Step into the Tardis with Zavvi UK and our collection of official Doctor Who merchandise!

Take a trip through time, and browse our collection of Doctor Who gifts, toys, clothing, posters, and extended merchandise that includes a great range of products featuring the different versions of the Doctor through the ages.

Jump aboard the TARDIS alongside the Fourth Doctor (Sold Out) with this 1/6 Scale Figure, accurately sculpted after the appearance of the fan-favourite Tom Baker.

Walking through eternity in his outlandish and eccentric attire, his trademark long scarf trailing his footsteps, the Fourth Doctor cuts a striking image. Complete with his fedora hat, a bag of Jelly Babies, and his ever‐reliable Sonic Screwdriver, this Fourth Doctor scale figure appears just as he did in the show.

Christopher Eccleston revitalised the Doctor Who TV series with his unique approach to the fan-favourite Time Lord, and now you can capture his intense screen presence with the Ninth Doctor 1/6 Scale Figure.

Sporting a basic well‐worn leather jacket, plain V-neck sweater, and black trousers, the Ninth Doctor stood apart from his predecessors’ eccentric fashion styles. In addition to his unassuming outfit, this Ninth Doctor figure also comes equipped with a range of fancy accessories, including his Sonic Screwdriver, Psychic Paper Wallet, and a Robot Spider Orb.

David Tennant made his debut as the Tenth Doctor in 2005. He would portray the character for three consecutive series and a number of specials.

Tennant’s Tenth Doctor would go on to become one of the most beloved versions of the Time Lord, largely in part to his ability to turn from carefree adventurer to intimidating figure in an instant.

Dressed in his synonymous tweed jacket and bowtie, the Eleventh Doctor travelled through time and space aboard the TARDIS. Sonic Screwdriver in hand and fez atop his head, this larger-than-life alien was prepared for whatever the universe threw at him.

Filling the shoes of his immediate predecessor, Matt Smith, Capaldi gave the Twelfth Doctor qualities that set him apart from the Time Lords of old. He was sharp, impatient, and often insensitive, yet he still managed to retain the bravery and heroism fans have come to expect from the Doctor.

Thanks Coleman. My issue with the original 4th was the five o”clock shadow and the pale flesh tone. It was a good face sculpt. I’ve ordered it from Zavi and hoping for the best!!!

Yes, I think it might have been an Email from Big Chief that I received along time ago that they had moved Factories and were using the same Paint app artists that Hot Toys use.
I’ve just bought the Zavvi Tom recently too so hopefully the Paint apps will have been updated. (As they promised).

Seems like I had a lucky escape. I was going to order Zavvis Tom Baker figure Two years ago using Spli-it. But they wouldn’t accept Debit Cards.
Whew. What’s the point of trying to pay in installments to make it more Affordable. Then they still take out the money all at once.
      Am I missing something?

Its very clear how they work on their website and why its on credit cards only.

Its not a good option for long lead in pre orders as you could just save it anyway.

They “pre authorise” the full amount and deduct it from your credit limit so the instalments are always available to them so you cant spend it on other things. Its just sensible business with no risk to them.

Yes, even though the Zavvi figures are re-releases Ive heard the paint Apps will be improved.
I heard quite awhile ago that Big Chief had changed the Factory they were using and are now using the same team that makes Hot Toys figures.
So going forward they said you should notice an improvement in paint Apps.
To be fair, I always thought Big Chiefs Facial paint Apps were very good.
My only issue with them is they seem to put a Gloss finish on the hair piece, which makes the hair look really Greasy. (No one has hair like this unless you havnt washed it for a month).
I hope they take a Leaf out of Hot Toys book and make the hair with a more Matte finish. (It looks real, just like their faces)

A WARNING I just had a pretty bad experience trying to order one of these. I used ‘split-it’ so I could spread the cost only to find ‘it takes the full amount from your credit card and reduces it monthly’ well what’s the point of that? May as well just pay the full amount as presumably one’s credit card will charge more interest over those months. To add insult to injury, you can’t just cancel the order, you have to write and ask them to cancel it. Here’s hoping they do.

I,m assuming thats the case Jay. There are those that aren,t actually collectors that have latched onto all things Who and see an opportunity. Its the same with the character, Eaglemoss and Harrop merch. Theres the usual character preorders already for the B and M products. There are many opportunists as there are altruistic people. Anything goes.

