Doctor Who Adventures issue 282

Doctor Who Adventures issue 282

It’s been an interesting meek in the Cafegerji System. I turned up to watch the famous Dragon Meteor tear through their crimson skies. It only happens once every seven trillion years, so, as you can imagine, I didn’t want to miss it.

I certainly didn’t miss it as the TARDIS materialised around it and the meteor got lodged in my bathtub.

It took Five plumbers nine Cafegerji hours to get it out and on its may again. Sorry about that!

Also inside…

*Devil Darvill
*Who’s Who
*Plan your own Doctor Who Adventure
*Monster makeovers
*24 hour news invasion (comic)
*companions and more

Plus… Design a spaceship!…

We’re looking for the best designs for a brilliant new spaceship. Our favourite one will be made into a cool clay model and displayed at the Doctor Who Experience, in its brand-new home in Cardiff, as part of a new Doctor Who Adventures display.

How awesome is that? What’s more, the winning spaceship will feature in an exciting comic strip in Doctor Who Adventures! Your design will actually be in a story with the Doctor! So get inventing and draw a picture of your spaceship. Plus, let us know who it belongs to and why it’s special.

This weeks issue, priced ยฃ2.60, comes with a mega monster set including stamps, bubble stickers, keyring and more. Also included are more monster invasion cards…

from the amount of free monster invasion cards they give, you could probably get the whole set just by buying the magazines

It depends what you like doctor who magazine is very detailed and sometimes give away great posters or artcards. Or dwa which is for younger audiences gives away a free gift every week most of the time not vrry. good in my opinion and cool posters every week. Ithink dwm as it works out cheaper than dwa and I just like it better.

I always love these “box sets”. Trouble is that if you just merely collect the magazine and never remove the gifts, it is very difficult getting a box that is not crushed on at least one side. Any newsagent that gets one or two copies always has this problem. In the supermarkets, they come in plastic kanbans, which protects any sort of magazine (except the very large packs when sometimes the staff fold them)

Do we design the outside or the inside of the “Design a spaceship” comp? Because there’s picture of the TARDIS inside and DWE corridor and a picture of the TARDIS outside and Dalek Spaceship outside!!!! ๐Ÿ˜• ๐Ÿ˜•

I don’t think there is such a thing as ball-joint legs ? Wouldn’t have thought so, but you should go and check one of the youtube reviews.

Awwww I hope they don’t stop the MI cards. I only have around 120 of Extreme and 80 of Set 1. Luckily the booster boxes are on the website, and I probably think that they will be until MI stops. On my birthday I’ll be asking for one! ๐Ÿ˜€

I’m not booboo, but the mega moment is the scene in Vincent and the Doctor where the Visual Recognition System shows images of the first two Doctors.
The Slitheen secrets bit is a look at how the Slitheen costume was made. ๐Ÿ™‚

If I were to choose a mega moment, I’d probably choose:

From The Classic Series: The Cybermen are revealed at the end of Earthshock, Part One.

From the New Series: The Doctor says goodbye to the sleeping Amelia in The Big Bang.

    • moxx of who

      August 16th, 2012 - 6:37pm

the new companion cant be in the comic strip that long because of Jenna joining unles they put her in the comic when she officaly joins. Also i thnk amy and rory in the comic strip are having adventures set before the God complex so they should get knew clothes soon when the series comes back!

    • Give me a Dalek any day

      August 16th, 2012 - 6:57pm

All the comic strip adventures are set before The God Complex, even during Series 7.

Sorry, I was meant to put even whilst Series 7 is on.
