I’m disappointed Oswin is not on this calendar, she did appear in Doctor who this year so she deserves to be on there. Ah well, at least we have to look at for one more year 🙂

If you look carefully at both the 2012 and 2013 annuals the 2013 annual is a zoom in on the doctors chin and bow tie. because they have tried to make it look as if the doctor is being seen through a daleks eye (as in the episode the wedding of river song i think) you will also notice it may look slightly different but who ever created the 2012 cover should take the credit for the 2013 cover.

Pictures are completely different, similar but not… 2012 has the his chin covering the top of the bow tie, different angle, and the bow tie goes over his jacket more than last year as well as it being more straight this time round

they might put a lot of puzzles in it with alot of facts. what im getting at is the annual should focus more on the episodes than puzzles and facts about characters.

If you are smart enough and an offical doctor who fanatic, you would know that Elizabeth Sladen,(who plays Sarah Jane Smith) sadly passed away last year they released her finall episodes after her death and funeral. Do you not watch T.V. or was you in Peru when they had an hour long tribute to on of the doctors oldest companions.

This might be stupid of me, but why when I look on the cover James Bond comes to my mind? I don’t even watch it and I’m not a fan.

Who would love a Doctor Who Halloween Special?! I think it would be awesome and they could put all the creepiest monsters the Doctor has met including new ones. Carrionites, Vashta Nerada, Peg Dolls, The Empty Child, Saturnynes and add like Enchanted Skeletons and Alien mummies from a planet that looks like Egypt with haunted houses and pyramids and alien ghosts from other worlds. How awesome would that be?!?! 🙂 🙂

The Gunpowder Plot was released on Halloween. Another of my random facts.
There’s a Tenth Doctor book called Forever Autumn which looks Halloween-ish. I have that but I haven’t read it yet.

if they did make a halloween special they could include a quest for the doctor where he would have to relinquish a key to save earth but he wouldnt have his sonic screwdriver hed have many different timelordy gadgets like a lazer lockpick or sonic key, once he had relinquished the key he would have to unlock the secret of the planet wich could be called egyptia and once the secret was opened, the daleks could be the secret, everyone on egyptia would have to evacuate. just a segestion.:)

They should wait a bit so that they won’t just be reviewing the same thing like the Doctor Who annual 2010.I’ll probobly wait for the Big Book!

But they will include Series 6 Part 2 and the Christmas Special which wasn’t included in the 2012 Official Annual! 🙂

      February 25th, 2012 - 4:51pm

And more about series 6 part 1 hopefully. There’s not much about A Good Man Goes To War in there. Actually I don’t think there’s anything about A Good Man Goes To War in there.

There isn’t, Bow tie of Doom. And The Curse of the Black Spot and The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People (I know you hate that 2-parter but they have to put it as it’s DW and for the fans). I hope it contains plenty of AGMGTW, The Girl Who Waited and especially Night Terrors! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • Bow tie of Doom (Mood fit woo eb)

      February 26th, 2012 - 4:05pm

It’ll most likely cover (at least a bit)from every episode of Series 6.
Random fact for you but the TARDIS picture on the back of the 2012 annual is from The Curse Of The Black Spot. I really don’t know how I know that.
