This Special Edition of Doctor Who Figurine Collection looks at the magnificent TARDIS console that made its first appearance in the 20th-anniversary adventure!

For the first two decades in the Doctor Who’s series, the TARDIS control room and the style were “redecorated” several times, but the main console remained relatively the same (with minor alterations). The 20th anniversary was a perfect time to introduce a new console that reflects the interior of the revamped control room from the previous multi-Doctor celebration “The Three Doctors”. “The Five Doctors” (1983) episode stepped further and brought a completely new control room and console, including the changed shape of the console for the first time since the Doctor Who began.

The Tardis Console Model: The Five Doctors, made from a high-quality polyresin, meticulously recreates every button, switch, and panel. It was carefully hand-painted to bring to life the consol that served three Doctors until it was retired in 1993 adventure Dimensions in Time.

The Tardis Console Model comes complete with a magazine detailing this console’s place in history, its functionality and use in the adventures. We look at the making of the ever-changing TARDIS console that appeared in the series from 1983 to 1993.

Very happy with mine. Love the detail on the underside too.

The black paint application on the monitors was a bit rubbish so I fixed that with a black marker.

Looking forward to Season 1 and future consoles. Really hope they do 4th’s wooden one, then 8th and NewWho versions. Although I know the central columns will be difficult.

    Happy to collect them all.

The wooden one would be nice yes, The modern ones could be done with a separate time rotor to attach after unpacking but even if it was just part of the column and not the full length I’d be happy although Jodie’s one would be the easiest to do.

The monitors on my 5th Doctor console were okay just a shame they were all black and not made to look like they were on maybe white or blue would have looked better but I’m not that fussed.

I’m thinking they could do the 9th/10th console and the series 7b and series 8-10 consoles the same way they did the Dalek Prime Minister figurine. Just have a mix of the poly-resin material, or whatever it is they use for the figurines, and plastic. I’m sure they’ll figure out a way to do them if the spin-off set is popular/sells well and they decide to do them.

Got mine, it looks fantastic surprisingly larger than the Tom Baker version but then it probably was a bit bigger.
Nice detail on this I hope we get more!

Cant wait for the 1st doctors, I hope we get the 12th doctor’s console and then perhaps eagelmoss could then use the existing sculpt for a 11th doctor console series 7b. It would be nice to see some tardis exteriors too but I think it’s been mentioned that they’re not going to do anymore (my most wanted would be 13s tardis and the 1966 tardis exteriors)

What’s the reason they aren’t doing anymore exteriors? They really seem like a no brainer. It’s a shame the only on they did was the 11th Doctors TARDIS as we had that in the same scale from Character anyway.

Neil has mentioned he’s asking persistently to do a spin-off of TARDIS exteriors but no luck as of yet. Maybe if the main collection and all the spin-off sets so far sell really well the higher ups at Eaglemoss/Hero Collector might agree to another spin-off of exteriors? Fingers crossed.

Just received this and yet another beautiful model from the collection. Really lovely detailing on this and the white colouring on the central column works very well I think where it would have been impossible to achieve the original transparent material. Just looks like it’s lit up!
