Really want to get this. Have it on my Bday/Xmas wish list. Seems like a good story plus it’s from my favourite era.

Brought this today, but I have one question.

On the DVD cover why is there another DVD cover on the other side but it looks exactly the same?

It’s for people who want classic DVDs to look the same on the shelf, the reversible covers have helped me a lot.

Do these new R2 covers have the bbfc rating and purple BBC logo where the 2 entertain logo was? And whats on the reverse side of the cover? Is this just a TBC draft cover?

they’re exaclty the same as the other release for the past few years. Purple bbc logo on front and spine, and on the reverse is the original normal bbc logo on front and spine. That’s the only differences. If it’s special edition like this then it will have special edition written under story title on purple bbc front and spine, but not on the reverse

I’m so glad I never bought the original.

This is a fitting release for a classic story, more covers like this please !

I like it when they do a proper cover instead of colouring it all in, as they did with the original ❗

I like this cover, however the cover for ‘Terror of the Zygons’ is terrible. Its like someone has gone mad with tomato soup!

It looks okay, but the pictur of Jo just looks off, it isn’t good. Other than that, I think it is fine. Can’t wait for Region 1 so I can see the full cover.

I don’t think its too bad, its just Jos pic needed to be snapped at a better moment, while the Doctor looks calm.

      June 28th, 2013 - 12:59pm

I don’t like Jo’s picture and the pictures of the Doctor and Jo aren’t very good quality.

Don’t they need people’s or family’s permission of their picture on a DVD?

Is it too late to change the cover since it won’t be released for a few months and there are so many hated opinions of it?
