With his courageous companion, RUBY, the Doctor is back in the TARDIS for a whole new era of time-traveling tales. But fearsome foes await…

Titan Comics is pleased to announce that it is returning to the TARDIS once more on Free Comic Book Day, with the release of DOCTOR WHO: THE FIFTEENTH DOCTOR: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY EDITION. Available in participating comic shops May 4, 2024.

Written by master of sci-fi and fantasy, Dan Watters (Loki, Home Sick Pilots, The Sandman Universe), this special issue kicks-off an all-new DOCTOR WHO comic series starring the FIFTEENTH DOCTOR (Ncuti Gatwa) and his companion in time and space, RUBY SUNDAY (Millie Gibson).

The launch of the new series in 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the first DOCTOR WHO comics under Titan Comics. The publisher first started travelling with the Doctor in 2014 and hasn’t stopped since. Now, in its 10th year, Titan Comics will be part of an exciting new era of Doctor Who with the Fifteenth Doctor.

On the Free Comic Day edition of DOCTOR WHO: THE FIFTEENTH DOCTOR, series editor, Jake Devine says, “Doctor Who Free Comic Book Day marks the first appearance of the Fifteenth Doctor in Titan Comics and I’m so excited – it feels like we’ve been waiting for this new era forever! We’ve got an incredible story to tell from a fresh creative team with a spectacular vision. I can’t wait for fans to get stuck in!”

Free Comic Book Day takes place every year on the first Saturday of May. With over two thousand stores and several comic book publishers participating, the event gives readers a chance to grab a free comic and meet fellow comic readers. Readers can find their local participating store HERE.

Got mine from Gosh Comics in London (they’re a great comic book store!). I’d recommend getting a copy of the book: it’s a nice little story, which acts a a prelude to the forthcoming series, featuring a new villain/monster with an unusual collecting habit…

I gave up on Titan’s Doctor Who series years ago, once they started screwing around with the Reprints & also messing about with the series as they went along!

Never bought any of them. I think the artwork is awful so I never bothered with them.

I’m always gutted about these as where I live there are NO comic shops that will carry these. I end up with the Amazon digital copies

I hope they stick with it this time. They seemed to abandon the 13th Doctor halfway through her era.

That could’ve been the effect of the pandemic. I had the unfortune of working on a book during it and he comic book industry pretty much broke back then.

What I am curious about is if creators of this book will get to see the episodes of Ncuti before working on it. I think when the first Jodie comic came out they were still shooting first season.
