WOW Thats a LONG list of contents on the bottom of the back of the box lol its a shame the doctor in the promotional images isnt included. booboo ive heard from character onlines twitter that they hinted at rory being released in a later wave and the next wave is announced in the summer. exciting stuff 🙂

Last tweet from Character was “we currently have no plans to release a Rory figure.” have a look at CharacterOnline’s twitter

make of that what you will!

    • SpiderDalek94

      June 21st, 2011 - 9:32pm

Someone Twitted Before that tweet “Why Do We have dismembered Doctor Goo And Not Rory?

And Character Twitted “we do not know what figures we will have until they are announced, but it could well be that the figs you want will be…released in a later wave.”

So Thats Them Slightly hinting at rory and others like hopefully river song.

      June 21st, 2011 - 9:36pm

yes i saw that, i kind of agree that its strange we get goo and no Rory figure (yet) i was just looking at their last tweet earlier today

      June 21st, 2011 - 9:44pm

I did once email them a while ago asking about it and they said that they had it in production but they lost the sculpt made for it. seems like a silly excuse to me. you wouldnt expect them to loose a sculpt from a highly organised place like
designworks/Character Options. But then again if they have a manufacturing problem that delays wave 1 of series 6 figures then maybe they were telling the truth. You would have expected them to have at least done a prototype sculpt by now. only time will tell but we will get rory at some point. 🙂

Booboo do you know why Character Options has removed the “Based on the blue peter competition winner Susannah Leah” under junk tardis console playset?
It was on the box shown on blue peter but not on the offcial product :L

The Playset itself looks Amazing and the detail is incredible 🙂

      June 21st, 2011 - 8:37pm

Oh ok. it just seems strange that it was originally on the front and now is on the back. I think it should be on the front because it is her design and it makes it look cheeky that they havent given her credit when they have (On the back)

how do these “Safety straps” work?

The box makes it sound like its an important part of the set. 🙂

      June 21st, 2011 - 8:39pm

ah thats a very clever idea 🙂

im liking this set even more. probably won’t get it for a while because i don’t have much money on me but i will try to get this even if it doesnt come with an idris figure. Though i sense an exclusive idris figure with the set ONLY at argos. 😕

    Few questions about this Booboo:
    1) Is this out now?
    2) Is this worth getting if I don’t really play with the figures?
    3) How detailed is this?

      yes it is

i think its brilliant for £20, but would be best with figures.

Its not as detailed as the Large Tardis, the time rotor extends and is removable, it just strikes me as good value for £20
