I’ve got a classic era dvd cover so this disc will go straight into that box. But the cover will join the vhs and alternate/original dvd covers in my covers collection.

Yep. it’s that cover that’s prompted me to order it, plus it is a cracker of a story.

Interesting (well, maybe not, but interesting to me!) that this is one of the few bits of merch getting an era-appropriate logo. I would have expected to see some variant of the diamond logo on this.

Its my favourite episode/story from the Tennant era, so this is exciting.

Is this not literally just the two episodes on a dvd, with no Doctor who theme between the pit opening and Jefferson shooting the ood. Is this it or am I missing something?

It’s an extended alternate cut. Obviously if you buy the DVD version you are missing out on the upscaling and upgrades.

I like this story, not a huge fan of Tennant but this one was good so I’m happy to get this.

if the series was still going and being released i would probably not get this but seeing we are in a drought now i may get this like the daleks in colour and the war games in colour day of the the daleks the curse of fenric ect its just another way to see this story with a few extra scenes and at £12-13 its not going to break the bank
