Really can’t wait for this one. Just this issue alone shows the wonderful diversity of story themes and ideas that made Hartnell’s era so magical: historicals, far flung Sci-Fi and a sidestep into pure fantasy.

Hope to finally see a profile on William Hartwell as he is the only Dr to not have on yet. A profile on Jackie Lane would also be nice.

‘The Celestial Toymaker’ is my most wanted Hartnell story I would like to see recovered in full. Episode 4 thankfully survives and it’s great.

The underrated ‘The Celestial Toymaker’ is my favourite story in this book.

The Massacre….etc is the one for me. A superb dark historical. A loss not only to “who” but to British TV history.
