Figurine Collection MagazineSpecial 21 Dalek Gun Ship
From the long-running science-fiction TV series, comes the twenty-first Special Edition in the acclaimed Doctor Who Figurine Collection – The Dalek Gunship!
On the last day of the Time War, the Dalek Gunships are there on Gallifrey. On the last day of the Eleventh Doctor’s life, the Dalek Gunships are there on Trenzalore.
These incredibly important moments in the Doctor’s life have the Daleks strike terror in an entirely new way… In this special issue, discover how the Dalek Gunships evolved from machines that looked similar to the Dalek Emperor and what happened when the effects company that was meant to create the gunships suddenly shut down its television department…!
Standing approximately 135mm tall, we have recreated the Dalek Gunship, to exacting standards, and our figurine is another essential addition to the ever-growing collection.

Currently in the US so it keeps sending me to the USA site. I am from the UK and go home end of October, so don’t want to miss out on this Special.
Any help from anyone would be great. I’ve tried changing the flag but the shop keeps taking me to the USA site also.
Thanks!

September 17th, 2019 - 2:55pmLike the Emperor Dalek, i am going to pass on this simply due to size. Any Free space I,m reserving for monsters and their Specials, Doctors and companions. Not a big dalek fan anyway, although i appreciate and buy the smaller or standout iconic dalek releases. I,m more a cyberfan. Always have been.
Gareth Pugh
September 18th, 2019 - 8:11pmThe Ergon , it isn’t going to be too massive I don’t reckon – 135mm high is very slightly over 5 inches tall (a little bit taller than a DVD disc is wide). I’m crossing my fingers it is very well packaged for shipping as it looks brilliant but may have some quite brittle points.
The Werewolf
September 18th, 2019 - 9:04pmIt’s smaller than it looks
The ergon
September 19th, 2019 - 12:08pmI may have a change of heart if i can find the room. I can just do without more bulk when there are non dalek specials i can reserve space for. I,m looking for another display cabinet to put my other Daleks, Specials and Harrop stuff in. I know my collecting is getting out of hand when i have 2 plastic containers just stored away and not seeing the light of day. My girlfriend has told me i have to cut back and says I,m turning into an hoarder and i,m starting to see her point now as i have a full room devoted to this and other WHO collections.

September 19th, 2019 - 4:14pmYou just can,t keep up. One minute its half full the next its full to bursting I,m actually looking for one of those large pine display cabinets with the wooden shelves. I don,t trust glass shelves after one particular incident with one, where the shelves collapsed due to the wood warping with the cold weather and broke all my WHO eaglemoss stuff including Specials which in turn left me fuming as it took ages to re collect.

September 15th, 2019 - 12:47amI really wish Eaglemoss could do another poll for fans to see which figures they most want. The magazine wont go forever and there is lots of new and classic series figures that could get made that fans most want. I hope the magazine goes past 180.

September 17th, 2019 - 5:08pmHello Neil, regarding the poll, it’s just if the range comes to an end after 180, we wont be getting figures like Primords, Bok, Exxilons, Stygron, Eldrad, Borad, Moxx of Balhoun, Werewolf, Abzorbaloff Leandro, Sandmen etc. I really like the figures and think the range is the best ever. I certainly would like to think some of Who’s more memorable characters got made into figures.

September 17th, 2019 - 5:40pmThe problem is that the next Person who comes along will have a list totally different to yours, everyone has their own idea of what should be included but at the end of the day it would never have got to 180 if the mix hadn’t been about right.

September 13th, 2019 - 7:19pmI have only just discovered these figures today and was wondering how I subscribe to get them and if I do do I also get older issues and the rare special daleks that were released?
Neil Corry
September 13th, 2019 - 9:58pmAdrian, I’m sorry to say that subscribing isn’t possible from issue 1, and it hasn’t been for a while. Lots of the issues are sold out as it’s been running for six years.
I think it’s still possible to subscribe from the next available issue.
Saying that, a number of people I’ve talked to have been successfully building and completing their collections through back-issue orders on the Eaglemoss site (watch out for special offers, and this great site gets you a brilliant 12% off), and sites like eBay have helped too.
I’m really happy you’ve found the magazine, but sad to give a probably disappointing reply. I wish you the best of luck building your collection. We are very proud of it.

September 15th, 2019 - 3:07pmHey sorry to keep being a pain but I was wondering would you be able to tell me more about it?as I have heard that I can get some extra stuff if i pay a bit more such as some extra daleks and the emperorand some stands, also do I need to buy the bonus and special editions separately or do they come with the subscription? Also I have been told I can subscribe for the latest issue which is 141 but i though it was on issue 157 or there about? Sorry for all the questions and thanks a bunch for the help.

