The ones I want to get first are:

Skovox Blitzer, Mutant Scoop Dalek, Tenth Doctor in Blue Suit and Coat, Clara, Day of the Daleks Supreme, Genesis Dalek, Asylum Dalek, Claw-Arm Dalek and Sensor Arm Dalek.

Not too bothered about the others yet.

The Genesis and Asylum Daleks have been out for a while, the Assault (claw) & Imperial Guard (sensor arm) have been out even longer & Clara longer still, depending on which variant you want.

I know but I’ve only just started collecting them. Those are the ones on the top of my list.

The Eleventh Doctor variant may not be accurate, but it’s awesome. I could definitely imagine him wearing it during his 200 years avoiding death!

Glad I didn,t rush in to buy the mcgann dalek set from TRU now,as I already had the red COTR dalek. Skovox blitzer is probably the only one I,d be interested in.colour irrelevant.

The Skovox is the right size and great mould, but the colours are horrible. I guess it’s the same with 3.75″. You get the mould OR paint correct.

I’m loosing faith with Character, all we’re getting are cheap re-releases of bad toys. The 3.75″ line you end up with more bad figures than good ones. If Character weren’t so lazy, we’d probably get a brand new sculpt but obviously not, well we have that Skovox Blitzer so I can’t moan too much, I’d just rather have 5″ line back

Doesn’t make a difference if its 3.75 or 5″ you still going to have releases their nothing wrong with the 3.75 line I personally prefer to the 5″

      December 3rd, 2014 - 11:50am

I am fully agreed with you, Mumble5557 that the 3.75 figure aren’t that better than the 5 inch. it has more details than the 3.75 figures.

I am too loosing my confidence with Character Online. But we have to be patient with Character and see what happens.

Looks like the 10th Doctors sonic screwdriver is still painted wrong with the backside being blue and the front black. They just turned it around in the picture to make it look correct. WHY CANT THEY FIX THIS???

    December 2nd, 2014 - 11:32pm

I actually spoke with on twitter about that mess of an Eleventh Doctor figure, he told me to make it accurate,( which is the whole point of the figures in the first place! ) it would require expensive re tooling, I thought, ah well, fair play, etc, but then I realized they could just use the torso off of the tweed jacket eleventh doctor and do a simple repaint, so when I suggest that he do this, he gets annoyed and blocks me, Just shows Characters main priorities nowadays…

I once spoke to him on twitter. It was the first time I had ever tweeted him and I only asked a harmless question which was ‘Will we ever see the new cb TARDIS playset?’ and he blocked me instantly.

    • Braxos

      December 3rd, 2014 - 10:48am

Well that is the point, the tweed torso does not fit on the long jacket body, so it can’t be done without expensive tooling.

Continually saying it can don’t change the fact it can’t.

    • Dr Wu

      December 4th, 2014 - 10:44am

It does actually, tried it myself, I used the tweed figure as a base, took off the jacket and arms and replaced them with the eleventh doctor wave one jacket and arms because there the same mold, again, inaccurate much! but yeah, whilst its not perfect it fits properly and even without repainting, if you put the green coat on the tweed body it would still be an accurate the girl who waited figure, I understand people still think character care, but trust me, they don’t.

    • booboo

      December 4th, 2014 - 12:37pm

They are not going to invest in new tooling and production line just to make small change on a £6 toy.

you clearly have no understanding of the way things work

    • DWFAN1

      December 11th, 2014 - 9:17pm

I did the same with my bells of saint john custom still have to buy another tweed

    • Dr Wu

      December 11th, 2014 - 10:46pm

Yeah, i suppose its ignorant to think that a business that sells figures that are supposed to be screen accurate would ACTUALLY PUT EFFORT IN TO MAKE THEM SCREEN ACCUARATE, i mean we might as well have a pink jacketed twelfth doctor, I mean its not screen accurate, but hey, at least it required no “expensive tooling” If you cant do it then don’t just rehash an old figure that’s inaccurate and expect no one to notice!

Love the Blitzer and I quite like Tennant and Gold Dalek. 11th is just wrong and Amy looks tragic (#onefootofftheground). 12th is just a re-release so can’t comment really (but would like some lining in that coat of his).

I’d like to see a MOTOE playset with Foretold and maybe a Karabraxos set with the Teller. I also would like to see a Paternoster Row Gang 3 set (Vastra, Jenny and Strax) and most definitely the Half Face Man as a well sculpted figure (or else…)

    My best to worst of the wave (I won’t rank the 12th Doctor, because he is just a re-release);

    1. Skovox Blitzer
    2. Gold Supreme Dalek
    3. Tenth Doctor
    4. Amy
    5. Eleventh Doctor

Despite what some may say, I’m pretty pleased with this batch. The highlight for me is of course the Skovox, which is BRONZE not GOLD may I point out? It’s also an excellent-looking figure given the scale, and something of a deluxe one that we’ve not really seen since the likes of The Face of Boe, Empress of the Racnoss, Reaper…etc, so I’m fairly happy with it. Rest of the wave looks alright too, I like the Gold Dalek, and the variants don’t bother me too much. As long as we can get one or two Series 8 monsters like Skovox alongside them…

What took the biscuit was the ultra rare variants which I hope is never repeated.