I’m confused as to exactly what 4th Doctor Zavvi’s even offering. The one on their site has a beautiful face. The one on the Big Chief site… well… they have the one that looks like Zavvi’s, but then there’s a “Definitive” one that has a crackhead face that looks like David Tennant mated with Mr. Bean. Are all their actual, in-hand heads the crackhead one?

    • Coleman

      September 20th, 2022 - 10:34am

Hello, in Hand there Two different Headsculps. The “Nice” version is from an old Figure Big Chief produced awhile ago and both Zaavi and Big Chief are releasing it again. Hopefully next month (October).
The “Crackhead” Sculpt is The Definitive version and is not out while at least December, maybe even later. (Next Year).
So don’t worry if your planning on ordering any of the Doctors, all the Five Zaavi figures are the older. (In my opinion) better sculpts.

True Silent, it was a Zaavi Exclusive, but they buy them off Big Chief, they are a Big Chief product after all.. Their were also all released years ago by Big Chief and are just reissues.
I should imagine the Zavvi Exclusives will still have Big Chief stamped on the box.

      September 18th, 2022 - 8:41pm

Do the 2 different versions on Big Chief’s site both use the same 10th Doctor’s head? The “Definitive” one looks TERRIBLE but the one on Zavvi’s site (and further down Big Chief’s site) has a significantly nice looking head. Do they both have the same head when actually in-hand?

    • Coleman

      September 20th, 2022 - 10:52am

Hello again. All the better Headsculps (in my Opinion) come with the figures that Zavvi are selling. All the five Doctors Zavvi are selling are re-releases of the ORIGINAL Doctors, that Big Chief have made before. They are all Hopefully being released next month, (October).
The others you seem to have issues with are all the Definitive Versions what won’t be out for a Year or Two. Apart from Tom who could be available after December.
(I know it’s complicated but I’ve done my best to Explain).
Anyway stick with the Zavvi versions and you’ll be ok, and keep away from the Definitive Editions.
Although I’ve purchased a definitive Version of Tom because I was after a Signature Edition.

Are the comments on the CO figs closed? I wanted to say that the two sets don’t come to 2.50 each as you’re still charged with 9.99 for two sets, with free shipping,so I just can’t see how that comes to 2.50 per set. Or is my math that bad, lol.

But back on topic. Are these worth the price they are charging? They look pretty good, but I have the same issue with the Trek ones from Exo-6 and Hot Toys……they look really good but are really pricey.

Oh right,so THAT’s how they see it! Was kinda curious since my account would still be charged 9.99,lol. Thanks booboo.

I REALLY like the Tennant figure here and very tempted to get him. But am I opening a can of worms here ‘cos if I really like it when I get it I might want more, lol!

What their “Worth” is, is very Subjective.
An items Worth is only as much as someone is willing to pay for it, I’m afraid.

      September 13th, 2022 - 5:17am

That’s true Coleman. I have items in my collection that I’ve paid quite a bit for,but they’re worth every cent…….since I paid in dollars, lol. And I’m still looking for more. Hopefully I’ll find some of it at NYCC again in October. Defo trying to get that Hallmark Dalek orny, but that’s just a meager 30 bucks, lol. I might give Tennant a go,and who knows…..maybe I’ll end up with summat new to collect, lol.

I’m still trying to get the money on my cancelled order for the Capaldi figure refunded zaavi denied I ever paid for it and still refuse to refund even though they have seen proof of the deducted installments – they dont even respond to my complaints any more.

    • Popplewick

      September 7th, 2022 - 12:30am

Astounded these have even appeared on their website as Zaavi’s staff didnt have a clue what was going on with the figures. It was the complete lack of info which made me cancel the order. Was especially shocked to hear that Big Chief were having nothing to do with the production of the figures beyond providing zaavi the plans.

      September 14th, 2022 - 10:29am

Yes thanks jay. I thought you were already an avid collector of these. How many do you own and do you have any commemorative or signature editions? I have clara and rose signed. Im wanting Amy signedbut waiting for a cheaper price, I wouldn,t mind 13th signature either. Do you have 6th, The master or K-9 on preorder, I cancelled mine along with the definitive doctors (after Eaglemoss i started to fear the worst with regards to preorders) but may reorder when released in shop, i can always look out for props on kitbash. I hope zavvi comes through this time as ive ordered 12th with 4th but thats the one thats most sought amongst these.