September 15th, 2019 - 3:23pmthey will give you the number you can subscribe from, but you can start anywhere above that number generally, then if they still do it you can upgrade to the premium subscription and you will get any future special Daleks / stand, the black stands, binders and special edition are all add ons you pick and choose what you what to receive in the future.
I have no idea what free gifts would still be available at this stage.

September 11th, 2019 - 6:31pmReally disappointed to read on Facebook that we’re getting another gold plinth instead of a rare Dalek next time.
1
September 18th, 2019 - 6:42amI’m personally the opposite, it’s about time we probably had another one as they are becoming very squished on the first one.
booboo
September 18th, 2019 - 8:08amI bought one a while ago of ebay knowing we would get a second so i will have 3 to spread them out a bit
The Flying Shark
September 18th, 2019 - 8:08amI’m in agreement-although I’m sad to be missing a Dalek, I really do need a second plinth, plus there aren’t that many variants I can think of to do. No classics come to mind and from the new series, all I can think of is the Assault Dalek, a variant Emperor’s Guard from the same story, Damaged Dalek Thay or the Dalek with syringe instead of a sucker from the same story, Crucible Dalek, Dalek Ironside without ear covers and the Emperor’s Guard blue mid-section variant from The Witch’s Familiar. Maybe a Witch’s Familiar Davros holding the screwdriver if possible. I’d like a new series Dalek with mutant reveal but in the main collection, as I suspect the Eternal and other major variants will be. And, although probably unlikely in the size, how about the Doctor in Davros’ chair or Clara inside a Dalek? A longer list than I thought, then!
booboo
September 18th, 2019 - 8:20amI personally wouldn’t mind a wheetabix Dalek, it depends on how the majority view such things though.
I also think people forget the stand was “A Rare” Dalek in the sequence of things (its why the numbers went out at one stage) so getting another is in the order of things.

September 9th, 2019 - 3:28pmGenuinely serious question, does anyone know where the best place to go would be to nominate Ben, Neil and the Figurine Collection for an award?

September 25th, 2019 - 9:36amA brief search engine browse gives a few possibilities. Picking the right category might be a problem though: innovative design, technical excellence, creative design, collectible of the year… then there’s UK , International or World categories as well.
list of various awards – https://awards-list.co.uk/uk-awards
there’s the Toy Associations Toy of the Year Awards (various categories)
British Toy & Hobby Association – https://www.btha.co.uk/awards/
quite a few Consumer awards as well.
I definitely think this collection, and the people behind it, deserve to win an award or two.

June 11th, 2019 - 9:27amNow that spaceships (or at least small ones) are part of the figurine collection I would love to see, a 10th Sontaran battle fleet Space Pod, the imperial Dalek shuttle craft, The Master’s Tardis, The Racnoss Webstar and The Movellan Ship. One really cool thing I would love to see in the collection is a model of the Dalek City from The Magician’s Apprentice.

June 10th, 2019 - 8:13pmJust out interest, has there been a brigadier figurine?

June 11th, 2019 - 8:55amdo you know if subscribers who opted in the for the specials will automatically get it or is it completely independent
Anonymous
June 11th, 2019 - 10:00amHopefully the price won’t be higher than the £35 – £40 range. Perhaps twice the price of a normal special edition – £39.99 maybe? Looks like it may be a similar size to the Emperor Dalek. Not quite as wide but certainly looks tall enough, and with three mini Daleks, if the magazine cover is an accurate view.
Bobby Davros
June 15th, 2019 - 1:56amI’ll be surprised if this is less than £49.99 given the price of similar size items in other collections and its added intricacy with the Dalek accessories.
Anonymous
June 18th, 2019 - 9:23amNeil Corry posted the size of the gunship in the ‘Dr Who Figurine Collection Updates’ thread.
“Neil Corry June 10th, 2019 – 7:29pm
It’s 135mm tall. I just nipped downstairs and measured it.”
King Hydroflax (Greg Davies) is about 13.5 cm.
That means it’s smaller than the oversized Emperor Dalek (22cm) and even smaller than some of the other Special editions 16-17cm (Minotaur, Drathro, The Beast, Pyrovile etc).
Slightly bigger than the 11-12cm pieces (Tardis, the Mire etc).
So it’s smaller than you would have thought but a lot of detail crammed into it. Can’t wait!
Bobby Davros
June 20th, 2019 - 8:26pmYeah I think I overestimated the price if its only 13 cm high. Having said that if the Daleks are 1 inch high then looking at the cover image the height of the ship should be at least 6 inches (15 cm) unless the Daleks are out of proportion.
