Doctor Who follows the adventures of the last Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey who simply goes by the name “The Doctor”. At the end of the 2013 season, The Doctor regenerated into his new form and new personality, and is portrayed by legendary Scottish actor Peter Capaldi.
This new incarnation, the Twelfth Doctor, is a spiky, brusque, pragmatic, yet funny, passionate and fearless character who travels with his companion, Clara Oswald. His adventures with (and without) Clara in the 2014 season lead him to make tough and ruthless decisions that make him question his character and the value of his travels.
This all new 5 inch tall figure showcases the new look The Doctor takes on after the regeneration, featuring his now signature dark blue Crombie-style coat with red lining, dark blue trousers, a long collared white shirt buttoned to the top with no tie, and brogue boots. He also comes with his trusty sonic screwdriver.

September 19th, 2015 - 6:42amAnyone have any news on where to get this new 5-inch stuff in Australia.
Cpl Hicks
September 18th, 2015 - 6:30pmTaking onboard the comments about his height, and that it says 5.5 inch collector series on the box, does this mean its a completely new range from the original 5 inch, and that more figures will appear in this format?
booboo
September 18th, 2015 - 6:43pmno wont be
the scale has always been 5.5″ the 5″ coming form the hight of the Dalek and its rot of “stuck”

September 18th, 2015 - 2:54pmJust picked up the white and polka dot versions at Forbidden Planet Sheffield. Can’t wait to display them
GallifreyanKnight
September 17th, 2015 - 10:22pmI got mine earlier today, and aside from the fact that I can’t get the head off to swap it for the superior version from the TOTD set, I absolutely love it.
I am annoyed that the cardigan wasn’t included though, but I’m already working on ways to fix that.
The height doesn’t bother me either. Peter does strike me as being very tall anway, so it’s fine with me.
Greg
September 18th, 2015 - 12:57pmI met him at the Doctor Who Symphonic Concert at Wembley and he is quite tall!

September 17th, 2015 - 6:01pmWho north America just got this figure & one with an all black shirt in today
Pat
September 17th, 2015 - 8:49amThe only thing i found bizarre about the figure is that when you put it side by side with all previous doctor figures it not only dwarves them but is taller than the new era cyberman sculpts. It is considerably over sized…
booboo
September 17th, 2015 - 11:44amyes few people have commented on that
Doctor_Number 10
September 17th, 2015 - 2:32pmLike how much taller?

September 17th, 2015 - 4:53pmWell the 9th doctor figure from the Toys R Us Doctor & Dalek set is only as tall as the 12th doctor figures shoulders

September 17th, 2015 - 5:25pmAl dewar said it was a mistake like the first 3.75″ being too small

September 16th, 2015 - 11:25amHey Everyone!
GOOD NEWS!
Mine just arrived and the crombie jacket DOES HAVE RED LINING.
Couldn’t believe it myself when i opened it and the head sculpt is better than expected too!
Derek Dalek
September 16th, 2015 - 5:56pmI got mine today too and was pleasantly surprised with the head sculpt. I had seen photos and watched a review on Youtube, but it definitely looks better ‘in the flesh’ so to speak. I was in two minds about ordering this figure, but I’m really glad I got it now.

September 16th, 2015 - 1:36amI hope if they do make a figure based on his outfit from series 9 they actually make a newer head sculpt with the longer hair.
TheAgeOfUltron
September 15th, 2015 - 4:15pmIf they make a series 9 Hoodie 12th Doctor I bet there will be tons of variants of tops:
.White top with tartan trousers with swappable head with (spoiler) sonic glasses.
.Black top with black trousers with swappable head with (spoiler) sonic glasses.
.(Last Christmas) Black Polka Dot top with black trousers.

September 15th, 2015 - 3:53pmmight seem a daft question but when you say in store you mean online one as well as actual local stores?
booboo
September 15th, 2015 - 3:55pmmost toys r us exclusives just turn up in store (like the B&M stuff) and it usually takes a while for it to go on line
They did put some of the Doctor Dalek sets up for pre order before stocks arrived in their shops
either way we will have the info “the day it happens”
Darren

Alan
September 14th, 2015 - 9:45pmConfused as to why they use the classic logo on the packaging as he is the current Doctor?
GallifreyanKnight
September 14th, 2015 - 11:38pmThey’ve been using the classic logo on some selected toys for years now.
TheAgeOfUltron
September 14th, 2015 - 9:02pmIf they decide to make a Red Velvet coat version from series 9 they would use this figure paint the coat red, add a waist coat and swap the head with the TOTD head sculpt and lighten the hair.
Aidan Gula
September 15th, 2015 - 7:56amAs much as I like the red coat, and the blue crombie and hoodie look, I’m sad that he doesn’t wear the blue crombie, white shirt, and waistcoat in series 9.
Dalek the Supreme
September 14th, 2015 - 8:15pmThat is gorgeous packaging. The figure doesn’t look half-bad either.
booboo
September 14th, 2015 - 8:18pmthe packaging is very sensible as you can get a really good took at the figure if you like to “choose”
Problem with the Time of the Doctor and Sherlock is the packaging gets mauled by people opening every one to check the paint apps
The Silent Silent
September 14th, 2015 - 6:21pmCAN WE HAVE MORE PICS OF THE 12TH DOCTOR FIGURE PLEASE ????

Chris
September 14th, 2015 - 5:10pmHas anyone got a good method for keeping the end of the Doctor’s Crombie coat held back, so that you can see some of the red lining when looking at the figure from the front?
Aidan Gula
September 15th, 2015 - 7:58amYou could move back the jacket, then put his hand down (like in the picture) which will stop it from moving forward.
Matt
September 14th, 2015 - 4:39pmHow long do u reckon stick at fpi will last booboo
100000BC
September 14th, 2015 - 4:37pmWow, FANTASTIC figure! I want all four now!
The head looks much better and much more like Capaldi than it did in 3.75″. I also prefer it to the one featured in the Time of the Doctor set (although I’ll have to see how it looks in-hand before I make that judgement).
I also love the coat lining.
I will try to get the purple/red or the black one.
Depending on their availability and price I may get both.
I hope we get a red coated S9 model too!
TARDISGuy
September 14th, 2015 - 4:13pmSo, no Australian chains picking this up? Great, looks like I’ll have to spend a fortune on Ebay
