Whoops! I only have enough money for two figures. I’ll stick with The Doctor and an Ice Warrior.

    They are beautiful.

I’ve worked out it will cost me £72.91!

That’s for all 6 figures, the TARDIS and the playsets!

Are the pictures on the site of preproduction samples or actual production figures? Because preproduction figures always have clean paintjob while mass production would seem closer to the promo shots.

    • booboo

      May 15th, 2013 - 11:03pm

I have no idea, they are the official images sent to retailers by Character

The Cyberman in the pictures taken by Mr Fusion looks 100x better

    • Lior Knight

      May 15th, 2013 - 11:37pm

Sorry not gonna lie, although the ice warrior dalek and weeping able look. The others look terribly cheap and bad. I understand that the smaller they are the harder it is to lock I. The detail. But these are beyond awful

      May 15th, 2013 - 8:46pm

i didn’t look that closely, i dont tend to scrutinise

The problem is these figures are small and the the images dont do them justice, i would just wait to see them in hand, they looked ok at the toy fair and images i have seen of the actual figures look much better, especially the cyberman

      May 15th, 2013 - 9:05pm

I don’t know about you guys but when I first heard about the 3.75 inch I reacted in some way along the lines of slamming my head several times against the wall.-_-

  • Jordan

    May 15th, 2013 - 8:21pm

wow these figures look absolutely awful! The doctor looks like a cheap fast-food toy The Cybermans face has poor detail The Weeping Angel looks very poor to! The Ice Warrior looks ok to be completely honest and Clara but i’m afraid Character options have gone way down hill. If there’s another wave they defiantly need to have alot more detail but should remake another 11th Doctor, Amy Pond (From The Angles Take Manhattan, 60’s Asylum Daleks, 70’s Asylum Dalek, The Gunslinger, and A Rory Williams figure

    • Scott the Raptor

      May 16th, 2013 - 4:53am

No they couldn’t. The cyber items are much smaller than cybermats. They’d practically be invisible.

    • DoctorWhoFan101

      May 15th, 2013 - 7:39pm

I thought that as well. I was like… OH! THATS A SURPRISE. But I guess its because
      A. Those Daleks were more loved than the moffat ones and
      B. They recently made a return in ‘AOTD’ so I fear that is one of the reasons as well.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      May 16th, 2013 - 5:13am

I like the Time War Daleks a lot, but I would’ve preferred a metallic red Dalek Drone, since A) It would be a brand new figure, and b) Because I’m one of the few who like the Paradigm Daleks more than the older models.

    • DoctorWhoFan101

      May 16th, 2013 - 7:08am

As much as I like the RTD era Daleks, it would’ve been nice to see the newer ones as they may not have been popular, but since the RTD era Daleks have made a return, their love has turned back to the old ones…
