Doctor Who 11th Doctor’s Green Jacket
Doctor Who 11th Doctor’s Green Jacket (USA)
Available to order from www.abbyshot.com
Literally in the middle of a mystery! Oh, I love a mystery – just ask ol’ Aggie! But my mystery begins
and ends with my oh-so-cool Green Coat!
(Yes, yes – tweed is still all the rage, but sometimes it’s nice to mix it up a bit!)
But I love this coat – falls beneath the knees, double-breasted and the perfect shade of green!
Elphaba Thropp meets Dad’s Army! And made of 100% moleskin!
Oh and six pockets! Perfect for sonic screwdriver-storing, Jammie Dodger-hiding, or just general
stuff-keeping.
And how can you top six pockets? With SIX Buttons! Shiny, with a cool, unique crest thing!
And that’s not even including the posh kasha lining and right gun flap! Or, as I’ve aptly renamed it,
the banana flap!
So why am I describing my beautiful coat to you?
Because, I don’t know where I got it from.
Seriously. Was searching for the missus, fancied a coat and there it was in the wardrobe. Don’t
remember buying it. Don’t remember it being there. So, I typed all of the above into a search
engine thingy …
…and found that AbbyShot sells my EXACT coat! Double-breasted, six pockets , six buttons, a
banana flap, Elphaba Thropp meets Dad’s Army green in 100% moleskin and in all different sizes!
Breathe!
And that’s the mystery. Did AbbyShot make the coat because they saw me looking so cool in it? Or,
did Future Me buy the coat from this site and pop back to leave it for Past Me?
The 11th Doctor’s Green Jacket is a long pea coat that can be described as Elphaba Thropp meets Dad’s Army green. You may remember it from such episodes as Let’s Kill Hitler and The Wedding of River Song. This recreation is a seriously swanky coat made of 100% moleskin fabric, fully lined for your comfort. It’s double-breasted with six pockets (including a banana-length interior pocket for a convenient snack!). It’s the perfect outerwear choice for battling your enemies, be they Silent, Angel, or Dalek in nature.

February 15th, 2014 - 12:42pmHow long was the coat on Matt Smith? I’m thinking of making a custom figure. Oh, and was his new darker jacket just above the knees? Thanks
