March 7th, 2022 - 4:43pmGreat read, just picked it up recently.
Being a collector of Who Merchandise I particularly like the Section on Fans own collections.
Many photos of Harrop Figurines on Display as well as lesser known figurines and even a few Eaglemoss figures. (Colin Baker is very prominent).

March 7th, 2022 - 5:39pmSomeone mentioned this already, but that photo does indeed look like those that you can cut out attach a piece of elastic too and use as a Face mask.

March 2nd, 2022 - 12:26pmThe next issue previews the Sea Devil story, is priced at £9.99 and has ‘ Exclusive bonus items’.

March 2nd, 2022 - 3:28pmThis will be the last issue for me. The mag has become too costly and, quite frankly, is nowhere near as good as it used to be. More pages of padding with the “World Cup” nonsense this issue – used to take me hours to read through, now about 30 minutes tops. £7 is already steep for a magazine, and a tenner next month is just too much. I wouldn’t spend £10 on a book, so it’s the end of the road I’m afraid. Such a shame.

March 3rd, 2022 - 12:49amIt’s to pay for the bonus items. You don’t have to buy it. And remember costs are increasing so a price hike is to be expected for the general magazine. I stopped buying it ten years ago as frankly I’d rather put the money towards a book or a film.

March 3rd, 2022 - 7:24pmI’ve been collecting the magazine since the late 80s, I’m afraid I will probably stop purchasing this soon, as too expensive and not much content in them any more, very sad but can’t justify having these now.

March 1st, 2022 - 11:28amAs there is no information on it, I guess this doesn’t mean we are getting The Collection Season 22 this month.
Ah well, it will arrive when its ready im sure

March 1st, 2022 - 12:58pmI don’t know for definite – but there is usually at least a mention on the cover.
And as that’s missing – I’m guessing not

March 2nd, 2022 - 10:00amI’ve just seen someone say there isn’t a preview for it. Season 22 wasn’t even mentioned

March 2nd, 2022 - 3:21pmWell BFI event soon so I would presume its this month or early April otherwise not much point in the promotion event for 22.

March 3rd, 2022 - 3:55pmYea the release date is usually within a couple of weeks after the BFI event for Collection box sets – or certainly has been for most releases up to now I think (I could be wrong)
So can only surmise something has happened here meaning they are holding back on the release date until they know they can meet it. Although that hasn’t stopped them in the past with the “delayed by 1 or 2 weeks we have seen on a lot of the sets so far.
Manufacturing issues maybe or even assembly of the content (special features – although I doubt it on the latter)

February 28th, 2022 - 8:42pmHave given up buying the magazine as it’s a shadow of it’s former self. Might be tempted with this though as it has the great man on the cover!!!
The West Lodge
February 28th, 2022 - 10:38pmThat would make a great mask, if it was a bit bigger! Indeed, great Doctor & great era. Cold Monday & Tuesday evenings back in 82. Pure bliss!

February 28th, 2022 - 8:30pmNice cover!!!

February 28th, 2022 - 8:24pmDesigning the Dalek Invasion of Earth. That’ll be a tribute to the late Spencer Chapman.

February 28th, 2022 - 6:52pmWill there be a special dr who magazine for the special for the autumn how about doing the winter dr who magazine again
Gareth Pugh
March 1st, 2022 - 7:22pmDo you mean the old ‘Winter Specials’ of the 80s and 90s? They pretty-much still do them, but from 2002 they moved away from calling them ‘Summer Special’ and ‘Winter Special’ to become 3 separate special issues a year – typically out in April, August and December (sometimes January) – for the last 7 or 8 years, the Dec/Jan one has been the ‘Yearbook’ format. (And then, on top of that, there are the 3 ‘bookazines’ per year – used to be themed, and now are dedicated to a particular year in Who history).

February 28th, 2022 - 5:02pmwhat a good cover
Prof Horner
February 28th, 2022 - 4:49pmThe last of the great original Doctors. Season 19 was the best eighties season and featured my favourite Doctor Who girl, Sarah Sutton.
Uncle Davros
February 28th, 2022 - 6:49pmALL the original Doctors were great. Colin & Sylv were just unlucky to be the Doctors during a time period when the show wasn’t as loved by the Beeb. Imagine the roles were reversed and Davison was cast in 1987 and given ‘Time and the Rani’ as his debut story and Sylv was cast in ’81 and given great stories like ‘Kinda’ and ‘Earthshock’ in his first season. Would your opinion still be the same??
Popplewick
February 28th, 2022 - 7:00pmI prefer Colin and his era to Peter’s any time.
…
March 1st, 2022 - 12:21amI’ve just watched earthshock. I was surprised by how slow it is. And the number of errors in it. And frankly the plot is all over the place. Poor nyssa has absolutely nothing to do. Still enjoyed it though
Chris Howarth
March 1st, 2022 - 9:14amI prefer Sylvester.

February 28th, 2022 - 4:38pmYay, it’s been quite awhile since we last saw big Pete on the cover.