    • Jay

      September 14th, 2022 - 4:12pm

Hi Ergon. I only own a few of these figures so far. I have the tenth doctor from Series 4, the 13th signature edition, the fourth now on pre-order with Zavvi and the sixth doctor on pre-order with Big Chief, when it finally comes. I got tempted by the 10% off, and realising Big Chief had the figures recently after getting an e-mail, but knew they would take the money out straight away. I didn’t take them up on pre-ordering with them as I have lost trust in them. I would love the Delgado Master but I’m not pre-ordering with BC until they have an estimated date for delivery, and even then I’ll be waiting until closer to the actual date, so might end up missing it. I just don’t want to take the risk.

    • the ergon

      September 14th, 2022 - 4:47pm

I know what you mean, the only downside is you lose the incentives and thats where companies like Big chief have got hold of you and its all about getting the revenue in early for them. When customers have to wait sometimes years for their merchandise you,d think the least they could do is provide monthly updates to people on their database.

    • Jay

      September 14th, 2022 - 6:57pm

I agree ergon. I contacted BC earlier in the year to say that I think they should have better communication with the customers, and be giving more regular updates on the pre-orders that they have. It’s a shame as you say, you end up losing the incentives if you don’t get in their early enough, but you also feel that you are losing a lot of money at the time, as the orders take so long to get to you.

These were supposedly released last Feb., but it’s now been 4 months with no delivery info in sight. I’ve tried contacting Zavvi but they can’t seem to do anything about it, nor give me any idea as to when these may be shipped. The wait time on this is getting a little ridiculous. This will be my first DW figure and I was really excited about it. But I just don’t know how much longer it will be worth the wait.

Note that these are pre-orders for July 30th release. If you’re lucky.

This seems to be something that Zavvi are doing more and more of – buying out the remaining stocks or limited edition runs of canceled lines. But there’s no guarantee that they’ll be released on the date they list. I ordered two sets of Eaglemoss Game of Thrones figurines back in August of last year, that were supposed to have been released in October. The first set shipped in January. The second set still hasn’t shipped. They just sent me (YET ANOTHER) email saying that it will be delayed (AGAIN) until April. At this point, I think those are just automatic emails they send out when something doesn’t ship, and has nothing to do with any actual release or stock dates. I’m not sure what’s taking these figurines so long, considering that they were manufactured years ago. I get that covid causes some delays, but it’s been seven months!

On the plus side, if Eaglemoss ever cancels their Doctor Who line, Zavvi may be a good source for picking up a bunch on clearance cheaply. The Game of Thrones sets were 22 figurines for $60 US, even cheaper than Eaglemoss’ own previous clearance sale.

These are a brand new run of older long sold out figures with less accessories and with a lower price point than similar figures today. They are made by and sold to retailers by Big Chief and are available exclusively to Zavvi in the UK and other retailers worldwide

they are not old stock or cancelled lines.

any “delay” will not be down to Zavvi either, they will get them when Big Chief supply them.

Yes that all you want, spending £200 on a figure then when it arrives youve already got it, because it’s a different figure their selling to the one in the photos.

    • Richard Phillips

      March 10th, 2021 - 11:58am

Okay okay, so I had another wee look and now I’m super worried this is just the series seven one. Cause In the description it says
      1 x Hairpiece (standard)
      1 x Hairpiece (fez)

Which would suggest you can put the fez on, which you shouldn’t be able to do with the series 6 one, so either they have just put the series 7 head on this body or it is just the series 7 figure

For anyone who is interested Big Chief still have a number of extra accessories available for the new release figures on their website including a 9th Doctor black jumper, 10th doctor and 12 doctor accessories including Series 9 and 10 sonic screwdriver and sunglasses and even the 11 doctor alternative stetson head from Series 6. Sadly nothing was ever made separate for the 4th doctor apart from the smiling head which sold out long ago 🙁

If only the fourth Doctor’s coat was that colour instead of the redder version that comes with the figure. Unlike most of the figures, the prototype photos of Tom were better than the final figure.

