The care they put into getting the Doctor and River right kinda makes up for their wrongness with the Cyber Planner

The Doctor and River are rendered well, and look like real people.

For those interested, the latest DWM special (The Eleventh Doctor Volume Five) has a small part about The Eternity Clock motion capture sessions with Matt Smith in the guide to The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe. It reads: “In the meantime, Matt Smith spent Thursday 8 and Friday 9 September at Pinewood Studios working on the new video game The Eternity Clock; on the first day he performed all his motion capture material for the Doctor while on the second he recorded his dialogue and similar facial movement capture for the project.”

4 monsters is enough for me to be honest. They’ve chosen some good monsters for the game and I’m definitely interested to see how the Silents are dealt with in terms of gameplay. 🙂

PS3’s are a stupid idea. 😛 They’re expensive as…. anything despite being out for about 6 years and they’re rubbish. The old ones are the only ones that can play PS1/2 games and hold memory cards but they don’t ake them anymore and they get a thing called the red light of death which kills ’em. The new slim ones don’t get the RLOD but can’t play PS1/2 games and are even more expensive.

All PS3’s can play PS1 games. I’ve had my PS3 for about 5 years and it’s been wonderful… I use it for games, Blu-ray and TV recording. Plus it’s easy to install a huge cheap hard drive into one (I put 500G into mine). My 360 had a ‘red ring of death’ new out of the box lol. (I like both consoles though).

There will be a PC version of this game released later… as much as I like my PS3, I wouldn’t recommend getting one just to play this game. (Especially since the PS4 can’t be too far away now).

Well the PS4 would be astromically expensive though I bet. 😛 And also the slim ps3 can’t have memory cards though. So therefore can’t reaally play ps1/2 games as they practically need one top lay otherwise you can’t save it. 😛
