March 3rd, 2021 - 9:55pmAm I the only one finding the comic book art on these shirts particularly weak? The Doctors and companions look little like their actors. I can’t even tell what the monster on the 7th Doctor shirt is supposed to be. (I’m assuming that the companion with the baseball bat on his shirt is supposed to be ACE, but you couldn’t tell from the art!)
Still waiting on my second Eaglemoss Game of Thrones figurine set that I ordered from Zavvi in August! It was a preorder supposedly shipping in October. Luckily, they did ship the first set, so I’m hoping they’ll come through. I hope that Eaglemoss doesn’t run out of the figurines they were supposed to send Zavvi, and they don’t cancel it. I spent a lot of money tracking down the figurines that weren’t in the two sets they were selling to try to get the whole set, and also bought a special bookcase for displaying them.
That said, when Eaglemoss eventually cancels the Who line, Zavvi might be a good place to find some clearance sets of figurines. They’ve sold several clearance lots of Eaglemoss’s discontinued ranges (GoT, DC, Marvel, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc) at rock bottom prices.
