Doctor Who The Essential Guide #1 Cybermen
Panini’s bookazines continue with a new title: The Essential Doctor Who!
The first edition is devoted to the Cybermen, the emotionless silver giants that first appeared in Doctor Who in 1966 and most recently menaced Matt Smith’s Doctor in his final adventure.
The Essential Doctor Who: Cybermen is a lavish and comprehensive guide featuring details of every Cyberman episode.
There are new and previously unpublished interviews with the writers, designers and actors who brought the Cybermen to life, details of an unmade Cyberman story from the 1970s and even a guide to walking like a Cyberman by Doctor Who’s choreographer. Details of Cyberman comics, novels, audio stories, toys and collectables complete this essential guide to one of the Doctor’s most enduring adversaries.

February 25th, 2014 - 10:40amThese are not like the DWM Specials which come out regularly over the year. So far these have come out randomly and most likely based on previous sales as they retail a lot dearer so are not available in any subscription packages…

February 20th, 2014 - 5:03amI don’t think so. it is a continuation of The Doctor Who Bookazines they made for the Anniversary year. there where 3 last year. A Daleks one, a Companions one and a Doctors one. I guess they where popular so they decided to extend them past being Annivery Specials.

February 19th, 2014 - 3:05pmIndeed.
It should’ve been the Cybermen as they were seen in “The Tenth Planet”.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
February 19th, 2014 - 4:25pmIn fairness, wither you like the new Cybermen or hate them, they are the latest generation of one of the Doctor’s greatest enemies, so it’s only right that the latest version appears on the cover.
