November 26th, 2020 - 9:18amI,ve just been in conversation with customer services and she told me there was a delay with the monthly subscription figurines. She said they are supposed to be notifying customers that the Skithra queen and Master figurines are looking like mid December Despatch now.

August 24th, 2020 - 5:40pmWhat are the chances of going beyond 200 issues? So many i want that haven’t been done yet (foamasi, styggron, borad and the one at the top of my want list – krynoid!) Sorry, but i always groan when 13th doctor stuff comes out, this era is so bad i’ve stopped watching so i don’t know what they are, if i wasn’t such a completist i’d send them back! That’s not a criticism of the figurines by the way!
booboo
August 24th, 2020 - 6:01pmThat’s the problem for Neil, everyone has their own agenda, but if the 13th Doctor era was ignored as so many seem to wish this series would have ended long ago i have no doubt of that.

August 20th, 2020 - 1:02pmReally liking the picture of this figure on the “Sea Devil” thread. In the actual episode, the scenes and locations with the Queen were so dark, I was completely unaware of all the textures and colours the actual costume! Love it!
Coleman
August 20th, 2020 - 3:25pmMe too,
Never really noticed all the colours of the costume when shown on TV because of the dark settings.

August 20th, 2020 - 12:28amThe variant I would like is first Doctor from the Five Doctors Richard Hurndall

August 19th, 2020 - 4:18pmShe looked cool on screen, look forward to the figure, great episode too.

August 19th, 2020 - 4:09pmNeil, I’m actually presenting inference in an opinionated and sarcastic manner. Perhaps my suggestion that this is a recent trend was unkind – since the 60s, Doctor Who monster costumes have often been cheap and made up of bits of found objects. I have worked in television and film, by the way, and budgetted costume and art department work. It was common to slash art dept costs to a minimum to cover needs of other depts. Not Dr Who, but in my on set work I was present at many instances where camera and lighting departments struggled to hide unconvincing props, etc. in shadow or out of frame.
Neil Corry
August 19th, 2020 - 10:07pmYou’ve inferred that, as according to you Series 12 costumes are tacky, the budgets have been slashed? And you’ve worked in the business. Crikey.
Coleman
August 19th, 2020 - 12:15pmFledershrew, don’t know if you’ve already noticed but BooBoo as put a picture up on the Eaglemoss Sea Devils Thread.
Fledershrew
August 19th, 2020 - 1:14pmThanks for that, Coleman. Just seen them. Even for an early version of it, I think that Sea Devil figurine looks really nice.
ogronic
August 19th, 2020 - 11:53amGood to see that they’ve sculpted the piece of old car tyre that she had as a shoulder pad. The monster budget has really been slashed on the series of late – no wonder they tried to hide how tacky this costume was in the episode.
Gareth Pugh
August 19th, 2020 - 12:50pmBut wasn’t that a major plot point about the Skithra in the storyline – that they were parasites who just scavenged bits and pieces from other cultures and civilisations? it probably was meant to be a car tyre in-universe, in this instance LOL
Neil Corry
August 19th, 2020 - 3:00pmOrgronic, you know you’re presenting opinion as fact. You think the budget has been slashed and so you think this costume, which you think is tacky, was hidden. Unless you work in TV costume?
Coleman
August 19th, 2020 - 11:52amReally like the new batch of figures announced.
If Eaglemoss are only making 200 figurines in this range as stated before. I’m glad they seem to be concentrating on all new figures again instead of the slight variations.
JacksonLake
August 19th, 2020 - 4:52pmAs long as companion figurines and Dalek variants are limited to their respective ranges we should be good in getting completely new figurines until we hit the 200 mark.
Also – idea: would it be better to introduce a “variant” range, where we can put all the extra non-Dalek variants? (e.g. Sontaran/Judoon troopers, the Sycorax leader, etc).
Coleman
August 19th, 2020 - 6:54pmYes, like put all the variants in double packs with their respective Dr Who figurines and free up the main line for all new figures.
Neil Corry
August 21st, 2020 - 6:23pmThis is the best:
“If Eaglemoss are only making 200 figurines…”
That “only” is doing a lot of hard work.
Fledershrew
August 19th, 2020 - 9:55amThis villain reminded me so much of the Racnoss Queen. Will be interesting to see the figurine.

August 19th, 2020 - 11:57amYeah. It was a good performance. I wish Chibs added a simple line that they were from the neighbouring planet of Racnoss. Or something.
