October 15th, 2020 - 6:26pmYour right there Mrs Croot. I bought it as did several people I know. All of us are very annoyed. I know of five people who have said they won’t buy the rest of the magazines and one who has said he won’t buy any of the magazine specials anymore either.

October 15th, 2020 - 12:15pmThey kept this Issue very quiet up until the actual release. Despite trying various avenues by email, I could get no information from anyone on this Issue. Now I know why – The ‘supposed’ 2nd Part of “Monstrous Beauty” only run’s to 8 pages & is glued in. Not even bothering to put it in the middle stapled. I am not happy with this at all! When the original advertising blurb was released it made it seem like it would be 3 separate Comics. I find this rather underhand.

The NEW comic Strip BAD BLOOD is a 13th Dr comic strip? yes have I got that right.
Monstrous Beauty part two and Three are in the magazine pages or like last month a seperate comic?
Does my Sub copy come with Monstrous Beauty, either internally or Seperate. ? or do we have to buy a seperate Mag from FP.

October 12th, 2020 - 2:03pmWe are all in the same boat, replies on twitter suggest its “in” the magazine, ie part of it rather than separate, but I’ve yet to see (unless anyone can correct me) a definitive answer from DWM
was part one of the Comic smaller than the magazine?

October 12th, 2020 - 2:18pmAs far as I can tell/interpret, ‘Bad Blood’ (as the anonymous poster says) is not a title so much as a headline for the cover, referring to the fact that Monstrous Beauty features vampires (hopefully that’s not too much of a spoiler, assuming anyone wanting to read part 1 has done so by now….) And ‘new comic strip’ perhaps isn’t meant to be taken as ‘a brand new story starts this issue’ but ‘new’ as in ‘previously unpublished instalment [of the current comic strip, that’s already begun]’.
I must admit, it seemed a bit strange having the TLV guide and articles inside the main mag last time and part 1 of Monstrous Beauty in the separate supplement; in a way, having all 3 parts in the mag itself, and the TLV guide stuff as a separate mag to keep handy across the TLV project to keep referring back to, might have made more sense? Dunno. I imagine it *WILL* get collected in a Panini GN in the not-too-distant future.

October 12th, 2020 - 2:21pmOh yes, sorry, I just remembered- DWM said on social media a couple of months back that 13th Doc comic strips would resume in issue 558 / on sale in December, so this won’t be referring to a new 13th Doctor strip, no.

October 12th, 2020 - 1:34pmWell that’s annoying. Decision time… do I bother buying the mag for the strip or just wait and see if its collected? They really should have said it wouldn’t be separate for all three or I wouldn’t have wasted my money on the first issue. Very very annoyed.
