS and JF all together again on screen will be well worth it. And for me The Visitation was the story where I thought “yup, Peter Davison IS the Doctor”.
Ryan
February 20th, 2013 - 11:25amLove the story, and, yeah, this did need a special edition! I’d love to see much more special editions this year, only a few mind; An Unearthly Child in November with an Adventure in Space and Time on of course, Horror of Fang-Rock (a making of), Earthshock (it’s rumoured), The Two Doctors (picture quality and making of), Ghost Light (picture quality) and The Curse of Fenric (making of, even though it was packed with features, so, probs not) And THAT cover… WOW…
celestial toymaker
February 20th, 2013 - 11:50amit would be absolutely awesome if there were to be 50th anniversary se’s of the 5 doctors and the 3 doctors
McGann is the Doctor
February 20th, 2013 - 12:49pmI really don’t think the Five Doctors or 3 Doctors need a rerelease, the latter has been recently rereleased and the former has a VERY substantial rerelease from 2008.
I have heard that unfortunately, Ghost Light is as good looking as it ever will be, though I hope they can improve it somehow.
An Unearthly Child DEFINITLY needs a rerelease because the original DVD was pink. That’s right, the glorious first ever episode of Doctor Who, has a pink cover. What a disgrace ❗
Give me a Two Doctors rerelease with a better cover soon ❗
josh smith
February 21st, 2013 - 9:16amno they dont re realese things becasue of cover i like the pink cover
Connor
February 20th, 2013 - 9:51amDoes anyone know if this is the last 5th doctor DVD to be released? I really want this to be the last but at the same time I want a Earthshock special edition as it in my opinion I’s the only one needed to be special editioned for Peter Davison range.what’s you’r thoughts do u think this will be the last 5th doctor DVD release?
celestial toymaker
February 20th, 2013 - 11:31amprobably not i hope for an earthshock se
McGann is the Doctor
February 20th, 2013 - 12:50pmNot to mention Arc of Infinity getting a rerelease, and maybe give Castrovalva a CGI rerelease ? 😯

February 19th, 2013 - 8:11pmGreat cover! I so want to get this story it will be amazing! This cover art though is better then original relase though I wish it showed the robot in the grim reaper suit and the city behind it, but still a great cover! Does anyone know the special features yet? This story is one of the best Peter Davison story’s and it’s got the awesome villains the tetraps with there brilliant costumes and the setting in the Black Plague and the fire of London is great! This relase is coming out in May so thats very close. Have they released a trailer yet?
matparks08

gordon
February 19th, 2013 - 8:28pmYeah. He is normally very good but he does do the occasional poor cover. Looking forward to see his inferno mind and zygons covers.
Some bloke
February 19th, 2013 - 9:03pmI know what you mean by the occasional poor one, i didnt really like his ‘greatest show… one’. Looked a little like an a piece of early 90’s vhs cover artwork, but oh well, its grown on me! cant wait for those, three, they’ll look amazing!! (I hope)
Ben Roberts
February 20th, 2013 - 12:19amI often tweet Lee Binding about his artwork. He himself described Inferno as ‘sexy’ 😀
