If not or you’ve managed to get one, then offer is there for anyone in Bexhill/Hastings area. And in case anyone complains at me having a spare, it was bought to give as a thank you for someone’s hard and much appreciated work but they already had one. I would rather pass to fellow collector than an eBayer.

Previous years when I’ve phoned B&M’s the person I’ve got has almost always checked the shelf, and if not I’ve told them the product code and said a date. This year the only store that I’ve found that has them is too far away for me to get to easily, and every other store either hasn’t answered or has the templated ‘No’ without even checking, and then the ‘Not sure if we’re getting them in on delivery’ line too (although there was one helpful person who stated that she’d had another call earlier and had clearly learnt that the 9th Doctor set is old stock).

August 14th, 2018 - 1:06pmThat just means that the store that managers from doesnt come under the distribution area for the items meaning that even if he requested them he wouldn’t get them as his distribution center won’t have the stock.

They have not had stock yet but the very nice manager rang the bargain store in Reading to check if they had it. They did. But one person came in and bought the lot! I have no sympathy for scalpers at all. They know what they are doing. I wish B and M would put a limit on how may people can buy. The whole lot of their stock is just very selfish and greedy. But how do you beat the scalpers at their game? Let’s face it they are probably reading these pages and finding out where stock is. Grrrrrr. : (

August 14th, 2018 - 10:51amSomeone claimed that B&M Cribbs Causeway had the TARDIS in stock. I’ve just phoned them and a very helpful guy told me that the HADN’T had them in. Now if someone is posting misleading information it isn’t funny as many of us have to travel quite a way to reach the stores. Now there is a possibility that they may be right but the guy I spoke to checked the product code and confirmed that at this time they had received nothing!

August 14th, 2018 - 10:29amOn Friday they were able to tell me that 4000 units were delivered into the warehouse. On Saturday afternoon, a different store checked the stocks on their stock gun device, there were 3000 units remaining in the warehouse. I was told that 1 unit is one TARDIS and they are allocated in boxes of 6. I’m not quite sure how this information stacks up, but that’s the information I was given.

August 14th, 2018 - 10:32amThats right. There is no logical reason for less TARDIS sets to be produced, than the figure sets. Both from a business, and a manufacturing point of view.
B&M and other parties, are there to make money.
The produced stock is supposed to last the current season, and it will.

Nor do individual stores get to choose what they stock.

People on here or any other site don’t know how the systems works so if course they are going to go chasing they are collectors and not used having to do this, they don’t want the risk of loosing out that’s why everything you see here is happening

Any scalpers should be a little worried that a buyer having ‘won’ a 3rd Doctor TARDIS set on ebay for say £120.00 might just not pay up if their local B&M store suddenly gets them in stock there for £20.00. It is not unheard of someone turning round to say that they no longer want the item. It is happened to me numerous times when selling CDs and ebay always favours the buyer!
