Arrived today but broken in two places. Seems to have been glued to base at an angle so parts must have snapped when inserted into packaging.

Mines just arrived and guess what?, shattered in five places.my hopes weren,t high from hearing earlier reports of breakages.they should have added FRAGILE stickers to the boxes or as previously said, done with detachable wings etc.Thats three items i,ve had to send back this last week alone.

I wondered if the wings & tail would break – But no they are fine. Pity about the front fore arms though, they came in 4 pieces instead. Just emailed for a replacement.

My replacement arrived today and thankfully it is in one piece. Scared to touch it incase something falls off.

Got the replacement this morning and I was Shaking a little when opening but my fears of a broken one evaporated and there was a sigh of relief when i saw it nestled in the box intact. Getting it out of the box was another matter and like delicately handling a baby chick.

Reaper has now gone up to it’s correct price of £25.99 on Eaglemoss.

I queried subscribers email and they confirmed it will be £24.99 but delay in it being sent. Money due out this week if you opt in.

Well done to those who pre-ordered at £20.99 while they could. I was waiting for TLV3 to be added to shop but still not on there. No doubt it will appear next week now price increase has happened.

Yeah, that’s why I am asking to be honest. that email usually comes out before the generic promotional email. As the collection is coming to the end of the line, I wondered if they had changed something. Anyway, I am sure its fine and that the email has just been delayed

Wow this is beautiful. I love it! Really clever way of posing it so that it fits onto the plinth, and I bet that, in this pose, it will look great next to other figurines.

lets face it, people have been asking for a reaper since day one, now they do one all some people do is complain.

If something arrives broke you are entitled to a replacement end off.

I have had ONE broken figurine, the wooden console which was replaced in 3 days. some pople seem to get a lot of broken stuff which brings into question the handling of their local postal service.

lets not let handful of bad experiences condemn the range into non existence as some people seem to want to.

      August 19th, 2020 - 7:13pm

      It will be fine,
The wirrn special was more delicate than this and I can’t recall loads of breakages.

    • the ergon

      August 19th, 2020 - 8:05pm

Its DPD that seem to be the worst offenders where any breakages are concerned. The post office stuff mostly arrive in one piece including specials.

    • Mrs Croot

      August 20th, 2020 - 12:26am

Yes the Wirrn was a strange one not to come broken, but still something isn’t right with how they are sent. 13th Doctor Companions was the first one to come with 2 broken figures (So broken in 2 places).

Even replacement figures of mine have come broken, so there must be something wrong with Royal Mail if this is what I fear every month (and am frequently graced by).

Then again, it may be Eaglemoss. They keep managing ,without fail, to mess up my subscription so I’m a month behind extremely quickly after I get it fixed. So there may be problems with their packaging, but it could be either of the two tbh.

Just a broken wooden console broken out of the entire collection so far for me. I think that was due to the package designers underestimating the pressure that was put on the rails on the top of the console as it was moved about in the post. This was quickly replaced by Eaglemoss. I have said it before but I cannot fault Eaglemoss and the customer service. Hope we keep going past 200.

    • Alvin Amey

      September 18th, 2020 - 12:08am

The Wirrn is a very sturdy figurine due to the legs being made of metal, I’ve only heard of a couple complaints of it arriving damaged and that was due to the rear pincer breaking..

    • Neil

      September 18th, 2020 - 11:08am

Who knows what percentage of Wirrn returns there actually were?

  • Doug Who

    August 19th, 2020 - 5:00pm

Wow! A really ambitious figure and a lovely sculpt.

Seeing Eaglemoss doing this non-humanoid figure offers the faint possibility, however slim, that we might see other monstrous specials such as the Shrivenzale, which is the one special figure I’d most love to see and the design drawings give a better idea of the creature.

Even the dreaded Myrka could work well as a figurine!
