September 14th, 2013 - 12:49pmonly if you opt for the specials
Anonymous
September 14th, 2013 - 1:59pmIf you’ve opted n for them through your subscription you will get them, if you have not opted in though you can contact them and ask them to change it (or to check if you have opted in).
Subscribers sometimes get a discount on these specials as well (normally just a pound but every little helps).

September 13th, 2013 - 7:06pmId love to see a model of that beautiful ahead-of-its-time minnow ship from space pirates…. but the ships are so under estimated in classic dr who….
The TARDIS
September 13th, 2013 - 5:41pmI think I’d most like to see a classic series TARDIS console.
HornsOfAzal
September 13th, 2013 - 6:20pmYou and me both – the original its still the best. The only one which ever came near was the Pertwee one seen in the three doctors.
The TARDIS
September 13th, 2013 - 4:43pmWhere is the questionnaire? I think I might fill it out if I still can.

September 13th, 2013 - 3:32pmOoh can’t wait to get it! March 2014’s a bit far of though for such a iconic thing in doctor who

September 13th, 2013 - 3:39pmIt seems reasonable enough, this would mean it is probably released at the same time as either issue 15 or 16 which matches up with their other collections.
It is also possible their date is slightly off compared to the actual release date, but it won’t be much (maybe late February at a push with issue 14).
booboo
September 13th, 2013 - 3:40pmthis date has come from the USA so could be wrong for the UK
Moodbeam
September 13th, 2013 - 4:22pmJust filled out this questionnaire. I really hope we DON’T get a Slitheen special. They were such a poorly produced monster and the farting was too childish. They actually had potential for a story where they hunt in their native form but they’d have to leave behind the gas, the human suits, and almost certainly become completely CGI for me to be happy.
HornsOfAzal
September 13th, 2013 - 3:20pmSmashing !!!! Lets hope a few versions of the console get produced too…
Wheres this questionaire thats been mentioned a few times please Ive not bene able to find it….
Anonymous
September 13th, 2013 - 3:30pmIf you go onto their website, up along the top there’s a link that talks about winning Amazon vouchers if you take it, if you go through that link it takes you to a copy of their questionnaire.
The ones listed are:
Slitheen
The Beast
Giant Robot
The TARDIS
The Face of Boe
Sarah Jane and K-9
Given the special issues they have for other ranges some of these will make up the first few specials. Not all of them will definitely come out, but it gives us a rough idea of what the first few could be.
HornsOfAzal
September 13th, 2013 - 3:37pmThanks for the info.
Hmmmmm wonder why the slitheen has to be a special…..Im probably not over enthused because I think theyre one of the worst aliens ever to appear in doctor who old or new…
Giant robot nice – but the giant robot produced in pieces by character online is superlative and would be hard to better being probably one of the best things they produced….
Anonymous
September 13th, 2013 - 3:50pmThe Slitheen are described as being 8 feet tall in one episode, so they’d be larger than most figures in the collection, which is what the special issues are designed for.
Their Marvel collection also included far larger figures at a smaller scale to make them more feasible although still larger than the rest of the figures (for instance the subscriber Emperor Dalek or the Beast in their questionnaire) and some twin packs (like that Sarah Jane and K-9 they have there). They’ll no doubt be trying to see what the reaction is for them with these.
HornsOfAzal
September 13th, 2013 - 4:03pmIf I were chosing ‘the specials’ Id go for something a little more unusual like a model showing the development of a wirrn from grub through human mutation ( i.e. noah turning into one )to imago…or kroll attacking the methane rig or possibly a ‘full drashig’ rather than the half of one produced by co…
HornsOfAzal
September 13th, 2013 - 4:05pmTook the opportunity of doing the questionaire to push for a dr who space craft mag along the line of the splendid star trek on currently on the market – as it happens I also pushed for a gerry anderson collection in the bit where it asked for my favourite tv shows…..
Anonymous
September 13th, 2013 - 4:12pmI don’t think that’s quite the route they’d go down, but something similar might happen. They could release a Wirrn and a Noah/Wirrn hybrid as a twin pack, or Kroll as one of their scaled down figures.
HornsOfAzal
September 13th, 2013 - 4:14pmI just want to see stuff that character options / underground toys should be doing but aren’t….
booboo
September 13th, 2013 - 4:22pmi would do a poll – but the list would be to big i think
Anonymous
September 13th, 2013 - 4:24pmAt a rate of one figure every two weeks plus specials that won’t take very long. In their predicted line up it first happens in issue 25 with the 2013 Zygon (although that story hasn’t aired yet so I’d give them a chance with that) then again with issue 29 which has the Gunslinger.
Anonymous
September 13th, 2013 - 4:25pmBooboo, perhaps the easiest thing to do is just create a wishlist page where people can post what they want to see rather than doing a poll.
booboo
September 13th, 2013 - 4:31pmmight do something, i think Luke was going to ask EM something as there is a lot of interest on here

September 13th, 2013 - 4:34pmHow about a round ‘planetary map’ desk surrounded by all of the Mission to the Unknown/Masterplan Delegates headed by the great Chen……
Anonymous
September 13th, 2013 - 4:38pmThe problem with that is it would require quite a few figures, but perhaps it is an idea for a premium subscription offer once the Daleks are done.
Pug Dalek
September 24th, 2013 - 12:22amThe desk can be in parts and the black dalek from the premium subscription sits in it two

September 13th, 2013 - 12:29pmDoes anyone know what the dimensions are? I’d just lie a rough idea how big it will be.

September 13th, 2013 - 10:09amyes, good sign we may get “Vehicles”
Anonymous
September 13th, 2013 - 10:52amMind you, the TARDIS was one of the ones listed in their questionnaire as being considered for a special so it might not be anything to do with fan demands.

September 13th, 2013 - 12:29pmHopefully, a Bessie and a Whomobile will follow!
Anonymous
September 13th, 2013 - 12:57pmIf their previous collections are anything to go by they’ll probably have already decided exactly what they are releasing, and that will be based on the results of their questionnaire (you can get a copy of this on their website). There’s a good chance they’ll go through some of those before moving onto anything else sadly (although some of their already proposed specials aren’t too bad).
