Guys no way 40 quid on ebay for this figure. Do not get fooled when you see Exclusive/Limited Edition…soon this figure I’m will be on the shelves of Forbidden Planet or even Asda for something like 10 pound, you’ll see (things like this happened in the past, see the Eternal Dalek, see the Cyberman ‘Argos Exclusive’, see the Underhenge…) Please, do not start to consider this figure like the Holy Grail NOW that has just been released. This is not a collector item yet and it’s not worth 40 pound, please be aware of that.

Exactly. They can call this figure exclusive as IT COMES WITH A SUIT CASE, but then if they were to release her WITHOUT HER SUITCASE, it would still be different and the suit case version would still be exclusive to the DWE.
Also the stone dalek was supposed to be exclusive to TOYS R US, but was then re-released in Forbidden planet.

The limited edition things is just a marketing thing, all figures will have a limit of some description but the actual number produced is incredibly large.

I can’t wait til Saturday, I wonder if my Aunt’s in it again (Eyepatch Lady seems to be making a regular appearance in this series, and Amy’s the only one who sees her – reminds me of Rose popping up in series 4)
    Is Amy pregnant?
Who tells the Doctor ‘Fear me, I’ve killed hundreds of Time Lords’?
    Who is the Doctor’s Wife?
Why did the Tardis blow up?
‘Silence will fall’ does that relate to their downfall or something more sinister?

    and finally

How wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey can doctor Who get?

    Oh, I love it

Doctor Who Series 6 figures I waould like to see:

    Rory
    River
    Doctor with Stetson
    Amy
    Amy in Pirate outfit
    Captain Avery
    Canton
    The Silence (Closed Mouth)
    The Silence (Open Mouth)
    Astronaut
    Lady Kovarian (Eyepatch Lady)
    The Siren
    Green Eyed Ood
    Cyberleader
    Rory in Roman Outfit
    Cyberman
    Ganger
    Craig

These are all just speculation from pictures I’ve seen (Rory in front of Cybermen)but I know one is confirmed, and I may be getting it signed…

I’m going again in July, maybe I’ll pick up a couple of Amelia figures, we’ll see – but I’m looking forward to seeing (or not seeing) The Silence and Daleks in the street, sweet – going dressed as 11th Doctor, shall I wear the Fez or the Stetson (both are equally cool); blue bow tie or red bow tie – lol, you wouldn’t think I’m 28 this Sunday

    • booboo

      May 11th, 2011 - 7:33pm

Yes, there was even a link to a shop on the Doctor who experience website which was taken of a while ago – i have said all along that people want to buy exclusives like t shirts mugs pens etc from these venues but they seem to be taking so long in doing them, when we went there was nothing – if they produced existing figures in special Experience packaging people would still but them even if they already have them.

I’m happy that this is comming out alast but why an exlusive to the exhibition. This is worse than Forbidden Planet as you can’t buy it online.

My only other concideration is that will we get a hatless version out in the shops as they don’t normaly do a new sculpt for exlusives
