It’s arrived, Number 105, it’s a thing of beauty. I think this (and a Destroyer, if they ever make one) are my favourites of the whole collection.

You never know ergon, they might get Hartnell spot on, so even you might be tempted?

I don,t think i,d start with The Harrop Doctors now even if it was coleman. I,m fine with the Eaglemoss and character figurines. If i had a few more grotzigs i,d collect all the Big Chief doctors.

Just been reading some very old comments and was wondering how much did you have to pay for Harrops Silver and Gold membership and if you had membership, how long did it last?

If the three figurines from the same story are in fact Azal, Bok and the Master. I wonder if they’ll use the version of the Master with his red ceremonial robes and release this one near Xmas and have it has the Christmas special they usually do?

Yes he’s gone ergon. Glad I stayed up and ordered on the 24th. Nearly everyone now’s only taking a day or less to sell out.
Potentially, a really popular character could sell out in an hour or maybe two so it’s not worth risking it anymore?

It would be good in future if Harrop’s limited sales to 1 figurine per address for say the first 3 days of sale. This way it would possibly allow more individuals to purchase the figurine and not loose out rather than those who order more than one to sell on at profit. Anyone who then wanted more could order the following Monday if any were left. Harrop’s wouldn’t lose income and would be good for customer care.

Just a tip. When the 1st Doctor goes up for pre-order in a couple of months time might be worth trying to order as early as 11.00. I noticed Dalek1 posted on this site about 11.15 that he’d already ordered one, so these pre-orders seem to be going live earlier and earlier?

They always go live at 11pm but people have kept quiet so as to get their orders in first.

Thanks for the tip ergon, never knew. As I mentioned before I used to wait a day or two before ordering.

i expect the site might crash in future with everyone trying to get those orders in at the same time although i won,t be ordering now till those three classics are announced. A bit of a breather with the next being the Hartnell figurine. Stairfoot roundabout next on the agenda for those B and M sets.

    • Coleman

      June 25th, 2021 - 12:09pm

      Yes Stairfoot soon ergon.
Been meaning to ask you about the three upcoming figures from Harrops. Dan’s mentioned their coming from Season 8. So there’s talk one might be the Master, if so won’t you be interested? I know your not a fan of their Human Characters.

If one’s the Master I hope he’s holding the Troll doll.

    • the ergon

      June 25th, 2021 - 4:51pm

Do you know coleman i never thought about that but i do see him as an enemy if that counts . You see i,m thinking they could get the lifelike appearance to the standard of the big chief models but Harrops being a different style i dont know. I would have to see what it looked like. I,d be tempted more, as anonymous as mentioned, hes holding the troll doll. That way i,d be happy to pay more and we get two for one.

      June 25th, 2021 - 4:55pm

If they are from the same story and some think it might be The Daemons. It could be one of two master guises. As reverend Magister in dog collar and posed with tissue compression eliminator or in those Red ceremonial robes summoning Azal.

    • Coleman.

      June 25th, 2021 - 6:49pm

Gossip on the net at the moment is saying that since the three figures are from Season 8, they could only be from one of two stories. Their suggesting Carnival Auton, Auton and the Master or Azal, Bok and the master. But it’s just speculation after all.

    • booboo

      June 25th, 2021 - 6:58pm

Harrops have said them selves they are, can’t see Harrops doing “variants” so close so i would go for Bok , Azal and The Master in robes or a wild card of Bessie.

    • Coleman

      June 25th, 2021 - 7:39pm

Just meant the suggestions were speculation Booboo. All we know for certain is there from Season 8.

    • booboo

      June 25th, 2021 - 7:44pm

All 3 are from the same story

    • Anonymous

      June 25th, 2021 - 7:48pm

Bessie would be awesome. Not sure if they’d go in this direction though. Apart from the TARDIS they’ve only done figures. (Fingers crossed though).

At least with bok we should get the weathering which was conspicuous by its absence on the eaglemoss version. I,d like the red eyes but i,m not sure they,d go for him crosslegged. Not as iconic as him firing one out..

    • Coleman

      June 26th, 2021 - 4:38pm

LOL, sorry ergon couldn’t help laughing at that last comment about “firing one out”.
Glad I wasn’t having an hot drink when I read that!

They’ve said the 3 releases after Hartnell are all from the same story so I’m guessing it’s The Daemons and it will be Azal , Bok and the Master

Yes zygon, to be honest I used to order anytime through the day or even the day after, thinking I’d plenty of time. But nearly missed out on the Yeti doing that so in future I’ll order as soon as they go live.