New Zavvi Exclusive Figure runs – they’re legit. These are new figures runs. However, they’re a stripped down version of these figures.
    – All 5 figures will use a single common box design with cross sell on the back panel.
    – The figures will come with 4 basic accessories and 4 hands.
    – The base will be the usual hexagon base in silver with the Doctor Who logo.
    – Essentially these are a completely different edition, at a slightly lower price point.
    – This will offer fans the chance to collect the figures that they may of missed.
Zavvi approached them with a large order, but they took these steps to make sure they weren’t straight re-releases to preserve the figure’s collectibility. For the record most figures never had their full runs manufactured in the first place:
    4th Doctor 50th Anniversary
    Edition Size: 1000 pcs
    Manufactured: 700 pcs
    9th Doctor series 1
    Edition Size: 1500 pcs
    Manufactured: 1000 pcs
    10th Doctor series 4
    Edition Size: 2000 pcs
    Manufactured: 1500 pcs
    11th Doctor series 6
    Edition Size: 2000 pcs
    Manufactured: 1650 pcs
    12th Doctor aeries 8
    Edition Size: 1000 pcs
    Manufactured: 1000 pcs

Do you have figures for the first Doctor? Do these figures include the signed ones?

You say “lower price point” but they’re all more expensive than the original run, aren’t they?

I was wondering about that. Stripped down versions but more expensive? Makes no sense. Would love to get 10th Doctor, but not at this price. 150 quid or less, and I’d get him.

I guess the lower price point is compared to their actual pricing. If they made them in full and at the same price as they were people who bought them years ago would also be complaining, there is no pleasing everyone. For some of them your getting a really good price. Last 12th doctor that sold on ebay was almost 400£, one with no box less hands etc.. for 200£. And the 4th doctor can fetch much more than that. Same thing for the 10th which is going to be much more expensive after these are sold since the new one will have the brown suit that mean no 10th doctor in his blue suit for a very long time. But yeah for 9th and 11th you can find them on ebay for less than that.

If they “made them in full and at the same price as they were” they would be cheaper than these reissues are so no-one would be “complaining”. I have no idea of what you think “lower price point” actually means! LOL.

People who bought them years ago would be complaining that they re-release limited edition collectible, and with better paints apps and clothes ( since those are made by the new factory it has been confirmed that they will have new paint jobs) So why bought a figure now if you can still buy it in a few years at the same price and better paints etc.. ? Like i said the “lower price point” surely means compare to actual figure and the price on ebay etc..

I think Zavvi have secured their own limited run of these! So they’re almost straight re-releases, but with fewer accessories?

I remember ages ago Big Chief said they wanted to re-release some of the earlier Who figures, so perhaps this is the form they’re taking?

Are these actual figures from big chief because in the description of some of them, they have less accesories than they did when they were at big chief. like with the 10th doctor on Zavvi it looks like he just has his Screwdriver, psychic paper and glasses thats about it.

They are Big Chief figures, all the images have BCS in the bottom right, some accessories were exclusive to Big chief. It could be Zavvi have sourced these from sideshow, a USA distributor for Big Chief.

Its interesting though that no one is actually referring to them as Big Chief

To confirm… these have been sold out at Big Chief. So I am wondering how Zavvi have these figures for pre order?

Potentially, Icould see this causing problems for the 2000+ customers of Big Chief that bought these in good faith that they we’re truly limited editions.

Not just Zavvi, These have been on IKON, the Australian wholesaler for a while and up for order at retailers there, this is clearly a new, second run of some long sold out figures.

In one of their update videos last year, BCS said they would be “revisiting” some products to celebrate their tenth birthday this year. One of the teaser images was definitely Matt Smith in silhouette.
Great chance for anyone who missed out last time, but the limited edition conundrum might be a problem.

Sounds like their producing more with the release date in July. Surely if it was some old stock found in the back of a warehouse, they’d be selling them straight away?

I wonder what is exclusive about them…maybe its just their availability.

What with all this freak weather worldwide, then a worldwide pandemic, then a few nights ago that meteor burning up over England, now this? I’m beginning to think I’m having a huge nightmare that surely one day I’ll wake up. (Because nothing makes sense anymore).

That is a strange one considering some of these sold out years ago. There all limited editions that had fixed numbers, so there not really allowed to produce more.

This happened with some Goldfinger First Editions back in 2018 when Zavvi suddenly had stock of them. I know a lot of people will be happy as the only one I have seen in stock on Big Chief in recent memory was 9th but 10th 11th 12th sold out quite quickly. 4th was on the BBC Shop when that was around for 150 so fingers crossed 1st materializes in some form!!

booboo I think he means they are all sold out on the Big Chief site for some time now but great that these have materialized for order on Zavvi as they very rarely have any decent who-related merchandise but another chance to get these is fantastic… I have gone for Tom who is the best of the lot in my opinion of course 🙂
