October 20th, 2024 - 2:25pmBeen to all 4 Northampton stores. In typical fashion the only store that had them in was the last one after crawling through terrible traffic. The Nene Valley Retail park store is the one to get to. It had about 10 Davros and maybe 4-6 Dalek sets.

October 20th, 2024 - 12:45amI agree with you. I hate store exclusives. Back when we had TrU I never had an issue getting DW figures. Now it’s a major hassle. It’s fine if you live right next to a shop and can check every day, but if you can’t you’re more often than not going to miss out.

October 21st, 2024 - 12:07pmExcept, of course, there were fewer TRU’s back then then there are B&M’s now, so you personally didn’t have an issue, but thousands of others did. And TRU is now defunct in the UK (as is Woolworths, which carried the range to a much greater extent) despite them stocking exactly what you wanted. Hate to harp on, but collectibles are by their nature hard to find. You’re lucky you don’t collect Gacha capsule toys, or Hummel figurines, where you could spend 10-15 years hunting ONE figure.

October 19th, 2024 - 9:55pmYeah it must be allocated stock, Kingston Park Newcastle have all so had a restock they have got both variants Dalek Sets probably about 6 and a shelf full of Davros. That was at 7pm. I can see these going on sale like they did last year.

Mesh on the silver varient to go to the top of the slats to look more like Dalek six ex. Still don’t know what to do with all the supremes

Picked up a Dalek Set From Doncaster FrenchGate and none of the Sets had them. Then for some reason all the Davros Sets had them when I picked one up from CortonWood, Near Barnsley. I Despise those Metal Security Barcodes. Literally took Half an Hour to get just One off without Damaging the Packaging.

October 19th, 2024 - 4:56pmApplying heat from a hair dryer on a low setting makes them easier to remove without damage, other people recommend lighter fluid, but for goodness sake don’t combine them both!

Like you say, I’ve heard Lighter Fluid is Good, the Same with Turpentine or Meths.
Basically anything that Destroys the Glue without Damaging the Package.

Gloucester (prior to Devon) – neither sets “Haven’t seen them come in & I look after toys” end quote.
Barnstaple – had Davros sets, I had the last remaining one on shelf. An online Seller based in Barnstaple seems to have a few… sigh…
Bideford – no Davros or Dalek sets. 7x 13th Dr sets on shelf.
Bude – no Dalek/Davros sets. One 9th Dr set. But first class customer service here!
Exeter – 2 B&M branches. Can’t remember which one, apologies, but in one “I’ve ordered loads in, but there’s a delay and so we won’t get them for a couple of weeks”. In the other “Haven’t got them in yet”. I did see in someone else’s post they they were on the shelves four hours after I’d visited. Sigh…
Launceston – nothing.
Returned home to Scotland… and found both Dalek sets in Stirling. I’ve e-mailed a pic.

October 19th, 2024 - 10:48amAfter about 30 visits to 4 different stores I completed all three as a fresh box of six daleks appeared for the second time in Fareham Mall, 1 week on. Of the three variants one had the daleks the wrong way around, so I was doubly pleased. This to me makes the variant stand out even more and more worthwhile.

Went to Lincoln yesterday. Absolutely nothing in the Deacon Road store. It’s always a bit naff there though.
However, the Tritton Road store had 12 Davros’ (11 now, I bought one). That was as of ten to ten last night so hopefully they’ll still have some if anyone wants. I have a picture but I don’t know how to post here.
I did find a chap putting toys out and asked about the Daleks. At first he said they’d get them in in November ready for Xmas, but when I pointed out people were seeing them in store he said they might get them in today (Saturday). I can’t get back up there today so can’t confirm.
Also, and take this with a pinch of salt, he said there’s a rumour going around that B&M will be implementing an online store next year. I’ve no idea, but thought I’d mention it. Hope it doesn’t break the rules here. If it does happen I think we’d have a better chance of beating Scalp-Or next year!

I forgot to say where exactly they were. In the second toy isle, the one with the good, branded toys, not the naff stuff, right at the start of the isle if you’re at the bottom of the store, on the right on the bottom shelf. Hope that helps.
