I don’t have much of a problem with Eaglemoss, have had broken figurines in the past but only 3 that I received were damaged and the replacement’s came quite quickly (Dalek Drone, Tetrap and Dalek Sec Hybrid).

Overall, my experience is quite positive and do enjoy the detail of these figures and variety a lot.

Arrived today in a separate delivery to the regular issues. Fantastic figurine.

My Pyrovile also arrived broken, his hand was snapped off… I’ll be emailing them soon.

Emailed Eaglemoss today with a photo of the damage. Got a reply back a little later to apologise and let me know they’d arranged to ship another one to me with my next delivery. I’ve had a couple of issues with figurines before and again this has been resolved very quickly. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience with them over replacements so again I’m very happy.

Sigh. My 4-weeks-late 152 Dalek Scientist arrived today… broken. As is my Pyrovile. I wouldn’t mind but now they have changed their replacement policy to only send them out when the next months subscriber packages ship means late August til I get what should have been here in June. Seriously?

Well, I’ve just phoned them. Replacements ordered but sure enough, I have to wait til the scheduled shipping date at Tennessee of August for issues 166/167. My pointing out that some others have recently been offered next day delivery on replacement subs copies as goodwill gestures fell in deaf ears – they just wouldn’t budge or do anything more for me. Im not after freebies here, I just would like my already late item a bit faster than their systems normally accommodate. They’ve definitely done it for others. As I say, had I got 152 on time in late June I’d have put up with that but to get a late shipment arrive broken and then told ‘sorry it’s another round of 4 weeks for an unbroken copy is not really on. Neil and team put a lot of work into this collection but the company’s fulfilment end let him, his team and the subscribers down badly.

Does anyone have any info as to when US shop might stock some new regular / special editions? The last issue was 143 and that was over 20 weeks ago. Other than the group of “rare” Daleks that came out (a nice surprise thank you) there has been nothing new. I check multiple times daily with my wallet next to me but so far I haven’t been able to give them my money. I’m just hoping there will be a big release soon before the holidays so I can get my son some new series figurines that he really wants. I’ve been quite pleased with the variety and quality and enjoyed playing catch up over the past 2 years with only a few out of stock items to find now before having the full set. I understand it can take longer to get items in stock overseas but this year seems unusually longer than typical. Customer service hasn’t had any information either but they are always pleasant and nice to speak with. Any insight on the US shop release schedule is appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Boo Boo,
Did this come with the Broton/Sniperbot delivery? I got the two figures this morning but no Pyrovile!
Had to keep chasing them about missing figures a while back so I really hope don’t have to go through that rigmarole again!
Having said that it’s a great looking figure and I could really see a Krarg figurine in this style!

Same here I got the 2 std issues but no special, the address label had 3 items listed on it, having said that last months label also had 3 items listed but only the 2 std issues.

      Here we go again!
I really had hoped their new system would sort out these issues. I had real hassle with continually missing figures a couple of years back and it was a real pain to sort out.
Phoning them was next to useless but sending persistent emails worked eventually.
It’s a shame because I love collecting this range but poor customer service erodes goodwill pretty quickly.
Good luck everyone getting their missing figures.

Received two parcels yesterday, Pyrovile in one and Broton+Sniperbot in the other. They looked ok at first glance but I haven’t taken them out of their poly bags to give them a closer inspection yet.

There seemed to be an overhaul of Eaglemoss’ stock control and despatch processes a while ago, tied in with a move of warehousing facilities? I think they’re continuously changing procedures to find something that works for everyone, unfortunately it’s just leaving everyone, customers and customer service agents, in the dark about what’s going on. Just my opinion.

just to add, usually the special editions and regular issues arrive in the same parcel, in a bigger box. Except the last couple of special editions have been sent separately in their own boxes.

Also, email notifications that this month’s issues are on their way have also been a bit hit and miss lately as well.

I know some collectors would rather get their issues into their hands as quickly as possible but I wouldn’t object if Eaglemoss decided to hit the pause button for a month or so just to get all the problems and backlogs sorted out. It would restore customer confidence. Then resuming distribution to subscribers and to stores.

Just from reading the comments on here and recent experience there seems to be shipping/manufacturing delays, getting issues to local shops and online retailers as well as some, but not all, subscribers. Damaged items do eventually get replaced, sometimes quickly but usually with much more of a delay. The more often that happens the greater the annoyance and eventually may result in people giving up their collecting.

actually finding it quite sad that a post that is essentially a “picture record” of figures received is full of complaints and nothing about the figure itself which is actually very good.

Kind of makes me just want to stick to the mags in future as they are announced to be honest and not do these posts as it always ends up the same.

I hear what you’re saying Booboo but as I’m not on social media this is the only forum I use to interact with other fans about merchandise specifically and as such I do perhaps use it to voice concerns now and then.

Usually I do only make comments about the merchandise itself but it’s so useful to share experiences (such as with the Pyrovile) and hear about others’. The Pyrovile does look like a lovely figure!

Along with everyone else, I genuinely appreciate everything you do to share images and release dates of merchandise etc, really it’s invaluable so I hope you’re not put off too much and apologies if I’ve contributed to that.

appreciate that, we will carry on, its just sad to read so many negative comments all about the service.

ok unpacked Broton, Sniperbot and Pyrovile. Of the three I quite like the Broton figure more than the others. But that’s probably just nostalgia for the original story.

The Pyrovile is deceptively detailed. By that I mean there’s more than just the yellow/ orange/ charcoal colours to it. There’s more shading going on. Whoever is sculpting the pieces is improving with each figure. The paintwork is accurate enough as well, just one slight slip which may or may not be deliberate, it’s hard to tell what the colour should be at the edge. Full marks for the piece. Also relieved it arrived safely because the ankles and wrists look fragile.

Booboo, from now on if I ever post something relating to individual issues it’ll only be an appraisal of the figures or magazines themselves. If I ever have a query regarding deliveries or customer support then it’ll stick to the ‘ask a question area’ instead.

I also don’t use social media, so this site is a welcome source of information about upcoming items as well as any problems people are encountering. I’ve been collecting this series from the start. Yes there’s been a few glitches along the way but eventually they’ve been resolved. The end results are well worth waiting for.

that’s fine, its not that people should post if they have problems to be honest, it just seemed to be a bit “one sided” i’d like to think there are people out these that are pleased with what they got, i know i am.

I have to be honest, i have never had any problem with EM except one late delivery (by a week), Never had a broken figure.

The Pyrovile special arrived today so thanks Eaglemoss a very happy customer now!

Another wonderfully detailed figurine and an imaginative and really effective paint style. The vast majority of these figures have been fantastic and make an impressive collection.

As a totally unexpected bonus they also finally sent the replacement special Mechanus Attack Dalek which had originally arrived damaged. I was told this had been discontinued so I’m doubly delighted! It’s a real beauty! Gorgeous colour scheme.

Apologies for the earlier negativity but this is the only place I have to vent! Hope everyone else gets any issues sorted asap.
