September 26th, 2013 - 4:47pmJust got this, as usual, a great figurine, brilliant detail, brilliant paint app and a magazine full of info! This is the last issue I will buy though….from the shops as I subscribed last week starting from issue 4! 😀
The Monitor
September 26th, 2013 - 7:40pmI subscribed from issue 1 on the phone, which was confirmed as issue 2 by email and also letter, but on phoning them today (having not received 1,2 or 3, it is really issue 6&7 that I will receive end of October. (perhaps because of trial subscription of which I only got 40% of issues).
I have to say that of the three Cybermen I was able to check in WHS, they were all different. Two of them were not great. One had a fantastic paint job but poor head piece, so I went for one with correct head piece (no flashing-excess material).
The Monitor
September 26th, 2013 - 7:47pmThe one I liked the paint job of had several bold green stripes across the brain. Against the picture, this does not look right, but had the head piece been symmetrical I’d have gone for it.
Ironic, because my test one has stark stripes also. Perhaps they had spares left over that they have reused for the launch.
Magazine seems very stiff.
The codes on the bottom; wonder if they are unique. Not seen two the same yet.
