Where are all these daleks coming from? Thought the same thing for power of the Doctor. Seems like Chibnall and the future writing team have indeed completely forgotten the flux wiped them all out along with 90% of the universe and absolutely nothing was done to undo this.

Flux didn’t wipe them out though. Eve of the daleks told us that. It was stated in eve a dalek fleet was wiped out not all of the daleks.

Davies completely destroyed the daleks in parting of the ways, Rose wipes them from the universe but they always come back. It’s a traditional thing in who.

Picked up a copy today – can anyone tell me, are all the back covers in a terrible state or did I just get a dodgy one (obviously as you can’t see inside the bag you cannot tell when purchasing) – all the other elements are fine but the back cover has weird indentations all over it…)

Well despite assurance that it’d be in the shops Friday or Saturday at the latest it still hasn’t shown up. Will probably be next Tuesday now like last month. Getting ridiculous now!

Not one copy here, in the North. Guess the deliveries are held up, due to the awful weather we’ve been having lately. Gonna try all the shops next week. All good things, come to those who wait.

    • Eraser

I ordered it on Friday which means it should be arriving by DPD on Monday. I haven’t heard a peep about whether it is or not, no despatch note, nothing. If it doesn’t arrive Monday, I’ll be expecting the extra delivery fee for courier refunded (because it’s not cheap). They’re clearly having huge distribution problems which won’t be their fault but they really need to get this sorted.

Buying Doctor Who related stuff is really becoming a pain. B&M figure sets, the DW Chronicles, Big Chief figures and now the magazine. None in local store. Not world ending but just disappointing.

It’s a real shame, but Doctor Who just doesn’t appeal to the masses anymore. Give it to Paramount, they’ll sort it out (like with Sonic the Hedgehog) 😉

    • Nath

      December 10th, 2022 - 8:22am

Ozzy not sure what your talking about since the reason behind not being able to get these things is due to the popularity spike everyone is going mad for the David tennant merch

    • Anomie

      December 10th, 2022 - 6:22pm

No it’s not nath, it the fact that for months merchandise has been failing to turn up including the magazine it’s got nothing to do with Tennant

Add to that the blu ray sets. Having major problems with my season 2 order. Finally on Its’ way after about a 3 week delay in despatch only to be stuck in transit yesterday and it might not even turn up today, despite assurances, which I take with a pinch of salt anyway after recent weeks

Most I’ve had are absolutely fine but I have had a couple damaged, with bad creases and broken spines (ouch). A few have very slight knocks, so I suppose depends on how they are handled in the delivery process. Panini replaced the badly damaged ones with no hassle and no cost.

I do wish they were sent in sturdier packaging but subscription costs might rise if they did I suppose.

Good issue this one too! Love the set visit report.

I HAVE JUST MADE IT AS THESE THINGS NOW HAVE TO BE PLANNED IN THE BUGET BUT BE WARNED IF THIS MAGAZINE GOES UP MUCH MORE THE MAGAZINE WOULD HAVE TO BE A BOOKAZINE OR THE MAGAZINE WILL OUT PRICE IT SELF

Hey Loobop, just on the issue of your BCS Tenth from Zavvi, as you may or may not remember, I’d ordered the 4th Doctor from them around the same & i got a prompt email saying my figure had been dispatched & should be arriving around 29th November. Well here we are now on 7th December & I’ve got no clue either where it is, or when it’s coming Just so you know your not on your own lol. As for the magazine, i always buy it anyway, regardless of it’s contents. I’ve been getting it for so long now it would just be weird not to lol.

It can take up to 6wks to set up any subscription depending on the promised promo terms and conditions and should state which issue it starts from on the confirmation email and when your first 6 monthly payment is due out of your bank.
All this should be clear from the start but if it was and it hasn’t then give them a call there always there to answer the phone and are very helpful and pleasant

On the details you get from Panini in the e-mails, it will say what the start issue is. I recently ordered a subscription but mine doesn’t start until issue 586 and the first collection is January. It sounds like you ordered yours before mine so it might be different for you. Just check the e-mails to see when your subscription is supposed to start.
