The colorful tin box (measuring approximately 8 5/8-inches wide x 6 3/4-inches tall x 4-inches deep) is magnificent enough by itself, but inside you’ll find retro-style action figures of William Hartnell’s First Doctor and Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor! The Doctors stand about 8-inches tall and feature real fabric clothing, accessories, and multiple points of articulation. Carry them all with you wherever your intergalactic travels take you!

The First Doctor is easily identified in his fancy buttoned vest, black coat, black-and-white checkered pants, and black shoes, carrying his walking stick. Fans of William Hartnell and the exciting adventures that first brought Doctor Who to the world will welcome him into their collection with open arms!

Matt Smith’s popular Eleventh Doctor is dressed in his trademark red bowtie, suspenders, white shirt, dark pants, brown tweed jacket (complete with elbow patches!), and shoes. He brings his Sonic Screwdriver along as an accessory, of course.

Produced by the BBC, Doctor Who is the longest-running sci-fi TV series in the world. The award-winning show presents the adventures of a time traveler known simply as “the Doctor.” Along with his companions, this mysterious Time Lord journeys through time and space using his TARDIS, which appears from the outside to be an ordinary police phone booth.

£8 of which is no doubt a RM handling charge, been caught myself

anything you import over £16 and gets picked up is charged at 20% + handling

its why the bif bang pow stuff is so expensive here to the USA

Technically I could contest this – But I don’t want to waste six months haggling to get my money back. Items over the threshold have to be comparable to items available in the EU. BUT this item is not comparable because no-one sell’s it there. Annoyed because this is a legal ‘rip-off’ unless you can be bothered to prove otherwise.
At least I’ll have one for the collection…

Same here – This is the first time in about 3 years that I’ve been ripped. So not a bad record really…

agree with that, although i dont know the ins and outs of import tax etc it just seems so much more expensive that in the USA, double on some stuff

Basically the line is ‘comparable to the EU’ which is a fancy way of protecting European Markets with items of the same price. Since most of these items are not available in Europe that line is false. But as no-one has seriously challenged Customs & Excise over this, their wretched practice of ripping people off continues…

-if these figures are in separate blister packs of their own to match the others released (not loose inside the tin like the Master’s twisted packed lunch joke!)i may get them…otherwise no chance.

does anyone know if they are individually packaged?

they are loose in the tin, they would never fit in in the packaging

      Thanks booboo… 😀
      – in that case, do you think they will get individual standard releases later on?

not sure, they are selling the tin on its own so at least one of the figures in its outfit should be a one off

doesn’t stop them selling another variant of the figure though

To be honest I don’t think they will get a separate release. They already have another 11th. Doctor in a different costume to be released, which I think we be the standard one. Seeing as Bif Bang Pow are so behind on their release’s in this range I’m surprised these turned up more-or-less out of the blue…
