December 27th, 2022 - 3:03pmKind of on topic: almost impossible to get hold of collections of DWM comic strips these days. Even used copies are being advertised for silly amounts. God only knows why they’re out of print. Maybe they’ve been to the same business school as B&M and Character.
Thinking about it, isn’t it time those strips got the chunky glossy treatment, a bit like the Marvel doorstops?
As for the original DW Weekly back-up strips, they’ve never appeared to my knowledge. Surely, if it’s a rights issue, it wouldn’t take THAT much to sort out.

December 18th, 2022 - 2:27pmWhen the inevitable “Liberation of the Daleks” Graphic Novel Comes Out, am I the only one that wants to see #585’s beautiful Dalek Cover be reused for the compilation, or even a variant featuring the Fourteenth Doctor and the TARDIS in the foreground.
Once again DWM gives us a wonderful issue celebrating what’s come before and what is still to come…

December 14th, 2022 - 6:32pmFinally arrived on shelves in Edinburgh. It’s a good issue and I really hope they manage to sort their distribution problems. BTW, the editorial at the front of the issue says next one due out 5 January.

December 13th, 2022 - 1:16pmno luck last week in my local tescos there was an empty space on thevshelf where it should have been gonna try again tommorow,last issue when many where going mad bidding £50+ on the issue on ebay my mum got me one easily from w h smith on a daytrip to bury.Those that paid £50 for it must have kicked themselves later surely.

December 13th, 2022 - 12:48pmBeyond a joke now. Still no sign of this in Edinburgh and I’m at the point where I don’t expect there to be. My local Post Office, where I normally buy it and which always stocks it, have been sent the 2023 Yearbook instead. The order I placed with Panini on Friday using the £4.95 express delivery option has still not arrived and, already a day late, appears to be stuck in a DPD warehouse in Edinburgh and won’t be delivered until tomorrow at the earliest “due to unforeseen circumstances”. I’m really not going through this palaver every month. I’m also about to contact Panini asking for my £4.95 back. What a mess.
