    Missed out again!
Does anyone know if Amazon/Zoom/Zavvi or HMV will be getting more stock in, and if so when will they be online?

I’m really glad I acted quickly to get this set on preorder. It is surprising how fast these can sell out, but then again, a lot of people buying the blu-rays do so in order to help make a fortune rather than to enjoy the actual episodes.

    • booboo

    • The Ergon

      February 5th, 2020 - 5:50pm

Why pull the listings if they know they can get advance orders on all copies? I mean Zavvi, HMV, Base.com and the like should have their quota,so why do they have to do this?

    • booboo

      February 5th, 2020 - 5:56pm

they have probably been told to because they jumped the gun so had advantage over the other retailers

If you ran a business and others put something up for order ahead of the given date/time how would you feel?

I guess we’ll have to hope they’ve corrected it along with the error with the booklet notes regarding The Sontaran Experiment broadcast on 22 February and 1 March 1975, but the booklet incorrectly lists the recording date as late September 1975.

It is so nice to see they have followed through with re-releasing this set again, they highly underestimated the demand this collection would receive first time around, also not surprised with the short release date and little coverage because they do not need to promote this release as the target market will already be on the look out and they will have no issue selling these copies.

You get email confirmation of any order, mine was about four minutes to nine this morning, IF they don’t can’t fulfil any order they generally offer a £5 discount off your next order James.

    • Chris

      February 5th, 2020 - 1:18pm

If you placed a pre order on Amazon you are guaranteed a copy in March yes

    • James

      February 5th, 2020 - 1:24pm

Thanks for the replies, I did get an email confirmation, just a bit scary how soon after I ordered it went unavailable, literally to the point I think might have got the last copy. While £5 discount is nice it won’t nearly cover the cost that these sell for on eBay.

    • Chris

      February 5th, 2020 - 1:28pm

Amazon sell their allocation and then announce unavailability when pre orders have used up that allocation. So if you have pre ordered and have an email confirmation of that order then you are guaranteed one of their allocation
