New! Receive a collection of 9 FREE exclusive art cards when you order Doctor Who Series 7 Part 2 – one for each episode!

Dust off your bow ties (bow ties ARE cool) and get ready to witness the official introduction of the Doctor’s new companion, Clara Oswald, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman in the opening episode entitled “The Bells of St John”, written by Steven Moffat. Set in London and featuring iconic landmarks like The Shard and Westminster Bridge, the Doctor has to battle a new enemy, the Spoonheads as he discovers that something sinister is lurking in the Wi-Fi.

Doctor Who Series 7 Part 2 promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet, to coincide with the fantastic Doctor Who 50th Anniversary year. With episodes written by Steven Moffat, Neil Gaiman and Mark Gatiss, the Doctor will have to outwit foes, both old and new including Daleks, Cybermen and Ice Warriors.

Doctor Who actor Matt Smith will be joined a stellar list of guest stars including: Celia Imrie; Richard E Grant; Warwick Davies, Jessica Raine; Dougray Scott and Tamzin Outhwaite, as well as for the first time on screen together, mother and daughter ‘combo’ Dame Diana Rigg and Rachael Stirling.

I keep a catalog of every Who story since ‘An Unearthly Child’ and every episode following. I just updated it for season seven and realized that the finale (not the anniversary) will be the 800th episode and the 245th story.

shame it’s not the 50th! do you count the 2 David Tennant animated episodes?

No, I also counted ‘Utopia’ as a separate story from ‘The Sound Of Drums/Last Of The Time Lords’ (as it has been confirmed by countless sources so, one source was Russell T. Davies in an interview), and ‘The Trial Of A Time Lord’ as 4 separate stories (confirmed by the DVD releases, calling temselves stories 144-147, and the same subdivision was on the official BBC ‘Doctor Who’ website of the classic series.

I knew the Daleks were back but is the master back? WOW, didn’t think he’d return until a series or two after this but I don’t mind if he returns.

There have been rumours that Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast as the Master and it has been confirmed that, in no particular part, Benedict will appear in ‘Doctor Who’ sometime in the next year or two.

I’ll just wait for the complete boxset. I’m not going to pay €20 just for art cards. 😛

I’m getting the complete box set. They will probably put all the art cards from every episode anyway and I won’t collect them as parts when I get all the boxsets for my birthday

I don’t think there is a difference in content.

    • The TARDIS

      April 9th, 2013 - 6:04pm

There is no difference in content but blu-ray costs more because it’s high definition with better picture quality.

      April 9th, 2013 - 7:35pm

i see now, apart from the Blu ray, there is an autobiography for Jon Pertwee and an obit for Caroline John.

    • Anonymous

      April 9th, 2013 - 7:37pm

What why would it have Jon Pertwee’s autobiography

    • drjakeyoung

      April 9th, 2013 - 7:40pm

it’s a documentary, not a book if that is what you thought, same with Caroline John.

    • drjakeyoung

      April 9th, 2013 - 7:43pm

that’s fine, you were just curios 🙂

    • The TARDIS

      April 9th, 2013 - 8:22pm

Such a shame they couldn’t have put those special features on the DVD version, I’m not buying a blu-ray I can’t watch for two documentaries that AREN’T AVAILABLE ANYWHERE ELSE! Annoying… They could release them seperately. Could they please put them on Mind of Evil even though it has nothing to do with Caroline John?

    • drjakeyoung

      April 9th, 2013 - 8:25pm

unfortunately apart from watching them online somewhere when the blu ray is released, it will be the only way to get them.

In reply to what is blu-ray a normal DVD player scans the disc with a red laser and blu-ray scan with a blue!

      April 9th, 2013 - 8:29pm

It gives a better pic quality!

    • Nicholas

      April 9th, 2013 - 9:42pm

Blu-Ray has a better picture and sound quality than DVD’s. They are best watched on an HD TV otherwise, you wont see any difference to that of a DVD. A lot of people can’t see any difference but I personally think they are far more superior than DVD

    • josh smith

      April 10th, 2013 - 11:19am

but most things are on DVD so i dont see the point
