Royal Mail 50th Anniversary Souvenir Cover

Royal Mail Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Souvenir Cover

Taking a trick from the TARDIS, we’ve packed more into this Souvenir Cover than you’d ever have believed possible. It’s the only Cover to feature all 11 Doctor Who stamps, which are cancelled with a unique blue TARDIS postmark.

It also contains a poster featuring the many faces of the Doctor on one side and a stunning montage that includes his faithful companions and a horde of monsters and villains on the other. Available in a numbered, Limited Edition of just 10,000, there’s no time to lose if you want to own one.

Released on 23 November

The cover turn’s up in a cardboard envelope sealed with a sticker marked Dr Who Souvenir Cover October (Which they obviously produced in advance of the 23.11.13)

The cover come’s exactly as pictured above but with your own number next to the 10,000 mark

Inside is an A3 fold-out double-sided poster with the Doctors one side & Monsters (Including a very nice image of Roger Delgado as The Master) the other. It’s a very different design of poster compared to all the other pictures floating about at the moment…

Great cover! but I think I’ll pass as I was already bought the Royal Mint collection of all 11 Doctors and the 2nd class Tardis and Monster stamps back in April! 😀

It’s too little too late for this as far as I’m concerned. This should have been available as one of the initial products. Did it not occur to the Royal Mail that people will want ALL Eleven Doctors on ONE cover? Not an unnecessary Classic / NuWho divide.

The Westminster Collection are having my money for producing a higher quality, and more cheaper, Eleven Doctors card.

It’s funny, all the better Doctor Who related stamp stuff are being produced by other companies.

There are 10,000 available, I don’t think you will have a problem getting one. Do bear in mind though that this Postmark on this cover, is a different one to the original Royal Mail releases. This is dated 23/11/13 50 years to the day Doctor Who first started in Blue Ink not black.
