That’s so darn expensive. Considering they released The Brigadier, Jo Grant and The Gel Guard for £28. That was 3 brand new totally different figures with different body sculpts on every figure. Not two very similar body sculpts, 3 heads and handles.

    Grumble.

Yeah, it is quite. I bet the box will be nice though 🙂

If you think about it, The Other Doctor was £14.99 for one figure with two heads.

And as far as we know, this is two figures with three heads. Plus nice box and accessories.

Oh, i hope we do! I didn’t manage to get one the first time around. But i thought it said on the fp website after it had sold out that we would not get any more.

  • When The Doctor Was Me

I think its two bodies, as the name of it on FPI says Doctor Who Exclusive – The Time of the Doctor 11th & 12th Figure. Its not an offical conformation but its as close to it as i think weve had! Anyway, pre ordered, would be a fool to miss out on this!

    • Trenzalore

      July 8th, 2014 - 9:06pm

I’m not even pre-ordering it, I’m waiting until the release date to get it. I didn’t pre-order the war Doctor so I’m not doing so with this.

    • StetsonDoctor

      July 8th, 2014 - 9:28pm

@Trenzalore, same here. There will always be stock in the stores when it comes out, even if it runs out within a week or two. I much prefer to do it directly than all this pre-order nonsense.

    • booboo

      July 8th, 2014 - 9:34pm

      Not nonsense

only a small % of people live within a reasonable distance of a FP store

Like us the others have no choice but to order on-line

    • StetsonDoctor

      July 8th, 2014 - 11:07pm

I suppose ‘nonsense’ was a bad word to use; I just think it’s a bit much for anybody to even be thinking about ordering something loads of month’s beforehand, I’d rather do it there and then, knowing that it won’t get delayed or anything like that. I just don’t really like per-orders in general.

    • The Holographic Doctor

      July 8th, 2014 - 11:20pm

I don’t have a FP near me so I have to order my figures online most of the time , unless I go to Liverpool in which case I am able to get some figures. That’s why I am pre ordering this figure.

    • Trenzalore

      July 9th, 2014 - 12:44pm

      I’m ordering it but I just don’t use pre-order.

  • Smithy1200

    July 8th, 2014 - 8:40pm

Forbidden Planet on their twitter post say that its an 11th and 12th doctor set so im guessing that there both included even though the description doesnt say so

If it’s for pre-order on FPI, it’s definitely not exclusive (although don’t know if you’ll be able to get it early at SDCC ❓ )
Didn’t think it was exclusive anyway, seems too important for that.

    • Sam Richard Bentley

      July 8th, 2014 - 8:59pm

On the site it says it is a FP exclusive – so, no, it’s not an SDCC exclusive

    • booboo

      July 8th, 2014 - 9:05pm

that just means FP exclusive i the UK although i doubt this is SDCC

    • Trenzalore

      July 8th, 2014 - 9:07pm

Do you think it’s possible people at SDCC could get it early?

    • booboo

      July 8th, 2014 - 9:10pm

i think the delivery date is to far away

besides UT usually do a big song and dance about their SDCC exclusives – although they are saying nothing at the moment, they haven’t even acknowledged these sets on facebook and twitter which is a bit odd to say the least

    • Trenzalore

      July 8th, 2014 - 9:13pm

I suppose so. Could be a surprise but people would probably want to know what’s there in advance so maybe not.

    • booboo

      July 8th, 2014 - 9:15pm

they have always announced stuff just a few days before

but to be honest they seem to have stopped talking to their (Doctor Who) customers in any shape or form

we will just have to wait and see

If people are going to buy 10 of these (slight exaggeration, I know) can you at least wait until people have order their ONE? I narrowly missed out on the War Doctor – once I ordered it, I discovered on twitter that loads of people had bought 3!!

    • James A

      July 8th, 2014 - 7:39pm

It might be removable, but then again £30 seems a bit steep for 1 figure, even for a FP singular exclusive.

  • Jaffa Cakes

    July 8th, 2014 - 7:29pm

I wish Character Options would take a full gallery of the figure(s). I also wish Forbidden Planet would take the time out to actually compose a proper item description before rushing to stick it up for people to order.

I haven’t a clue what I will get for thirty quid. Poor show.
