The ‘Other Doctor’ is the Doctor’s dark chapter, an _hitherto unknown incarnation whose existence he has spent centuries repressing, a secret he wants no one to know of.
He is a relic of the past, part of the great Time War, when he spent centuries fighting alongside his fellow Time Lords against the Daleks and made the final decision to end it with a desperate act that cost that incarnation the right to use the name “Doctor”.
This haunted and battle-worn Other Doctor is finally forgiven after helping find a new solution to end the war, giving the Eleventh Doctor a new purpose as he heads into further adventures.
The Other Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver, as seen in the 50th anniversary episode: “The Day of the Doctor”. Includes sound and light FX.
Requires 2 x AG13/LR44/L1154 button cell batteries, Demo batteries included. Ages 5+.

November 25th, 2013 - 3:41pmI got No.10 (I was actually 7th in the queue but I asked for that one!).
It’s easy to open, the bag has an adhesive flap like a post-it note.
The card cover is held on by magnets so it just pulls off.
Gentle open the gap at the top to relieve pressure on the tab that is pushed into the end flap of the box and pull it out.
If required use a blunt knife to easy the end flap open by placing it under the flap at the open end so the pressure on it doesn’t cause any tearing on the lip of the lid.

November 25th, 2013 - 3:42pmInside there are two trays. The top one contains the Doctor whilst the lower one is the stand.
These slide out and the Doctor is sandwiched between the two layers of the tray which are clipped together courtesy of a few ’notch’ like moldings.
I finally got around to opening mine last night to position him better.

only other thing there was was a plush Oswin Clara and another potato head (no photos allowed) on the UT toys stand although FP seemed to have loads of stuff they have not started to despatch yet like all the new titans such as 11 doctors, all the 6.5″ and 8″ ones and the pizza cutter and some other bits
BBC shops was heaving, loads of 10th Doctor holo’s and loose 10th doctor sonics for some reason
